Ram Pothineni is a dedicated actor. He gives it his all be it in the action sequences, the dance moves, and the film, as an entity. He has taken things to a new level with Skanda.

Ram has revealed that he had put on a whopping 12 Kgs for his role in Skanda. He went through a special training regime and greatly increased his calories intake for the physical attributes he needed for the role.

“When my director Boyapati Sreenu garu told me each punch of mine had to have the effect of a bulldozer, I decided I had to look bulky and befitting. So, it was a conscious effort to put on the extra weight. It was a challenging but rewarding journey” Ram said.

Ram added that working on Skanda has been a great experience and he says that the film will offer knockout experience to the audience. He seemed super confident about the mass blast created by Boyapati on the big screens.

Skanda is now set for its theatrical release on the 28th of September. The film has Ram and Sree Leela in the lead roles while Thaman composes the soundtrack.
