Mumbai, Oct 3 (IANS) Actress Tamannaah Bhatia wished everyone “happy Navratri” on Thursday and even shared a glimpse from her upcoming film “Odela 2”.Tamannah took to her Instagram stories, where she shared a picture of herself praying in front of the temple dressed in her “Odela 2” costume.

She wrote: “Happy Navratri #Odela2.”

This year, Shardiya Navratri dedicated to Goddess Durga commenced on October 3 and will conclude with the celebration of Dussehra on October 12.It was in March when Tamannaah shared the first look from her upcoming film “Odela”, a supernatural thriller film. On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri in March, Tamannaah shared the first look from the film on X (formerly called Twitter).

In the image, the actress could be seen in maroon and orange clothes walking with a damru in one hand and a stick on the other. She also had a Shiva “tilak” on her forehead.The poster had “first time ever Tamannaah Bhatia as Shiva Shakthi”, hinting that she might play a devotee of Lord Shiva.

‘Odela 2’ is the sequel to the 2022 digital release ‘Odela Railway Station’, which was based on the real incidents that happened in Odela, India.Directed by Ashok Teja, “Odela 2” also stars Hebah Patel, Vasishta N. Simha in lead roles, alongside Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamsi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy, Bhupal and Pooja Reddy.

As a fan who closely observed Samantha Madam every day for 365 days, I can say that she is a blessing to the Telugu film industry. Not just as an artist, but also as a person, she felt like a sister in our home.”

He affirmed that it was so bloody unfortunate to hear such disgusting comments especially from a person in a respectable position. “This shows that power and position can’t buy you dignity,” said he.

Mumbai, Oct 2 (IANS) Playback singer Jonita Gandhi, who has teamed up with singer Akshath Acharya for the reprised version of the viral hit song ‘Nadaaniyan’, has shared her opinion on the use of minimalism in art.

Jonita feels that sometimes a piece of art can convey many things by keeping it simple.

She told IANS, “Sometimes less is more and I think the expression of the song really talks a lot, in spite of a simple structure, we think the essence is captured and really works as the listeners are able to make this song their own”.

When asked what the song meant to her as an artiste, Jonita, who has worked across several languages of India, told IANS, “I think ‘Nadaaniyan’ is known for its simplicity and relatability – the song feels like an emotion. So when Akshath and I sat to work on a special duet version, we kept that in mind. It was important to give the audience a fresh take without taking away what we all already know and love about the song”.

She further mentioned, “We had a really seamless time working on this female perspective for the song and I’m happy to see that people are connecting so well with it”.

Akshath Acharya had earlier reflected on the new version. He earlier said, “Jonita’s voice has added an entirely new dimension to ‘Nadaaniyan’. The response we’ve received has far exceeded our expectations. Introducing a female perspective not only enhances the song but also brings a touch of magic to it.
