Padma Lakshmi is one of the most popular models yesteryear and TV celebrity now. The model got married to Nobel winning writer Salman Rushdie in 2004 and got divorced in 2007. She now came out revealing those confidential and intimate details that ruined her marriage with Salman in her autobiography book Love, Loss and What we ate’.

The couple met at a party in 1999 at a bash in New York and got married in 2004 after Salman divorced his third wife at the age of 55 and she was then 33. Padma reveals about those misunderstandings between them, when she was trying to possess some own identity though she tried to cope the new life as wife. It turned worse when she could not be there where Salman wanted her to be and he even labelled her as ‘bad investment’.

Life went on when Padma divorced Salman Rushdie in 2007 and met Ted Forstmann, the rich man and chief executive of sports and artist management company IMG. He died in 2011. Now she had a daughter of 6 year old daughter with Adam Dell, a venture capitalist.

Padma Lakshmi’s version and revelations seems to have less impact on her ex-husband Salman,as did not respond on it yet. Salman once said that it was strange for him to get married four times, who actually thinks that marriage is not necessary at all. Salman Rushdie received death threats and a fatwa assassination by a supreme leader of Iran in 1989, for his book ‘The satanic verse’, which evoked mayhem in many Muslim countries.

We have seen Telugu audience talking about Tamil and Hindi films. Some good films of Malayalam like Premam were also talked about here. But for the first time, a Kannada film, Chakravyuha became a talking point with the Telugu audience.

The reason for that is Young Tiger NTR crooning a song for the film. This marks Kanada Singing debut of Tarak. The song, Gelaya Gelaya released last night is going viral on social media. Yesterday, popular Malayali actor, singer and mimicry artiste Kalabhavan Mani passed away at a hospital in Kochi, Kerala. Preliminary reports said that Mani, a heavy alcoholic, died due to liver cirrhosis after being treated for a long time. But here’s a new twist in the tale.

The Kochi police have registered a case of unnatural death in connection with Mani’s death after doctors who treated him in his final moments alerted them that excessive traces of methyl alcohol was noticed in his blood.

Cops also seized the house where Mani reportedly feel sick and was shifted to hospital. Ramakrishnan, Mani’s brother, had reportedly filed a complaint, after which the police began their investigation. Mani passed away even before the cops could record his statement.

Fans and film industry friends paid their last respects to the departed actor. His final rites were performed near his house at his hometown in Chalakkudy today.

Pawan Kalyan has given assurance of doing a movie with many wannabe directors and also with some struggling directors. They have been patiently waiting for the call from Power star, but he is keeping himself busy with other projects.

As protests against his derogatory and sexist comments against women during Savitri audio launch are gaining strength with each passing day, film star and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna has finally apologized to those who are hurt with his comments.

In a statement this evening, Balayya said that he has immense respect towards women and that he had no intentions to disrespect women. Balayya requested everyone not to see his comments in sexist view and reiterated that he treats every woman as his own family member.

Balayya continued saying that he imbibed the virtue of respecting women from his father. Talking about his controversial comments, Balayya said he was only making those remarks in the film’s context. He further extended his women’s day wishes to all his ‘sisters’.
