It has been several weeks long celebrations for Mega family. Megastar’s younger daughter Srija’s marriage kept the entire family members busy and the Allu family has played a key role in conducting the pre-wedding and marriage ceremonies in a grand way.

Last night, the Mega family, along with the Allus, have arranged a lavish wedding reception and once again, Allu Arvind and Bunny were quite busy with the formalities at the do. In fact, Srija’s marriage was one of the reasons behind the cancellation of Sarrainodu’s audio launch event.

Sarrainodu is a mass action entertainer and not a musical. So the music album needs enough time to grow on music lovers. With just 3 weeks left for the film’s release and Srija’s marriage taking all their attention and energy, the Allus have decided to go low profile and satisfy the fans with only a success meet in Vizag.

Also, there was no way that Sarrainodu’s audio event could be delayed by a week, since Sardaar’s release is round the corner and the Allu camp might have decided not to hog the limelight during Pawan’s film’s release.

The Allu family’s affinity with the Mega family is well known and this time they even cancelled their own film event for Srija’s marriage, proving that anything for Mega family.

Senior comedian Brahmanandam has been hailed as the Comedy King of Tollywood for several decades. There were numerous occasions where a mere presence of Brahmi was enough to make a film a blockbuster and he literally saved even a handful of star heroes’ films with his hilarious comic antics.

But things came crashing down for the comedy star as writers and directors took his popularity for granted and came up with a series of mediocre roles for Brahmi, which eventually backfired at those films and Brahmi’s stardom. Of late, there were also rumours that Brahmi has been out of work since no  filmmaker is approaching him with offers.

And now, Brahmi shocked everyone by bagging a plum offer. The Comedy King has given as many as 30 call sheets for a Telugu-Kannada bilingual titled Jaguar. The film launches former Karnataka CM Sadananda Gowda’s son Nikhil Gowda as a hero.

Brahmi charges at least 5-7 lakhs per call sheet and his overall remuneration would be no less than Rs. 1.50-1.75 crores from just this film. Now, can one still say Brahmi is out of work?

Mumbai: For almost 16 years now, Kareena Kapoor Khan has been an integral part of the Hindi film industry.

The actress, who has not only given hits but is also known for her critically acclaimed roles, however, says people nowadays don’t show much respect to actors as before.

While the actress appreciates the new generation of filmmaking, she is upset with the promotional trend that is taking a toll on celebrities.

During an interview for her upcoming film “Ki and Ka”, Kareena said: “Earlier, there was respect for the actor but now I don’t see such respect among people.

“Earlier, people used to get desperate to get one glimpse of their favourite actors, but now celebrities themselves put their bathroom pictures and too many weird pictures on social media.”

Interestingly, Kareena is one celebrity among all her peers who is surprisingly absent from social media.

Though the actress currently promoting her upcoming R. Balki film “Ki and Ka”, she thinks promotions are stressful and too much to take on.

Though the “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” actress admits that intensive promotion doesn’t guarantee a film’s success, she is hopeful for “Ki and Ka”.

Kareena thinks the film is entertaining and has a different concept, which was never tried before on Indian celluloid.

“We are not politicians and we are not causing a revolution. We have made an entertaining film and if people see the message then it is fine, if not even that is fine, because it is a story of two people who decide to experiment on their relationship,” said Kareena.

The R. Balki directorial is slated to release on April 1.

It also carried the whole story cooking up with all necessary details of ‘bride-to-be’ and particulars of ‘her family’.

If this is not enough, it wrote how the two families met for a dinner celebrating Baahubali’s win and Prabhas proposed the girl to marry. This is not all. The ‘breaking’ story further says that the couple would get engaged in two weeks and wedding would be held on July 31. Thus it fools all its readers to the hilt.

What’s more funny is that many other news websites started sharing the same story not knowing that it’s April Fool prank. Whatever, the purpose of the media house to fool many is survived.
