Hazel eyed beauty Reema Sen recently got married in a low key affair but that does not keep her away from acting in movies.She is going to play the role of a cop in her upcoming Tamil flick S A Chandrashekar’s Sattam Oru Iruttarai. She worked hard and also worked on her body language to suit a cop. The movie is about the relationship about a brother and sister and she plays the sister who is a policewoman.
When asked whether she had any physical fighting scenes in the movie, she said no. She said that it was all about ‘mindgames’ and how to know the difference between right and wrong and choose what’s right.

Mankatha fame director Venkat Prabhu’s next flick Biryani starring Karthi is making news for all sorts of good reasons. And the latest news from Kollywood is that the newly wed couple Sneha and Prasanna may be part of this flick.
The shooting of the film is expected to start once Karthi completes Alex Pandian. Alex Pandian has been running into some troubles and is expected to be complete in September. The music for the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Sources say that he has completed two songs already and is composing the third currently.

Women across the world have been making rapid progress conquering new horizons day by day. They entered into armed forces, skyrocketed into the space and what not. So when they become law makers in various countries it is not a surprise. However many feel that Andhra Pradesh lacks Lady fire power. One look at Country’s political scenario except for a few not many entered politics and emerged successful. Indira Gandhi inherited leadership qualities and she stamped her authority in style. The same can not be said of Rabri Devi who used to be the rubber stamp CM and same is the case of Mayawathi who has been for long under the wings of Kanshiram. However after Kanshiram’s demise she showed her power. However both used their authority and political power for personal benefits. Mamata Bannerjee has been in Cong fold for years and unable to bear the suppression turned tigress and became CM of Bengal. She using her power and influence shifted all the projects to Bengal for the benefit of the poor. Same can be said of Jayalalitha, though used power for personal means, did beneficial things for the poor. UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi wouldn’t have entered politics had not been the sad demise of Rajiv Gandhi. From then on she enjoyed immense clout thanks to impotent Congress leaders. However she used her power for her personal benefits and greed.
Though Country has seen so many lady bosses except for Mamatha and Jayalalitha others used power for selfish ends. Coming to Andhra Pradesh the powerful Reddy, Naidu and Kamma lobby never allowed ladies to come up politically. Though we have firebrands like Vijayashanti, Vijayamma, Sharmila, Roja, Nannapaneni Rajakumari, Gangabhavani to name a few, all are answerable and accountable to their political bosses and anytime they can be shown the door. Purandreswari became minister at Union Govt but did little for Andhra Pradesh. All this shows that AP lacks Lady fire power who can work for the benefit of the poor.

Producers vie for Shirdi Sai distribution Rights

Nagarjuna’s latest devotional venture Shirdi Sai has been a hot cake in trade. Producers are fighting for the distribution rights of thr film which is due for the release on 6 September. Dil Raju has grabbed Nizam rights. Aswini Dutt has takent the rights of his home district Krishna territory. Valluripally Ramesh has bought East Godari distribution rights. Producer in form – Bellamkonda Suresh has taken theaterical rights for Ceded area.
Raghavender Rao who earlier directed movies like Annamaya, Sri Ramadadu is the director of the movie. MM Keeravani has composed the music like the other two. CEO of the famous AMR real estate group, A.Mahesh Reddy is producing this movie on Sri Sai Krupa Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. And his wife Sulochana Reddy will be presenting the movie.

Helpless Police need Protection

When people face any problem or threat to their lives or when there is any law and order problems everyone look up to Police force to bring the situation under control and maintain peace in each and every part of the country. However Police force including the top brass in the state of Andhra Pradesh has become so helpless and fearful that they themselves are seeking protection from law breakers.

Fear gripped entire police force with incidents of MLA and Minister Danam Nagender behaving in a high handed manner taking law into his hands and locking popular temple at the heart of Hyderabad. As if this was not enough he even abused SI Ramesh who was just doing his duty. Though complaint has been registered nothing happened in his case. Similar is the case of fire brand MLA of TRS, Harish Rao who hurled foul language on DCP Stephen Ravindra and even kicked constable who fell down while vacating the place filled with mob protesting rise in electricity charges at Vidyut Sowdha.
These incidents are sending shivers down the spines of top police bosses and they quickly organized a meeting seeking immunity against these attacks. Unlike earlier when they used to pass a resolution seeking action against wrong doers, this time they went ahead and warned saying if these law breakers are not reigned in, they will be forced to use force and teach them a lesson.

Recently popular national channel NDTV conducted a poll survey to find out the mood of the nation. In the nation wide poll the survey found out that if mid term polls are conducted now, UPA led by Congress will be booted out of power in Centre as well as in State. Particularly in Andhra Pradesh, survey predicted Congress will bag around 9 MP seats compared to its present tally of 33 while TRS predicted to bag 10 seats. YSRCP is all set to sweep polls winning 21 MP seats. What has baffled the TDP supremo Chandrababu is that it drew blank in the survey.
From then on Chandra Babu and his party leaders started alleging that NDTV chief Prannoy Roy received whopping amounts from YSRCP and did predictions in its favor. This surprised many political leaders and poll analysts as surveys are part and parcel of the game and there are 50-50 chances of surveys becoming true. But TDP and Babu is unable to digest the hard reality and conveniently forgetting the fact that it was routed out in all byelections in the State. Instead of setting his house in order and getting his strategies right Babu is living in Fools Paradise throwing stones at others living in a glass house.

Even a child knows that present state of TDP is pathetic and doesn’t need any sophisticated survey to predict who will be the winner. Everyone still remember how channels supported by Babu, predicted TDP coming back to power in last assembly elections and how it was routed. Same is the case in by elections with Babu owned media. It’s better Babu get his things right or party will disappear from AP.

Tollywood’s Manmadhudu Akkineni Nagarjuna is celebrating his 53rdd Birthday today. Even at this age, the senior actor has his hands full of big ticket films. His much-anticipated devotional film is all set for an early September release, followed by Damarukham in November. His Love Story which is currently being shot will hit the screens early next year.
He is doing a film, Bhai, under the direction of Veerabhadram which will go on to sets very soon. Also he’s planning to do another film featuring his father, Akkineni Nageswara Rao and his son Naga Chaitanya. “Director Vikram Kumar came up with a very interesting script and we liked it,” he says.

Recent NDTV polls suggest that he is the most preferred choice for CM post with 48% voting in his favor. More importantly in Rayalaseema and Andhra he left his contenders way behind with 62% voting in his favor and even in Telangana region 19% voted for him which is surprisingly high over chief architect of telangana movement TRS chief KCR getting only 17%.

This came as shocker for all his arch rivals especially TDP and Congress who have been working hand in hand to see his end. Now these two parties are spending sleepless nights and they even suspect foul play by Jagan and feel that he is managing media and surveys as well as he is into media itself. Many political analysts feel they are running for cover as they are getting no respite from Jagan’s party. Already YS.Vijayamma is doing dharnas on one issue and another and now that the findings of the surveys, YSR CP has got a new weapon in its already powerful armor. It has to be seen how TDP and Congress will counter Jagan’s mind games.

Tollywood Jakkana Rajamouli who right after his sensational success ‘Ega’, readily plunged into action and produced ‘Andala Rakshasi’ directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, seems to have fallen in love with Rakshasi. Charan completes shooting for Subhaleka Rasukunna remix song

The unit of Nayak has wrapped up the shooting for the remix number Subhalekha Rasukunna. Director VV Vinayak has completed filming the remix version of the famous yesteryear song on mega power star Ram Charan and Amala Paul in the picturesque locations of Iceland. From yesterday (August 27, 2012), two more songs are being canned in Iceland on Ram Charan and Kajal Agarwal for the same film. Music is composed by S S Taman.
Music director S S Taman has composed the music for the remix version and the crew was reportedly thrilled with his tunes. Thaman earlier impressed megastar Chiranjeevi with the tunes for the remix version of Subhalekha Rasukunna. Vinayak will also film couple of songs in Ireland on Ram Charan and Kajal Agarwal for this film, which will release for 2013 pongal.

In her own words, “So far, I have never felt the need for any enhancement surgery. What I have is what I have been blessed with. People had a lot of issues about the fact that I was dusky and not a conventional-looking heroine. But I still got the opportunities I did”.

Charmee who is left with no offers in Tollywood for a long time recently did a movie ‘Thappana’ in Malayalam and scored a hit there. And now, Charmee is back to Tollywood for an item song in Damarukham. Lakshmi Rai was supposed to dance for this song but Nagarjuna had recommended Charmee. Charmee earlier shook legs with Nagarjuna for item songs in King and Ragada. The movies were decent hits and following the sentiment, Charmee was roped in for Damarukham too.
The song shoot will take place from 30th of this month in Hyderabad. With this the movie shooting will be complete. The audio release of the movie will take place on September 10th and movie will hit the screens on October 12th.

Here is the story line of Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Nayak. Charan is playing dual role in the movie. One of them is a mass guy and the other is a class guy. In the first half of the movie, the mass guy does a series of murders. In the interval bang, the second guy gets arrested for the murders. When the judge is about to pronounce the judgement, the real culprit appears before the court and agrees his crime. And the second half is all about why he does all the murders.
The movie is touted to be a mass masala movie in which Ram Charan plays dual roles. Kajal Agarwal and Amala Paul are acting as the female leads and Thaman composing the music for this movie.

Cherry should keep it in view that it is not easy to take on ‘Kahalnayak’ Sanjay Dutt and should concentrate more on his expressions and seriousness in his eyes. Tollywood has many heroes who have prefixes in front of their names signifying their stardom. Whatever may be the star status all are busy doling out monotonous mass entertainers. Except for masses all movie lovers get a feeling that except for the change in the star cast, director and produce names every thing will be same in the storyline with few predictable changes here and there. Many point out that being the main reason why Tollywood films are not making it to the award rounds though the industry makes highest number of films every year.
Compared to that, even young heroes from kollywood are winning national awards. Some of the stars whom tollywood branded as not of star material went on to become promising stars in tamil. They include Vikram,Vishal, Srikanth(Sriram), Anjali etc. Many of us hate to see the faces of tamil heroes like Vijay and Dhanush as they don’t qualify to hero qualities like looks and charms. Dhanush scored stunning hat trick of hits on his debut and went on to become Rajanikanth’s son-in-law. Even then he remained down to earth, listened to directors and went on to win national award for ‘Adukalam’. Similar is the case with Vikram who went on to win national award for ‘Pitamagan’(Sivaputrudu). Buzz is this year there will be stiff competition for national award between Vikram and Vishal for their performances in ‘Deiva Thirumagal’(Naanna) and ‘Avan Ivan’(Vaadu Veedu).
Many feel that our heroes should forget about their star status and fan following and follow director diligently in order to have a shot at national awards.

Many wonder why Mega Star Chiranjeevi is keeping quiet inspite of so many developments in State. Recently in a poll survey by NDTV it was predicted that Congress is in for a rout in Andhra Pradesh and even main opposition party TDP will be blanked out completely. TRS and YSRCP will be sweeping their respective regions emerging king makers in the formation of Govt at center.
In the midst of all this, what came as shocker for Chiru is only 6% want him as the CM of AP pouring cold water on his dreams and ambitions. Recently he gave statements on his birthday that people dream of seeing him as CM of the state. This is a shocker for Cong because they sent YS.Jagan packing from Cong, believing Megastar with his stardom will score over Jagan. However Jagan emerged victorious with 48% voters preferring him to be for CM post.
However Megastar is least bothered as his future as MP is safe for another 41/2 years.Many political analysts feel that he has turned Selfish Star and is only interested in achieving his own personal and selfish ambitions. A keen strategist he is, he planned his future perfectly visualizing his rout year back itself. He quickly merged his party with Cong and in turn became Rajya Sabha MP. If his wish of becoming a Union Minister or CM of the state atleast for couple of days his ambition will be fulfilled and his mission would be accomplished.
