‘Godfather’ Director Gets Another Golden Chance With Chiru!
After the debacle of ‘Bholaa Shankar’, Megastar Chiranjeevi decided to leave his regular commercial style and opted for something unique with ‘Vishwambhara’. This is a fantasy drama laced with all kinds of emotions.
It is being made on a grand budget under UV Creations banner and Vassishtha is the director. There are huge expectations on this flick which is hitting the screens on 10th January 2025. Keeping it aside, there is a lot of talk regarding Chiru’s next project after ‘Vishwambhara’. While fans are already worried about a young director handling such a big project, the news about his upcoming film is putting them in so much stress.
As per sources, he is keen on working with ‘Godfather’ director Mohan Raja once again and BVS Ravi is going to pen the story this time. As we know, ‘Godfather’ is a remake of Malayalam film ‘Lucifer’. The movie did not get the desired result despite bringing Salman Khan on board for a special role. But it looks like director Mohan Raja impressed Megastar a lot.
He is the one who made ‘Thani Oruvan’ in Tamil which was later remade as ‘Dhruva’ in Telugu by Ram Charan. Mohan Raja is majorly known for remaking Telugu films in Tamil and scoring hits.
Working with him again is making Mega fans worried. There is a huge list of directors who wanted to work with Chiru after Vassishta’s movie. It includes Harish Shankar, Anil Ravipudi, Maruthi, Tamil director Hari, Kalyan Krishna, Nakkina Trinadh Rao, Anudeep and others. Fans feel that any of these directors would have done justice to Chiru’s image but the legendary actor is opting for Mohan Raja as per reports. We need to see how things turn out when the project is officially announced.
After Kannada & Telugu, Neel To Work With A Tamil Hero!
Star director Prasanth Neel took the whole nation by storm with ‘KGF’ has scored a super hit in December through ‘Salaar’. The action saga he made with Rocking Star Yash was divided into two parts. While the first part came in 2018, the second chapter arrived in 2022. Coming to ‘Salaar’, the film was in the making for over two years. There are high expectations on ‘Salaar 2’ and Neel is busy completing the script.
On the other hand, he announced a project with Young Tiger NTR as well and we need to see when this film starts and NTR himself is busy with two parts of ‘Devara’ and ‘War 2’ at the moment. The latest we hear is that Prasanth Neel is venturing into Kollywood too. He worked with stars in Telugu and Kannada till date.
Social media is hinting that a possible collaboration between Neel and Tamil star hero Ajith might be on the cards. Apparently, he is trying to work with Ajith in two films and one of them would kickstart in 2025. We need to see if Ajith becomes a part of Neel Cinematic Universe or if their collaboration will be completely separate.
Neel is already labeled as a mass director with a template storytelling and a particular visual tone. We need to see if he changes his path in the coming days or sticks to his guns. Right now, Ajith is working on ‘Vida Muyarchi’.

Popular anchor Anasuya Bharadwaj did many shows on television before foraying into films. She did a lot of impressive roles in movies like ‘Kshanam’, ‘Rangasthalam’ and many more over the years. Known for her glamour, Anasuya often stuns you with delightful photoshoots and trendy outfits on the small screen and special songs on the big screen.
She recently shared with everyone that she is going to do a dance number with Pawan Kalyan. But she did not clarify on what film it is. She appeared on a TV show recently and said, “For the first time on television ever, I am going to reveal this. I am very proud to say I performed a beautiful dance number with Pawan sir. The song will be a rage on screen.”
As we know, the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh has started a lot of films before the elections. The shooting of these films is yet to begin. Pawan is doing ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ which is expected to release in December. He is also doing a gangster drama titled ‘OG’ under Sujeeth’s direction. There are high expectations on it. On the other hand, he is also supposed to work on ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ under Harish Shankar’s direction.
Anasuya did not reveal which film she is going to be a part of. There is a speculation that she already shot for the song a few months back. Some say that it might be for ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ while some claim that it is in ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’. We need to wait till we find more details. A few netizens however are pointing out the fact that the same Anasuya rejected a song in Pawan’s blockbuster ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ a decade ago.

Versatile actor Dhanush is one of the best actors in Indian cinema right now. The multiple National Award winner has put his life and soul into ‘Raayan’ which is releasing on 26th July. It is his landmark 50th film and Dhanush himself wrote and directed it. Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman composed the music for this flick while Sun Pictures bankrolled it.
Happening actor SJ Suryah did a key role in this movie along with noted actors like Sundeep Kishan and Aparna Balakrishna playing important characters. With such big names attached to this movie, one would expect huge hype all over it. But it is not the case for ‘Raayan’ as there is zero buzz for this high-budget film in the Telugu states. The advance bookings are quite bad and even the trailer failed to connect with the audience.
The lack of promotions is the main reason for this. ‘Raayan’ team organized a pre-release event in Hyderabad recently and did not do anything else. The trailer failed to generate any hype and it has a lot of Tamil flavour too. Dhanush has a very good market in Telugu states with movies like ‘Sir’, ‘Thiru’ and others doing very good business.
The ‘Maari’ and ‘VIP’ franchises made him highly popular and movies like ‘Asuran’ and ‘Karnan’ were watched by many on OTT platforms. When such a big hero’s film is coming out in theatres, people expect a lot of buzz and heavy promotions. But ‘Raayan’ is not able to grab the attention of the public. Things may change if it gets a positive word of mouth. Let us see what happens.
