After giving a stellar entry as a director with ‘Pelli Choopulu’, Tharun Bhascker became a favorite for the youth instantly. He gave Vijay Deverakonda his first hit as a hero and the young director won the National Award for his dialogues in this film. He made ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’ in 2018 with a completely new cast once again and the film gained a cult status among the youth that they are asking for a sequel for a long time. The re-release of this film was met with a terrific response.
He took around five years to make ‘Keedaa Cola’ which is hitting the screens on 3rd November. While his first two movies are a rom-com and a buddy flick, this is a crime comedy and the trailer promises a lot of fun and chaos. Though there are some recognizable faces, Tharun Bhasckar did not take any big stars in his movie once again barring Brahmanandam who is playing a key role. Tharun himself is playing an important role and he sounded very confident during the pre-release event.
The censor board has given ‘U/A’ certificate and ‘Keedaa Cola’ is arriving with a very crisp runtime of just 120 minutes. While the buzz is positive and the team looks self-assured, it is to be seen whether Tharun manages to showcase his magic for a third time and score a hattrick or not.
It is being produced by K.Vivek Sudhanshu, Saikrishna Gadwal, Srinivas Kaushik Nanduri, Sripad Nandiraj, and Upendra Varma under ‘VG Sainma’ banner. The cast includes Chaitanya Rao Madadi, Raghu Ram, Ravindra Vijay, Jeevan Kumar, Vishnu, and Rag Mayur. Upendra Varma is the editor and Ashish Teja Pulala is the art director. Aaron is the cinematographer while Vivek Sagar composed the music.
