Incidentally or Coincidentally, Daggubati scion Rana had been working with flop directors or lesser known directors. And now he is reportedly working with one more flop director. And that director is Teja. Teja was once a master in delivering hits with low budget flicks and casting new comers. But off late, he was out of touch and lady luck had deserted him. He used all the tricks in his kitty to score a hit but all in vain. And now he gets one more chance.
This time he is going to direct Daggubati scion Rana in a new film. The movie will be produced by Multidimension entertainments ltd. Rana is currently busy shooting for Krishnum Vande Jagadgurum. More details of the project very soon.

Julayi postponed to August ?

Eega’s success had prompted the makers of Julayi to postpone the movie from the original 13th release date. The makers wanted to move the movie a week backwards but things were not favorable then too. The holy month of Ramzan is starting from 20th of this month and this will have effect on collections in Ceeded and Nizam considerably. Collections in Allu Arjun’s strong hold Kerala state will also be affected as there are few biggies lined up there for 20th.
Siri media distributors who had bagged the entire AP rights of the movie is also considering to push the movie release to August. Clarity on this issue is expected in few days.

Sensational director Rajamouli had watched the Tamil version of Rajamouli’s Eega, Naan Ee on Sunday (July 8th) at Devi Cineplex in Chennai and seemed to have highly impressed with the film and Rajamouli’s work.He even left his message – Super Film – about the movie at visitor’s book of the movie theater. Such praise coming from Shankar, the director who is master in working with VFX, would definitely put Rajamouli and his team on a cloud nine.

Jagan is likely to Support Pranab !

It looks like YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and his party MLAs have more or less decided to vote for United Progressive Alliance candidate Pranab Mukherjee in the Presidential elections scheduled to be held on July 19.
There was a talk initially that Jagan party might abstain from voting as it does not want to vote for the veteran Congress leader because of the witch-hunting attitude of the Congress high command towards him. At the same time, it will not be able vote for National Democratic Alliance candidate P A Sangma, as it would send wrong signals to the minorities in the state. So, the best way is to abstain from the voting.
However, with Jagan filing a bail petition in the Supreme Court in which he requested that he should be allowed to vote in the Presidential elections, it is now evident that the party would definitely participate in the voting, instead of abstaining from it. So, which way the party would go? Party sources say Jagan would not go with the NDA candidate under any circumstances, as was made clear by him on several occasions. So, the only option is Pranab Mukherjee.
Sources say though Jagan is treating the Congress party with contempt, he has a lot of regard for Pranab because of the latter’s personal friendship with late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. So, Jagan party would vote for Pranab on this pretext of personal relationship between him and the YSR family, sources added.

Kodali Nani dismissed from TDP !

TDP has dismissed Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani as a spent force soon after he has met the YSR Congress honorary president Y S Vijayamma and president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Monday. They have also suddenly realized that he was absolutely corrupt and a political prostitute. They have alleged that he has taken Rs. 30 cr. from the YSR Congress.
YSR Congress leader Roja has questioned how much Chandrababu Naidu has received when he hopped into the TDP, leaving the Congress party. She has also questioned how much TDP has given to Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu when he has left Congress and joined the TDP.
One TDP MP has said that Nani told them that he had spent Rs. 30 crore during the 2009 elections and asked if the party would give him so much money to once again contest in 2014, as the chances of the party winning then were bleak. He said this was the presumption for their alleging that Nani might have taken or was assured of that kind of payment for contesting the by-election to be caused if he resigned for his assembly seat.
Though TDP is dismissing that Nani’s departure would not matter as he was not a force, political observers do not think so. There is a strong feeling that departure of Nani would lead to a series of departures from the party from the community including Vallabhaneni Vamsi, another Jr. NTR loyalist. TDP should not take this turn lightly. It should probe into the reasons why leaders were leaving the party instead of dismissing them as weak or useless candidates.

Even before all the buzz is dying down, and reality is sinking Second Eega is all set to stun. Film Nagar sources say Rajamouli has already readied sequel for the film in which Sudeep who was killed assumes the form of Eagle out to teach a lesson to Eega. If it is indeed true then it will be another visual treat for tollywood movie lovers. However it may take years before it turns out to be a reality as Rajamouli will be busy with his Hindi version due for release in December and flicks with Mahesh, Pawan Kalyan and Prabhas.

She was invited to recieve award at SIIMA awards function at Dubai. But though she flew to many countries Dubai authorities rejected her visa much to her chargin for unknown reasons. Many say obtaining Visa to Dubai is easy than to US and UK. However Nayan is unable to findout why her Visa has been rejected.

FIR filed against Manchu Manoj ?

Tamil actor Mahat Raghavendra has filed a First Information Report (FIR) against Telugu actor Manchu Manoj for allegedly assaulting him at a party held in Chennai. According to the complaint, the incident took place in the early hours of Sunday, July 8, in a party. Mahat has claimed that Manoj and three of his friends have beaten him up without even telling him what the issue was about. “I was assaulted by these men for several minutes. I was hit on my face, my stomach and my lower body. I was severely threatened after getting hit by Mr. Manoj, saying that my death was in his hands and that he would go to any extent to use his influence to have me killed” a reputed English newspaper which claimed to have got a copy of the FIR has quoted him as saying.
However, Manoj, his brother Vishnu and Sister Lakshmi Prasanna have all said that it was a small misunderstanding which was settled. They however did not deny the incident. Manoj said he and Mahat have been friends since ages and would continue to be.

Mega producer Dil Raju is not only big-hearted for making big-budgeted movies, but also sounds sensible with his talks many times. The other day, a gathering of Telugu NRIs have held this producer in high esteem for his polite advice.
Dil Raju was the chief guest at the recently convened meetings of American Telugu Association. During a meet regarding the development of AP state, many NRI biggies have stated that Government is failing to control the fluoride problem in Nalgonda. Our producer has grabbed the mike all of a sudden and stated that everyone should stop blaming others for halting development.
‘We should not blame someone for failure of development. We have to think how much we have done for the sake of solving that problem’, advised Dil Raju. Spectators at the convention have filled the auditorium with claps for next five minutes.
It is heard that this producer is spending huge money to build fresh-water purification plants in Nalgonda. If all the Telugu NRIs donate few bucks to solve this problem, there will not be any fluoride affected children in the district for sure.

Harikrishna confirms no connection with Nani !

TDP Rajya Sabha member Nandamuri Hari Krishna had denied that Kodali Nani, party’s MLA who is said to be joining the YSR Congress, was his follower. He told the media that he knew Nani only in the film industry and had no political relations with him.
Despite Hari Krishna’s denial, it is a known fact that Nani was close to both Hari Krishna and Jr. NTR. NTR used to call him ‘anna’ (elder brother).
The followers of Hari Krishna and Jr. NTR in Krishna district are unhappy with the domination of TDP’s Krishna district president Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao. It is because of this discontent that Nani has decided to leave the party and join YSR Congress. It is being said that another dissident leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi also would join the YSR Congress soon.
Krishna and Guntur districts are strong bastions of the TDP. The powerful Kamma community has been backing the TDP ever since N T Rama Rao launched the TDP in eighties. Despite attaining commanding position in all the coastal districts, Jagan’s party is still week in Krishna and Guntur districts. They have been trying to win strong Kamma leaders to their side. It is in this context that the YSRCP has succeeded in wining Nani to their side.
Nuzvid TDP MLA Chinnam Rama Kotaiah has already declared that he would not seek reelection in 2014 on TDP ticket even if it was offered to him. It is learnt that he also has been waiting for a green signal from Jagan to jump into that party. Rama Kotaiah has been keeping every one guessing as he has also met the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.
The departure of Nani is a step in the direction of weakening the TDP and striking at its Kamma vote bank. If Vamsi also joins the YSRCP, it would be a big loss to the TDP. Both the leaders have a strong cadre base.

Kodali Nani Meets Jagan in Jail !

TDP Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani who was suspended by his party earlier in the day, has met the YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in the Chanchalguda jail here on Monday. It is learnt that he has spoken to the Kadapa MP about the formalities of his joining the YSR Congress.
Nani has earlier met the YSRCP honorary president Vijayamma and soon after knowing about it, TDP has suspended him from the party.

Jagan files bail petition in SC !

YSR Congress president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has filed bail petition in the Supreme Court on Monday.
He has filed the petition as his petition in the High Court was rejected. CBI has argued that investigation of the disproportionate assets case against Jagan was in a critical stage and releasing him at this stage would jeopardize the investigation. CBI has also expressed fears that Jagan might influence or intimidate the witnesses. The high court has upheld the contention of the CBI and rejected bail to the Kadapa MP.
Jagan has in his fresh petition, also sought permission to vote in the Presidential election as an MP.
Jagan has said in this petition that he was in the custody of the CBI for five days and cooperated with the agency in its investigation. He has also contended that the CBI could not prove the quid pro quo allegation it made against him. He has assured the court that he would cooperate in the investigation and would not leave the country. He has also said that he was also ready to go anywhere the Enforcement Directorate might ask him to come.
He has explained that as the president of a party he has to fight on people’s problems. He has also contended that all the allegations against him were of political nature. He has also pointed out that CBI was seeking to keep him inside the jail on the plea that he would influence the witnesses and as the agency has been filing charge-sheet after charge-sheet, he was unable to understand how long the agency proposed to keep him in the jail. He has also argued that CBI has failed to prove its allegations that he was trying to influence the witnesses. Expressing fear that he faced life threat in the jail, he sought bail.
Pointing that he has been cooperating with the CBI since the last nine months, he said CBI was violating his fundamental rights by adopting a vindictive attitude. He has also brought it to the notice of the Apex Court that the CBI was leaking vital information to select media.

Famous Bollywood director Ram Gopal Verma shocked all with his tweet saying that the slain al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden was addicted to Sunny Leone’s videos. According to the director’s sources, Osama was watching her videos when his house in Abbottabad, Pakistan was raided and he was killed during the encounter.

He had hired a special stylist from Mumbai for grooming NTR’s hair style. The stylist is reportedly charging a bomb for this whole project.
