Do not read too much between the lines. We are talking about the TV telecast of Balayya’s Sri Rama Rajyam and Mahesh’s Dookudu. Both of them are scheduled to telecast on Sunday in Zee Telugu and MAA TV respectively. Maa TV had aggressively campaigned about the movie telecast for 1 week but backed off at the last movie sensing the danger of losing TRPS. MAA Tv had reportedly got reports that audience are interested in watching Sri Rama Rajyam than Dookudu. They might be in the danger of losing so much of TRPs which will not be good in MAA prospect as Dookudu is being aired on the TV for the first time. Also they have invested so much of money on Dookudu TV rights.

Also the advertisersof the telecast had reportedly threatened to back off as they could not get the required mileage for the amount they invest.So, MAA TV had no other option but to postpone the telecast to June 3rd and had instead telecasted Mahesh Babu’s Pokiri on Sunday.

Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh broke the all time first week record by amassing a mammoth total of Rs. 35 crores+ (approximate) share in the first week itself. Despite breaking all the existing records, Gabbar Singh numbers were not given to the press and media. Producer Ganesh simply stated that their film created a new record and didn’t announce the collection figures officially for ‘obvious’ reasons.

When a film breaks a record officially, what is the big deal in publishing the figures, unless the producer wants to cheat by paying less tax? Bandla Ganesh said that he learnt of being honest after meeting Pawan Kalyan. Then what happened to his honesty now? Isn’t it a crime to hide the genuinely earned income?

Pawan Kalyan fans have been complaining that Ganesh with the help of distributors is deliberately filling in less amounts in DCR to avoid taxes. Pawan Kalyan usually stays away from collections and records and even now he is not tracking the figures. Ganesh openly stated that he don’t want to announce the record amount for certain reasons. This is raising doubts over his loyalty towards Pawan Kalyan and his fans.

Film industry runs behind success and luck. Right now Telugu cinema has been facing shortage of heroines and hence an actress that scores a hit becomes red hot in business. Tamanna and Shruti Hassan turned out to be the most wanted heroines in Tollywood now. Racha and Gabbar Singh have struck gold and made Tamanna and Shruti hot in no time.

Tamanna has been busy before Racha, but without a notable blockbuster to her credit. With Racha her demand further increased and so is her paycheck. Shruti Hassan’s unlucky days are finally over with Gabbar Singh and filmmakers started to believe that she can bring luck to them. Perhaps this should give you a better idea. The sensuous Brahmin beauty Vidya Balan has reportedly been roped in for a brand endorsement. This is for an apparel brand in Kerala. It is heard that Vidya took part in the shooting for just two days and she has been paid a whopping Rs 30 lakhs for that.

Ironically, the market value experts say that given the demand that Vidya has, thirty lakhs is actually peanuts and she can get atleast five times more than that. Maybe because she has her roots in Kerala or some other obligation Vidya has done it. But how long would it take for you to earn Rs 30 lakhs folks?

Mega Power Star Ram Charan is shaking legs in Dubai in his upcoming movie directed by VV Vinayak. Thaman had composed a racy number for this purpose. On the other side, the arrangements of his wedding with Upasana Kamineni are going on at full swing. Cards are being printed and distributed to the dear and near of Chiranjeevi.The grand event will take place on June 16th in Hyderabad.

Kajal Agarwal is playing the love interest of Charan in the movie. DVV Danayya is producing the movie under Universal movies banner. Thaman is rendering the music.

‘King’ Akkineni Nagarjuna’s big budget socio fantasy drama ‘Damarukam’ is finally back on track. The movie was earlier put on hold due to the differences between Nagarjuna and the producers. Finally, the issue is sorted out and is gearing up for release in the second week of July. Currently, Nagarjuna is dubbing for the movie. On the other side, graphics work is going on at full swing. ‘Damarukam’ has some extensive CGI and special effects involved and that is said to be the highlight of the movie.

Srinivasa Reddy has directed this movie while Dr. Venkat of R.R.Movie Makers is the producer. The movie has been made with a big budget which is said to be in the region of more than 30 Crores. Anushka is the female lead opposite Nagarjuna in this movie.

The shooting part of Manchu Manoj’s ‘Uu kodathara Ulikki Padathara’ is now complete. Natasimha Balakrishna is acting in an important role in this movie and the movie is in the last phase of production.The audio release of the movie will take place towards the end of the month and movie will hit the screens in late June.

Deekasha Seth will be seen romancing Manoj in this film. Dr Brahmanandam, Sunil, Sai Kumar, Prabu are other casting. Sekhar Raja is debuting as director with this film. Bobo Sasi is providing tunes for the film while Bollywood musical duos Salim-Sulaiman are scoring background music. Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna will also seen in a special role in this movie.

‘Uu kodathara Ulikki Padatara’ will have a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil. Sekhar Raja is debuting as director with this film. This experimental movie is presented by Padmasri Mohan Babu under the banner Manchu Entertainments produced by Lakshmi Prasanna.

Gone are the days when Prakash Raj, Mukesh Rushi, Shayaji Shinde are the only actors to play baddies in Telugu movies but now all of them are facing stiff competition from Abhimanyu Singh. Abhimanyu made a sensational debut with excellent performance as Bukka Reddy in Rakta Charitra. Several producers are trying to rope in Abhimanyu for villain roles to replace the likes of Prakash Raj, Mukesh Rushi, Shayaji Shinde and others.

His recent performance in Gabbar Singh and Department had scored good marks Its time for others to be watchful.

There needs no explanation about the connection of Botsa with Bandla Ganesh though no one acknowledges it. Now, Film Industry is cuckooing that the Congress MLA is the actual person behind ‘Gabbar Singh’ collections.

Even in its second week, Powerstar’s powerful movie has not lost its vigour and stamina to ring the cash registers. But, producer Ganesh made it clear that he will not reveal data about the collection figures of this movie. Though media is busy doing the guessing game, Ganesh is not confirming any record associated with this movie. Indeed, Botsa is said to be forcing him to not reveal any single number associated with this latest blockbuster of Pawan Kalyan. Revelations about the business made by ‘Gabbar Singh’ might force IT officials to make a surprise visit to Ganesh’s house and this is not advisable at the moment. Though Botsa can handle all these attacks behind the curtains, a leak of the matter to opposition parties will create a crater for Congress in by-polls.

Trade pundits are in-fact confirming this version. ‘Films that made no real business will promote their success with fake reports. But a true hit like GS is not doing the collection-advertising because of some strong reason’, a distributor stated. Some say that talking about records is not Pawan’s cup of tea and he is advising Ganesh not to do such cheap publicity for his movie.

Speaking about some of the top league directors of Tollywood the name of Boyapati Srinu stands tall. Till recently, he was also compared to tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli by maintaining hundred percent hits. However, the recent venture ‘Dammu’ failed to reach the expectations of the audience.

However, the tough minded Boyapati has not given up. It is heard that he is now gearing up for his new project and has reportedly vowed that he would create a tsunami at the box office. The chances are high that Boyapati would be teaming up with prince Mahesh Babu for his new project.

So, whenever a big film is ready for release, the smaller ones have to wait for the tide to pass away or safely hide aside and strike when the coast is clear. When too many big films are lined up for release, it will be torturous for the small films to be in ‘waiting’ for so long.

Right now Ram’s Endukante Premanta is suffering a lot due to a series of big films releasing with a gap of a fortnight or less. This film was complete long back and is waiting for the right time to catch the attention of audience. However, Gabbar Singh and Eega have pushed it to third week of June for the moment.

Summer advantage is completely lost and Endukante Premanta should be very good to bring audiences to the theaters after being thoroughly entertained by so many biggies. Endukante Premanta is not a small film, but when compared to the likes of Gabbar, Dammu and Eega, it is a tiny film it has turned out to be the kabaddi zone for all these big films.

It is high time for Raviteja to prove his caliber yet again. Why because people have started to take him lightly of late. They are looking at him like a flop star on the brink of his career. Therefore, heroines are choosing others films over Raviteja’s movies if a clash is inevitable. Recently Amala Paul walked out of Raviteja’s Sir Vastharu film.

Amala chose Ram Charan’s film over Raviteja ‘Sir’ and said sorry to the makers. When the director and producer are in search for a suitable replacement, the main female lead in this film, Trisha too cited dates problems and left the project. She took up a Tamil film with Jeeva in this place. Trisha’s career is not shining in Tollywood in the recent times.

Trisha needs to be a part of Raviteja’s film to keep her hopes alive in Tollywood. But she didn’t care about the consequences and walked out of it. Raviteja’s recent track record should be one of the reasons for heroines to think twice about pairing up with him. Time has come for Raviteja to sound massive Daruvu and make everyone regret for missing a great chance.

These are the days Telugu girls are slowly proving their mettle and commercial strength by rocking in few happening movies. But, this dove eyed beauty got something else from the draw.

Telugu beauty Madhushalini got her much hyped flick ‘Department’ released at least and the result ultimately shocked her. ‘Rogue-Methodology’ as defined by its maker RGV failed to tickle any single sense of audience. Keeping the film’s dud story aside, our hot chick has nothing much to do in this confusing and senseless product.

Insiders are saying that Madhushalini is maintaining smile on her lips but the actual feelings inside her are exactly opposite. The sexy siren is said to be crying inconsolably for being part of this disastrous movie. Earlier she had publicized that her fate will change after ‘Department’ hits theatres and avoided few good offers.
