Dhanush To Play Legendary Music Composer’s Role?
Supremely talented hero Dhanush is known for picking up versatile storylines. He currently has ‘Vada Chennai 2’, Sekhar Kammula’s project, the sequel of ‘Yuganiki Okkadu’, ‘Tere Ishq Main’ and others. The teaser of his next release ‘Captain Miller’ got a superb response and the movie is releasing in December.
Dhanush is a versatile actor who can mold himself into any given role. He has the ability to showcase a wide range of expressions. Interestingly, Dhanush did not do a biopic till date. But his name is linked to a biopic of the legendary Tamil personality. He is none other than Musical Maestro Ilayaraja who gave music for over 1400 movies. His music had a huge impact on 2-3 generations which explains his greatness.
If things go as planned, the project may take off in 2024 and release in 2025. Connekkt Media will be bankrolling this project as per reports and the director’s name is yet to be revealed. Also, the hero, legendary music composer or the production company did not make any official announcement.
Ilayaraja is the personification of music and it will be a huge task to act in his biopic. As per reports, director Balki wants to make this biopic. The official news is yet to be revealed and let us wait and see who composes music for Ilayaraja’s biopic. Dhanush and Balki worked once before on an interesting Hindi flick titled ‘Shamitabh’ where a deaf Dhanush uses drunk Amitabh’s voice to become a superstar. Chandramukhi 2′ was released on 28th September and the film was disliked by not just the regular audience but the fans as well. They bashed director P Vasu for making the original film once again but with a different cast. The movie came out on Netflix within a few weeks of its theatrical release and it explains how big of a failure it turned out to be.
This horror drama featuring Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut in the main roles is being heavily trolled on the internet. It is safe to say that no other film in 2023 has received this much of criticism and trolls. Especially, Kangana’s clips from this movie are doing rounds on social media and the trolling is quite heavy.
‘Chandramukhi 2’ once again proves that filmmakers should be very careful while making sequels of blockbuster movies. Ignorance and lethargic output makes you the subject of all kinds of jokes. All the arrangements for Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi’s grand wedding are done and the celebrations began last night with a suave cocktail party. It is the haldi function and pool party today and the marriage is going to take place on 1st November. Can Tharun Repeat His Magic For The Third Time?
After giving a stellar entry as a director with ‘Pelli Choopulu’, Tharun Bhascker became a favorite for the youth instantly. He gave Vijay Deverakonda his first hit as a hero and the young director won the National Award for his dialogues in this film. He made ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’ in 2018 with a completely new cast once again and the film gained a cult status among the youth that they are asking for a sequel for a long time. The re-release of this film was met with a terrific response.
He took around five years to make ‘Keedaa Cola’ which is hitting the screens on 3rd November. While his first two movies are a rom-com and a buddy flick, this is a crime comedy and the trailer promises a lot of fun and chaos. Though there are some recognizable faces, Tharun Bhasckar did not take any big stars in his movie once again barring Brahmanandam who is playing a key role. Tharun himself is playing an important role and he sounded very confident during the pre-release event.
The censor board has given ‘U/A’ certificate and ‘Keedaa Cola’ is arriving with a very crisp runtime of just 120 minutes. While the buzz is positive and the team looks self-assured, it is to be seen whether Tharun manages to showcase his magic for a third time and score a hattrick or not.
It is being produced by K.Vivek Sudhanshu, Saikrishna Gadwal, Srinivas Kaushik Nanduri, Sripad Nandiraj, and Upendra Varma under ‘VG Sainma’ banner. The cast includes Chaitanya Rao Madadi, Raghu Ram, Ravindra Vijay, Jeevan Kumar, Vishnu, and Rag Mayur. Upendra Varma is the editor and Ashish Teja Pulala is the art director. Aaron is the cinematographer while Vivek Sagar composed the music.
