I&B Ministry makes Dirty Picture telecast dirty

The ministry for Information and Broadcasting had spoiled the people’s plans of watching The Dirty Picture on TV on Sunday. The ministry had ruled out the telecast of the movie in the afternoon and had urged the channel owners to telecast it after 11 PM. The makers had made eight-and-a-half minute long cuts including 36 voluntary and 26 compulsory cuts but could not convince the ministry to allow its telecast.
Interestingly, CBFC had issued U/A certificate for the movie during the release and the paradox is that the movie had own three National awards.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s latest movie ‘Daruvu’ is gearing up for release in the month of May. The makers have intensified the publicity of the movie before the release but mysteriously the lead man Ravi Teja had skipped the audio release function of the movie recently held in Hyderabad. He also had not allocated dates for the promotion of the movie. The makers hurt by Ravi Teja’s behavior are using the lead actress Tapsee as their trump card in movie promotion.
Ravi Teja who is currently in Bangkok for the shooting of Devudu Chesina Manushulu will be back to Hyderabad today. Lets see if he allocates time for the movie promotion.

Finally, Charan has decided to clarify this to one and all. He used the social media to send this message the film lovers and the media. “My dad named me Ram Charan not Ram Charan Tej. So I feel good when people call me just “Ram Charan”. I also request the media to note this,” he wrote on his twitter page.
Now the question is why didn’t the actor object when the director’s used Ram Charan Teja in the title cards of his film. Times change, people change, tastes change! So everybody, from now onwards Mega Powerstar is just Ram Charan, not Ram Charan Tej!

Pawan Kalyan had suffered severe back pain during the shoot of Bangaram and since then his dance movements had slowed up considerably. He put in a big effort in his last movie for his fans in the famous ‘Paparayudu’ song. And now he is doing the same for his latest movie, Gabbar Singh. The song shoot of the movie is going on in Ramoji Film City. Pawan had suffered severe back pain on the sets. Puri Jagannadh is one director who guarantees the producers good output in less number of working days. He bid farewell to the days in which Mahesh use to take more than an year to complete a movie by completing business in just 74 days. And now he is going to break his own record by completing his latest movie Devudu Chesina Manushulu in about 50 days. The movie which started in March is now complete and is gearing up for a June release.
Ravi Teja and Ileana are playing the main lead. BVSN Prasad and Reliance Entertainments are producing this movie jointly. Raghu Kunche has scored the music while Chota K. Naidu is handling the lens.

Pawan Kalyan joins the Rs. 10 crore club with GS !

Power star Pawan Kalyan joins the Rs. 10 crore club with Gabbar Singh. Pawan is always among the top paid actors list of Tollywood. However, he has never got as big as this much for any of his previous films. Pawan Kalyan hasn’t taken remuneration for this film. He took fifty percent partnership instead.
Gabbar Singh was initially started on Pawan Kalyan’s own banner. But later Ganesh Bandla took over as Pawan asked him to! However, Pawan kept the fifty percent stake in the film and as per industry sources the film fetched more than 32 crore rupees from theatrical distribution rights. Other rights took the overall tally to Rs. 38 crore plus.
Gabbar Singh is made on a budget of Rs. 15 to 18 crores as Pawan Kalyan didn’t take remuneration for the film. Which means the net profit itself stands over 20 crore rupees. As per the fifty percent agreement Pawan gets a minimum of Rs. 10 crore on Gabbar Singh. If the film turns a blockbuster and does excellent theatrical business, he will get a good share of the profits too.

Chiru has realized that it is more comfortable in acting in films rather than being in politics.He told the media in Tirupati on Sunday that it is easy to communicate with the people through films than by undertaking “yatras” and conducting road shows for months and years together.
“Cinema is a powerful medium than politics. We can take our message among the cadres through films more easily,” he said.
Apparently, the Congress high command has told Chiranjeevi not to indulge in politics too much, but to be happy with the Rajya Sabha seat and focus his attention on acting on message-oriented films.
“AICC observer Vayalar Ravi told me to act in message oriented films. He suggested that I should use the cinema media effectively to come closer to the people. If the story and script is ready, I will definitely make a re-entry in films with 150th film,” he said.

There were reports in a section of media that Chiranjeevi might replace N Kiran Kumar Reddy as chief minister after the by-elections and that it was precisely the reason why AICC observer Vayalar Ravi had gone to his residence for the breakfast meeting recently.
However, Chiranjeevi has got the hints from the statements of other observer Krishnamurthy and Ghulam Nabi Azad that there was no such move by the high command. Even if Kiran has to replaced, it would be done by a Telangana leader.
“I have no hopes of becoming the CM and I am happy with what I am. And as far as my information goes, Kiran will continue to be the chief minister even after the by-elections, as the Congress party is going to win considerable number of seats. And there are absolutely no differences among the party leaders,” he said.
