Possibly resigned to the fate that he might have to stay in jail longer than he expected initially, the YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is mainly surviving on at the Chanchalguda central jail on vegetable juices.
As a special class prisoner Jagan is entitled to non-vegetarian diet every day. But he is keen on vegetable juices, as his legal fight appears to be long drawn, say sources.
Jagan is also doing stretching exercises to keep himself fit. As the prison does not have a gym, Jagan is keeping himself fit through vigorous physical exercises like jogging, to keep himself healthy.
Reports quoting prison sources said that Jagan has been devoting at least a couple of hours reading Bible, apart from reading newspapers and books that his family members bring during their visits.
There is also a shuttle court in the prison. As there are ten more VIP prisoners in the old hospital block where they are all lodged Jagan has been having brief interactions with them and playing shuttle. But prisons sources say that he is mostly spending his time reading books.
