Chandrababu worries about those 5 MLAs

TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu is worried man as five of his MLAs had defied the party’s diktat of abstaining from the Presidential poll and participated in the voting. It is learnt that all the five defiant MLAs had voted for the UPA nominee Pranab Mukherjee, whom the party opposed vehemently.
Though it is not a surprise that these – MLAs Kodali Nani, Bala Nagi Reddy, Hariswar Reddy, Samudrala Venugopalachary and Chinnam Rama Kotaiah have been distancing themselves since quite some time, Naidu had not expected this brazen defiance of his authority. He is now worried on knowing that four of these MLAs were planning to join the YSR Congress, while Chinnam Rama Kotaiah, the fifth has planned to join the Congress.
Chinnam has initially tried to join the YSR Congress party. However, when the party could not assure him the Nuzvid seat from where he won in 2009 as TDP candidate, he has decided to join the Congress, after getting assured of the ticket. He has earlier declared to the shock of Naidu that he would not contest from Nuzvid as TDP candidate even if the ticket was offered to him, as there was no chance of winning. Bala Nagi Reddy has been critical of the TDP leadership and the party has already asked the speaker to take action on him.
Bala Nagi Reddy has been maintaining close relations with the YSR Congress party. Hariswar Reddy and Venugopalachary have been sailing with Telangana Nagara Samiti leader Nagam Janardana Reddy, protesting against the attitude of Naidu on the Telangana issue. However TDP leadership has not so far taken any firm decision to discipline these two. Now that they have openly defied Naidu’s authority, it has become imperative for him take some firm action to curtail indiscipline spreading to other ranks of the party. Though the party could not issue any whip with regard to the presidential poll as it was apolitical and could not hence take disciplinary action on that count, it may take action on some other count at the earliest say sources.

BalaKrishna’s previous film Adhinayakudu faced too many problems to see the light. Adhinayakudu struggling for release has done damage to the reputation of Balakrishna and the actor is aware of it.
Balakrishna knows that if his current film releases on time without any delay then those who pointed fingers against him during Adhinayakudu will shut their mouths. Therefore, Balayya is particular about releasing his current film Srimannarayana without any postponements. He has completed the film in a flash and guess what, Srimannarayana is getting ready for release shortly. The film’s audio will be launched on August 6.
Balakrishna hurrying up the release of Srimannarayana has been worrying Mohan Babu’s camp as their film Uu Kodatara Ulikkipadathara is due for release on July 27. Allu Arjun’s Julayi has finally managed to do something exceptional to grab everyone’s attention. Despite being directed by Trivikram and having one of the most promising actors as the lead, Julayi somehow has been laying low in terms of craze. There is no real buzz around this film. Usually big films are surrounded by huge expectations and craze.
For some reason Julayi failed to achieve that attractive status and is failing to charm the audience. But wait, Julayi did that sensational thing which is needed to make extra buzz among the media circles. The satellite rights of this film have been sold for a stunning 5.7 crore rupees and it is definitely one of the biggest deals ever made in Tollywood.
Who is the reason for Julayi to get such a great deal? It is not a great puzzle as we all know that it is Trivikram’s effect that helped Julayi to pull off this feat. Trivikram’s movies always attract great TRPs. Even his flop film Khaleja gets very good TRPs as it has superb comedy. Trivikram’s Athadu is still among the hottest films on television. Banking on Trivikram may not be safe for the theatrical rights buyers , but he is more than a safe bet for satellite right holders.

Chiru Recovers Damage with Odarpu ?

0
With Congress just winning two seats in the by-polls, the image of both the party and megastar Chiru have comedown drastically. To repair the damage, our star-hero is preparing guns in the lines of YSR and Jagan now.
According to Congress insiders, Chiru is planning something like an Odarpu Yatra for poor voters who are suffering from the inefficiency of the government in solving problems. Earlier Jagan used to do Odarpu-Yatra for them and fetched huge win in the by-polls, so Chiru is copying him now. Meeting farmers and sleeping in social-welfare hostels are said to be main agenda of Chiru to boost party’s image. This is what Jagan tried to do all the time though he is not having full political power and Chiru is repeating it.
The big question is how Chiru would solve the issues raised by farmers and other common people when a person like Chief Minister is not able to. Other than raising his own image, public will get no benefits, says a political observer.

Nagarjuna’ revenue plan for ‘Shiridi Sai’

0

King Nagarjuna is not only just wooing youths and college going girls at the moment, but his target is bigger than one expects. As a part of revenue generation, he is now focusing on car drivers, it appears.
Nagarjuna’s latest movie ‘Shirdi Sai Baba’ is all set to hit the tinsel town with its striking audio in a couple of days. Music scored by Keeravani is said to be both melodious and inspirational for devotional fans. However, there are no buyers for audio cassettes and CDs of any audio these days irrespective of the success of music. Except auto drivers and call-taxi owners, most others are not showing interest to buy CDs as they can simply download from internet.
It is now heard that Nagarjuna has been planning with the makers and audio company to release the audio CDs of ‘Shirdi Sai Baba’ movie at cheap cost. This will not only increase the revenue, but will make the audio go deep into different types of audiences who travel in autos and cabs. Once the audio rocks like ‘Annamaya’ and ‘Sri Ramadasu’, it will be easy for the producers to recollect their investment.
Seems like, Nagarjuna has got a good experience in sending music of devotional movies deep into audience. Hence Nag is doing all these preparations to save his producer.

SC accepts Vijayamma’s Petition on CBN

The Supreme Court has on Wednesday admitted the petition filed by the YSR Congress party’s honorary president Y S Vijayamma, challenging the dismissal of her petition by the AP high court on the assets of the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and some others.
The Apex Court has posted the petition of Vijayamma to July 23 for hearing.Challenging the high court’s decision of dismissing her petition, Vijayamma has filed a petition in the Supreme Court, in which she has asked for investigation into the assets of Chandrababu and 16 others.
It may be recalled that the high court had earlier ordered for investigation by the CBI, ED and other agencies into the assets of all those named by Vijayamma including Chandrababu Naidu. However some of the respondents have gone to the Supreme Court and challenged the investigation on the grounds that it was against principles of natural justice that investigation was ordered without giving them notices. The Supreme Court has directed them to go back to the High Court and seek justice there itself.
Following this direction, these respondents have filed petitions in the high court, challenging the investigation. However, after examining these petitions, the High Court has said there was no Public Interest in the case and dismissed Vijayamma’s petition.
Vijayamma has challenged the decision of the High Court in the Supreme Court. Vijayamma has also named Eenadu group chairman Ramoji Rao and some other TDP leaders in her petition. She has contended that persons like Sujana Choudary and CM Ramesh have benefited during the TDP regime and the then government had indulged in misuse of power to benefit them to do favours to them.
