Director Rajamouli created a sensation when he with Mega Power Star Ram Charan as hero rewrote all tollywood records with ‘Magadheera’. He has the sole distinction of having 100% track record of presenting a hit to all tollywood top heroes and when those films are remade in other languages, those turned out to be stunning hits. Bollywood film makers got in touch with him and were waiting eagerly to accord red carpet welcome to him, but he in a press statement yesterday, ruled out his bollywood entry for another four years. Many thought it was the arrogance that got into his heart and mind after the enormous success of his ‘Eega’. They even cite his statements not to do films with star heroes. Then with whom does he do films?. None can expect success from upcoming heroes everytime.
The same people who are now speaking about Rajamouli’s arrogance complimented for his Eega success, breaking the stranglehold of top heroes on the industry with films centered around their heroics and family name. They cite Rajamouli was not given due accord and credit he deserved when Magadheera turned out to be a hit, with mega family trying to take entire credit for themselves. But if we try to unravel the mystery of Rajamouli then his reasoning seems to be right.
As such he can not plunge into bollywood, as he is busy with 3D conversion of his blockbuster Eega. Then he has film ‘Viswamithra’ with young Rebel Star Prabhas. There are even indications that he will be teaming up with Power Star Pawan Kalyan and also Prince Mahesh Babu. When news about Balakrishna’s 100th film cropped up, he nipped those rumors in bud itself. so even if we take two projects starting at the end of this year, then the next year will be finished and one doesn’t know what will be in store for future.

Political colors dividing tollywood!

Every individual will support one party or other during elections and forget it later. Except for the die hard supporters of a particular party, many get along with their work. even tollywood film industry used to be like that couple of decades back but everything seems to have changed.

Tollywood now has political colors with the top four to five influential families are associated with one or the other party. It all started with Legendary NTR entering politics starting his own party TDP. From then on Nandamuri family members are associated with the party except for Daggupati Purandreeswari who joined Congress and became minister of state for HRD at Center.
Mega Star Chiranjeevi planned to have his own party PRP but with his dreams dashed, he is also enjoying his honeymoon with Congress becoming Rajya Sabha MP. So all the mega heroes can be branded as congress supporters. Till recently Darsakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao used to be the Central Minister with Congress Party.
Collection King Mohan Babu used to be with TDP during the regime of NTR. However with his son married to YS.Jagan’s relative, he is now with YSRCP and recently he along with his son visited Jagan in jail. Though he denies any political leanings it is hard to believe that. Super Star Krishna couple of years back was with Congress during YSR’s regime and he benefited a lot.
Now that YSRCP is there he may be leaning towards the party. Same is the case with Rebel Star Krishnam Raju, Murali Mohan and others. Having political leanings is one thing and getting divided due to these leanings is another thing. WIth so many ego clashes and power houses, it is not surprising that tollywood’s demands are never met by political parties or the party that is ruling the state.

Will TDP left with only Naidu?

Records created by TDP can be unmatched. Right from the day it originated with in six months of its inception, its founder NTR riding on people’s apathy of Congress CMs prostrating before Congress High Command at Delhi bagged power signaling the surge in people to show their Andhra Pride. His records are unmatched be it populistic schemes like 2Rs kilo rice or property rights for women.

Later Chandra Babu Naidu dislodged his father in law taking advantage of discomfort in NTRs kin over the importance given to Lakshmi Parvathi, NTR’s second wife. He ruled the state like CEO and got world wide recognition to the capital Hyderabad, turning it into hi tech city. With entire development concentrated only on one part of the city with rest of the state ignored along with other sectors, he lost power after ruling for 9 yrs.

Naidu’s dreams of a comeback were dashed due to changing power and political equations with the entry of Mega Star Chiranjeevi, who with his party PRP weaned away Naidu’s votes and later the death of YSR, after which sudden surge of Telangana Moment thanks to KCR, punched holes on strategies of King Maker Naidu. Now with Jagan making strong political forays, he is finding it difficult to stem the outflow of his party cadre and leaders to YSR CP. Though Naidu is trying all strategies to win over people’s confidence, he is finding it difficult to convince them, which is proving to be his eral headache. In the midst of all he is confronted with NTR family members waiting to take over the Party reigns.

Many feel if proper steps are not taken and confidence of people not won TDP will be left with only Naidu in the party.

Don’t get misled thinking Siddharth is going to act in a mythological movie. We are talking about his never say die attitude of him. HE recently produced his first movie and his maiden production venture Love Failure got him mediocre results with him finding it difficult to release the movie but the actor is not ready to subdue. He had announced that he is going to produce two more movies.
“Starting work on 2 films to shoot at the end of the year.Producing and acting in both. Details soon…exciting work ahead! fingers crossed:),” Siddharth posted on Twitter. He’s currently acting in Nandini Reddy’s upcoming film and another Tamil film which is being produced by Vetrimaaran.and there were rumours that he was in talks to buy the remake rights of Vicky Donor.

The TRS Chief K Chandrasekhara Rao who has been confidently telling people that Telangana is round the corner, now appears to have realized that he was taken for a ride, as fresh indications are making it clear that the central government was not all that keen to settle the issue in the near future.
The fact that congress party had extended an olive branch to the YSR Congress honorary president Y S Vijayamma during her visit to Sircilla in Karimnagar district is seen by TRS leaders as a danger signal. They now feel that this bonhomie was not the doing of the chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, but it was the very hand of friendship extended by the congress high command itself.
Having realized that KCR was led up the garden path by the congress, TRS is now gearing itself to stir up the agitation once again. Despite the serious differences that cropped up between the TRS and the Telangana Political JAC, the two have reportedly come to a fresh understanding that there was need to once again take to serious agitation course. The agenda would be peaceful demonstrations, dharnas by the employees, bandhs, rasta-rokos and the usual works.
TRS leaders are feeling that the Congress party is beginning to choose the YSR Congress as its ally in the 2014 elections. Having displayed its strength in the Parakala by-election, the YSR Congress which has also proved its superior fire power in the Seemandhra has attracted the attention of the Congress leadership. They now feel that it is not a party to be brushed off. Congress leaders recall the declaration of the YSRCP President Y S Jaganmohan Reddy that his party would support the UPA in forming government after the next general elections. Where is the need for antagonizing that party when it is keen on supporting UPA is the question being discussed in the Congress circles. If Jagan could help bring UPA to power, as a helpful ally he could be allowed to have his way in AP, appears to be the thinking of the congress leaders.
Sources say that it was true that Congress leadership had applied its mind to the Telangana tangle seriously soon after the recent by-elections. But some powerful Seemandhra MPs had thrown spanner in the works, say sources. This has resulted in second thoughts and the congress – Jagan tie up plan.
That Congress high command is not in a hurry to settle the Telangana issue was clear when the MPs of Telangana region met the AICC General Secretary and state party affairs in-charge Ghulam Nabi Azad on Tuesday evening. When they asked Azad to hasten the process, he told them that they could have another round of talks during the next session of the Parliament. This is a clear indication that there would be only further discussions and no clear decision in the near future

Andhra Pradesh which is known as rice bowl of India is creating record of sorts in the history of Indian politics, with tainted ministers in cabinet and even charge sheeted ministers with criminal proceedings in the highest court of the state, AP High court. Congress Govt at the Center and State is entangled in web of scams.
Never in the history it happened that a State Govt is bearing expenses of court proceedings against its Ministers misusing public money. All started when over jealous Congress High command and central leadership gave go ahead for Shankar Rao to file case in high court against its rebellious Kadapa MP and YS.Jagan alleging misuse of power and getting quid pro quo benefits during YSR regime. When court ordered CBI inquiry, it rewarded Shankar Rao with textiles ministry.
The ploy however backfired with Supreme Court ordered CBI to question even 6 cabinet ministers who were involved in signing of GOs passed during that time. Cong Govt allowed police to arrest its minister Mopidevi venkata Ramana before sending its bitter rival Jagan to jail. However all its cabinet ministers sought to take refuge under the statements that they just heeded to pressures of the then CM YSR and the Govt passed order giving financial assistance to all the 6 ministers to fight their case legally. However trouble started with Shankar Rao training his guns on these ministers. He was duly sacked.
This didnot end as other minister Danam Nagender and Mukesh Goud started criticizing CM Kiran. As if this was not enough the tainted judge in Gali Bail scam alleged that CBI is trying to shield State Law Minister Erasu and today one more shocker came from AP high court when it issued arrest warrant against Minister Parthasarathi in a murder case. Educated people are now disillusioned and are disgusted lot with comments doing around that the Govt is ‘Gang of Goons’ and State Cabinet is filled with ‘Corrupt and Criminals’.

Pawan, Puri’s cowboy sentiment !

And now following the sentiment, Puri who then directed Badri is shooting a similar song for his latest movie Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu a special set erected in Annapurna 7 acres. 
Production designer Chinna had designed a beautiful set for this where Pawan Kalyan is dancing in a cowboy getup along with foreign models. Dinesh master is supervising the choreography for the song while Mani Sharma provided the tune.

Sarah Jane Dias who recently paired up with Pawan Kalyan in Panjaa was hurt by a stone-pelter at Faridabad during a promotional programme of her forthcoming film Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum at Faridabad.
She was in tears the moment she was hit, and it resulted in slight swelling on her lip. However, ice was immediately applied on the injury. The event was titled an “adult party” and Riteish Deshmukh, Tusshar Kapoor and Neha Sharma were also present on stage with her.
She voiced her angst on social media. “A stone was thrown at me on stage in Faridabad, it hit and hurt my lip, for the first time in my life, I’m truly ashamed of our people… If they were trying to defeat my spirit, it hasn’t worked!”

Ravi Teja badly missing Kajal !?

Vikram Vashishtha, who’s the nephew of real life spy (late) Ravindra Kaushik, has sent a legal notice to Yash Raj Films asking them for a special screening of the film. Vashishtha said that his mama, (late) Ravindra Kaushik was sent on a secret intelligence mission to Pakistan. Vashishtha has alleged that the promos of Ek Tha Tiger bear a striking resemblance to his uncle’s experiences in Pakistan and hence his family has sought legal assistance to either have a look at the original script or see the film before it releases nationwide.
It was a sentiment for Sallu Bhai to release his movies on Eid. All his recent blockbusters, Wanted, Ready, Bodyguard released on the same day. We will have to see if this controversy disturbs the sentiment.

Samantha fails to keep her promise

Samantha is away from camera for more than 3 months now due to Skin related problems. The shooting schedules of her current projects Autongar Suriya, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Yeto Vellipothundhi Manasu had gone haywire due to the change in movie schedules.

Now all his hopes lies on Puri’s ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’ as it has bearing on his mass image and also his future projects. Two-Three years back fight for seperate statehood for Telangana reached its peak when all parties, NGOs, Govt officials successfully driving home the need for the state to the ruling UPA dispensation at Center. Had they been united and strong during that time, people could have realised the long cherished dream of Telangana. However UPA which is famous for divide and rule policy weaned away some of the forces to its side, which ultimately fizzled out the heat in the T-Movement.
This has been the problem for Telangana people that whenever they feel that the end is near, political parties take them for a ride. It happened during 60s and 70s when Marri Chenna Reddy’s party swept polls in entire telangana region. Had he stood his ground for seperate Telangana, Center would have granted Telangana as it had no other option at that time. But he sold the aspirations of people of Telangana and the demand for seperate statehood for coveted CM post.
It seems history is repeating as TRS chief KCR, who is hailed as the architect of Telangana, is leading the movement according to his whims and fancies and many feel that he is out only to increase his number of seats and political power so that he can get things in his favor. He completely forgot about seperate statehood and only opens the tap of Telangana movement, instigate peoples feelings only for his political ends. Congress will never grant seperate statehood for the fear of KCR getting all credit and only if it feels that it will atleast win in Telanagna, it will deliver on its promise. It already lost hopes on Seemandhra and don’t want to give Telangana on platter to KCR and lose both the regions, as it will hamper its chances of making Rahul as PM.
Now TRS which is out on a mission to wipe out TDP found new enemy as YSRCP is on its mission to wipe out TRS. In this struggle for existence and war with in war belagured TDP and Babu may get a breather as TRS currently trained its guns on YSRCP.

Balayya Inclusion in UKUP makes any difference ?

Manchu family is eagerly waiting for this Friday to rise as their ambitious project Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara is releasing on that day. This is the biggest film ever made from Mohanbabu’s banner. As per the producer, Manchu Lakshmi, the budget of UKUP is Rs 23,86,24,000. This doesn’t include the prints and publicity cost. Also the interest for the finances is not added. The given amount is the cost of production of UKUP which includes post production expenses and remunerations.
This film was planned as a medium budget venture at the start. But with Balakrishna’s inclusion they got the courage to double the estimated budget and are expecting to earn good profits from it. UKUP will have to make at least Rs. 30 crores to breakeven, which means it should score the biggest hit in entire history of ‘Manchu’ movies.
Lakshmi Manchu is confident that audiences would lap this film up as it falls in the league of Chandramukhi and Arundathi. They believe that Balakrishna could make the difference and make it a huge hit. As per the unit members, Balakrishna’s role in this film would be like Rajanikanth’s in Pedarayudu. His screen time is around 20 minutes and the impact of his character would be there throughout the second half.
