Chiranjeevi eyeing on YSRCP !?

Megastar-turned-politician K Chiranjeevi is reportedly planning to jump in to YSR Congress party. Sources close the the actor are saying he has finally realized the mistake of merging his Praja Rajyam Party with the Congress, which is fast losing hold among the people in the state.
Speaking to erstwhile PRP workers from Ramachandrapuram constituency in Hyderabad, Chiranjeevi said the Congress party can’t even dream of returning to power in 2014, if it continues to adopt the same strategy as it is doing now. He blamed it on the Congress leadership for neglecting the PRP cadres at the ground level and its failure to take them into confidence in the by-elections.
The strategist of YSR Congress Party, YV Subba Reddy is reportedly in touch with Chiranjeevi’s brother-in-law Allu Aravind inviting Chiranjeevi in to the party.

It looks like megastar-turned-politician K Chiranjeevi has learnt the tricks of the trade in politics. He has understood that he has to strike the iron when it is hot.
Apparently realizing that some Congress leaders are trying to pass the buck on him for the party’s debacle in the recent by-elections, Chiranjeevi has decided to strike back and remind the party leaders that the Kiran Kumar Reddy government is surviving at his mercy and if he is made the scapegoat, he has the capacity to pull down the government any moment.
That is why Chiranjeevi revived the Praja Rajyam Party ghost at the Ramachandrapuram meeting on Friday. All through his speech, he specifically mentioned the name of the erstwhile PRP, though it is no more in existence. He deliberately separated PRP from the Congress saying the party could win at least two seats in the by-elections only because of the PRP leaders and cadres and if they continued to be neglected, the Congress party has no future. He even went to the extent of saying that had he been given the power, he would have shown the difference.
In a way, Chiranjeevi appeared to be blackmailing the Congress high command. By seeking due share for the PRP leaders in the nominated posts and due recognition for the party MLAs, he gave a hint to the high command that he should be taken into the central cabinet. He sent a message that the erstwhile PRP legislators were still with him and if there is any injustice to him or them, he can withdraw from the Congress. What a strategy?

Mahesh Babu Wins Best Actor at SIIMA Awards

Mahesh Babu has won the Best Actor Award for his fantastic performance in ‘Dookudu’ at SIIMA Awards 2012, Dubai. Apparently, along with Best Actor, Dookudu also bagged Best Actor in Supporting Role for Prakash Raj, Best Lyricist for Ramajogayya Shastry, Best Music Director for S.S.Taman, Best Playback Singer Rahul Nambiar, Best Comedian Brahmanandam, Best Movie for  Dookudu and ofcourse Seenu Vailta for Best Director as well.
Mahesh Bubu’s performance in the film has been widely received and the movie has become one of the biggest hits of Telugu cinema. Dookudu is Mahesh Babu’s first movie to cross the magical 50 crore mark in Tollywood.

Salman Khan injured in Minor Blast on Dabangg-2 Sets !

A minor blast occurred on the sets of ‘Dabangg 2’ injuring star hero Salman Khan and three others. It took place at Mehboob studios in Mumbai suburbs.
A short circuit in Mehboob Studios has resulted in a minor blast on the sets of ‘Dabangg2’, injuring Salman Khan and other stuntmen. This occurred when a fighting scene is being canned on the superstar of Bollywood. Including Salman, all the four are rushed to Lilavati Hospital. Salman’s brother and producer Arbaaz Khan rushed to hospital to ensure proper treatment is given to his crew.
Sources revealed that Salman is fine with minor injuries but a stuntman suffered major blow and is in ICU at the moment.

Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh Creates New Record in Nizam

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh that has hit the big-screens on 11th May, 2012 turned out to be a blockbuster movie and the film is successfully running towards the 50 days.
Meanwhile, it has collected a massive figure of 19.50 Crores in the Nizam area occupying the second place after Magadheera [22 Crores] and surpassing Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu [16 Crores]. Gabbar Singh is running in 19 theaters in Hyderabad City which is turning out to be a new record for the 50 days.
This is Pawan Kalyan’s biggest hit after Kushi which was released a decade ago. Though Jalsa turned out to be a hit, it wasn’t in the range of Kushi or Gabbar Singh. Director Harish Shankar reached the top league directors with Gabbar Singh while Shruti Haasan earned the deserving it.

Director Shankar is wielding the megaphone for a big budget film with Vikram and Samantha in the lead roles. The film is titled as ‘I’ in Tamil while the Telugu version title is yet to be announced.
Vikram and director Shankar had teamed up for super hit film Aparichitudu six years back produced by Aascar Ravichandran and now, the trio teaming up once again with this new film. While Santhanam is roped in for comic role in the film, Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi will do an important role.
PC Sreeram will handle the cinematography and AR Rahman, who is roped in to score the music has already composed a song for the film. Action sequences will be handled by Peter Ming of China and Anal Arasu. The regular shooting will commence from July 15, 2012.

Anushka set to fly to Georgia for Selvaraghavan’s film

Actress Anushka, who is playing the lead in Selvaraghavan’s Irandam Ulagam with Arya, will soon be joining the unit in Georgia, where they are currently shooting.
A source says, “Director Selva and Arya have been shooting in Georgia for a while now, canning certain important scenes. Anushka, who last shot with them in Goa, and for some patchwork in the city, joined them two days back. Even Gitanjali, Selva’s wife, has left for the location.
They will be in Georgia till the end of this month.
With just few more scenes left to be finished, we hear the audio release is being planned on for the end of next month.
Touted to be a romantic fantasy, the film has been shot in some interesting locations in Goa, Hyderabad, Rio de Janeiro and Brazilian forests. Selva had even commented that the post-production work on the film is turning out to be demanding as there’s a lot of CG work involved.

Hrithik’s Agneepath Records Highest TRP on Indian Television

Hrithik Roshan’s last release Agneepath broke the first day collection record with approximately 23 crore at the Indian Box Office. And it has also become the first film to join the league of 100 crore movie. The mania does not just stop at this point. Rebel Movie satellite rights sold for 5.75Crores !

Prabhas’ upcoming action entertainer “Rebel” is back in the news for right reasons. After hitting the headlines for lead actress and music director walking away from the project, “Rebel” has finally received the required fillip towards the end of its shooting.
Sources close to the film unit says that the satellite of the film has been sold for 5.75 crores to a leading regional channel. “Rebel”, which is into final leg of production, has already started making good business in various areas and the fresh satellite reports give the much needed boost to the makers.
Prabhas will be romancing Tamanna and Deeksha Seth in this film, which is currently progressing in Bangkok. Raghava Lawrence is directing and also composing the music. “Rebel” audio release is expected to be in July while the movie is slated for August release.

None of them are in fact proved real as Courts have written them off as baseless. Lokesh has now kept the list of all those petitions online and highlighted how YSR and troupe failed against his father.
‘Why the 24 inquires ordered by YSR against our leader (Naidu) and 4 against our company Heritage did proved zero’, questions Lokesh. As a successor and politician, a bit of aggressiveness is needed and this guy stands up to mark.

Kola Made AP People Fools For Second Time!

Talking about numbers and international banks, fooling people with falsified reports and tumbling officials with exaggerated dialogues is not new to this white-collar trickster. He is none other Kola Krishnamohan, who is taking potshots at TDP chief Naidu after 13 years with false accusations.
Way back in 98, Kola had cheated newspapers, national banks and other institutions by claiming that he has won million dollar ‘Euro Lottery’. A decade after his conviction, he is now back on TVs claiming that TDP Chief, Ex-CM Chandrababu has took crores from him through overseas accounts.
Firstly, there are no relatives to Chandrababu in his hometown Naravaripalli with the names mentioned by Kola. Secondly, all those bank accounts in Mauritius and Switzerland which are alleged by Kola as Naidu’s benami accounts have turned fake. The numbers and codes mentioned by Kola are bearing same digits and are not matching to the account numbers of Bank of Mauritius and Indian Ocean International Bank. Some of the banks do not at all exist in 2000 when Kola is said to have deposited money.
Thirdly, Kola’s allegation that Naidu is having more than 15,000 Crore rupees in international banks during 1999 too turned false. Banking experts say that in 99, the total deposits of those said banks are not more than 1000 crores and some banks are not even existent.
TDP sleuths are saying that Kola Krishnamohan is accusing Chandrababu only with the pretext of diverting the scams of a tainted politician in state who is counting bars now. Some say that Kola is successful in fooling AP people for second time with these ‘cheap’ tricks.

Vasireddy Chandrabala hails from Guntur and has finished her studies in Nagarjuna Sagar and Srisailam with her father being an irrigation department employee. Even JD’s father is also an irrigation employee and that is how they happen to be neighbours and classmates for years. Chandrabala is married to a real estate businessman and has two daughters. Both are married and one of them lives abroad and one in another Indian state.

The first edition of South Indian International Movie Awards has brought some glory to two of the happening Tollywoodians – Nani and Rana Daggubati. With Veppam (Sega), Nani stole the show in Tamil Nadu. As he awaits the release of Naan Ee (Eega), he has won an award at SIIMA. The category in which he has won the award is ‘Rising Star of South Indian Cinema’.
Rana’s Bollywood (read Dum Maro Dum, Department) and Hollywood (Aditya Bhattacharya’s film) endeavours and the publicity drive (helped in no small measure by the media) have helped him bag the ‘Youth Icon of South Indian Cinema’ award. Claps!
The two actors have got well-deserved awards. It may be noted that Nani is definitely a rising star. If Naan Ee becomes a hit, he will have received a great fillip to his career. As of Rana, the actor has shown resoluteness and imagination by trying to make his mark in more than one industry. That he has his eyes cast on Kollywood makes him an icon, at least for his contemporaries.
