Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam is nearing completion. The last schedule of the film will begin from Saturday in Hyderabad. The audio release event of the film is being planned for April 24th. The post production works are also happening simultaneously and the film is being planned for May 6th release as Summer Special.

A new teaser is being planned for Ugadi release. Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu fame Srikanth Addala is wielding megaphone for this film. The movie is touted to be a very clean family entertainer and the makers have casted some real families in the film. Mickey J. Meyer is the music composer.

Samantha, Pranitha and Kajal Aggarwal will be romancing Mahesh Babu in this film which is a family entertainer. The pre-release business of the movie is creating new records. Zee Telugu recently bagged the satellite rights of the film and a sensational offer of 13 Crore was put forth for the movie’s Overseas rights, this is an all time record in Telugu film industry.

April 8 is hardly a week away and Power Star’s fans are highly excited to watch the film with huge expectations. Box-office wise, Sardaar has a tough competition in Brahmotsavam, which will release a month later in May. Both the films will try to edge past each other.

In this scenario, Sardaar Gabbar Singh has already recorded its first major victory against Brahmotsavam. As per the latest buzz, Brahmotsavam’s satellite rights were sold off to Zee Telugu for 11.5 crore. This is less than 1.5 crores which was offered to Sardaar’s satellite rights (13 crores).

On the other hand, Pawan’s Sardaar has to surpass Mahesh’s Srimanthudu’s collections to make the former’s fans happy. And if Sardaar manages to beat Srimanthudu, Mahesh will look to regain his record with Brahmotsavam. Quite an interesting clash of he Titans indeed.

They are planning to price the premiere tickets at whopping $21-25 each. This is the highest for any Telugu movie in Overseas. Buzz is that the movie will undergo censor formalities today. We are said that the makers are submitting the film with out the two songs which were canned in Switzerland recently.

And this is from Director Cheran. Cheran said, “When ‘Autrograph’ movie was released, Pawan watched the movie and he appreciated me. He called me to his home and he stated that he needed to do the remake of the movie. But somehow another producer started the remake with Ravi Teja in lead role.

Pawan felt so bad and he was upset as he missed that movie.” In a way, Pawan fans will not be upset for missing that, as they don’t want their actor to be in that soft role. Cheran is now looking forward to release of ‘Rajadhi Raja’ in Telugu and this movie features, Sharwanand and Nithye Menen in lead roles.

The movie will hit screens on April 1st in Telugu. ‘Sardaar’ is on last leg of shooting and the makers are planning to complete the censor formalities at the earliest. The movie will be a Ugadi treat and it will hit screens on April 8th.
