Lokesh Becomes The Only Director To Achieve This Feat After Shankar!
Lokesh Kanagaraj who turned into a star director in Kollywood just with a few films has earned a huge fanbase. Movies like ‘Khaidi’, ‘Master’ and ‘Vikram’ showcase his potential and he created a separate universe named ‘Lokesh Cinematic Universe’ where his own film characters team up when needed. He is working on ‘Leo’ with Thalapathy Vijay now and it is also a part of LCU.
While ‘Leo’ is expected to hit the screens in October, he officially announced that his next project is going to be with superstar Rajnikanth. Sun Pictures banner has released the announcement poster and it is Rajni’s 171st film. As expected, Rockstar Anirudh Ravichander will be giving the music while Anbariv will be designing the fights. The news made everyone happy and people are excited to see Rajni in a Lokesh Kanagaraj movie.
Interestingly, there are many directors who directed both the legends Kamal and Rajni over the years. Legends like Mani Ratnam, Balachander and commercial specialist KS Ravi Kumar directed them in the past. Shankar was the last director to work with both of them. As we know, he made ‘Indian’ and is making ‘Indian 2’ with Kamal while he directed Rajni three times which include ‘Shivaji’, ‘Robo’ and ‘2.0’. Lokesh becomes the only young director in this generation to direct both the legends. While he delivered a blockbuster with Kamal in the form of ‘Vikram’, we need to see what he makes with Thalaivar.

మంచు విష్ణు టైటిల్ రోల్ లో భారీ బడ్జెట్ తో తెరకెక్కనున్న మూవీ భక్త కన్నప్ప. శ్రీకాళహస్తి నేపథ్యంలో జరిగిన ఒక హిస్టారికల్ కథాంశంతో ఈ సినిమాని తెరకెక్కిస్తున్నారు. హిందీలో హిస్టారికల్ బ్యాక్ డ్రాప్ కథలతో ఎన్నో సీరియల్స్ కి దర్శకత్వం వహించిన ముఖేష్ కుమార్ సింగ్ భక్త కన్నప్ప సినిమాతో టాలీవుడ్ లోకి అడుగుపెడుతున్నారు. ఏకంగా 90 కోట్ల భారీ బడ్జెట్ తో మంచు మోహన్ బాబు సమర్పణలో విష్ణు ఈ చిత్రాన్ని నిర్మిస్తున్నారు.
పాన్ ఇండియా లెవల్ లో ఈ మూవీ తెరకెక్కనుంది. గ్రాండియర్ గా సిల్వర్ స్క్రీన్ పై భక్త కన్నప్పని ఆవిష్కరించడానికి సిద్ధమవుతున్నారు. ఇదిలా ఉంటే ఈ చిత్రంలో యంగ్ రెబల్ స్టార్ ప్రభాస్ మహా శివుడి పాత్రలో కనిపించడానికి ఒకే చెప్పేశాడంట. ఈ న్యూస్ వైరల్ కావడంతో భక్త కన్నప్ప సినిమాపైనే కూడా ఒక్కసారిగా హైప్ పెరిగిపోయింది. ప్రభాస్ ఇప్పటికే ఆదిపురుష్ లో శ్రీరాముడి పాత్రలో కనిపించారు.

మరోపక్క సల్మాన్ ఖాన్ కూడా హిట్లు ఫ్లాపుల మధ్య ఉన్నాడు. షారుఖ్ హిట్ ఫాం తో మిగతా హీరోల ఫ్యాన్స్ కూడా తమ హీరోలు కూడా తిరిగి సక్సెస్ ట్రాక్ ఎక్కాలని కోరుతున్నారు. షారుఖ్ తర్వాత నేషనల్ లెవెల్ లో స్టామినా చూపించే హీరో ఎవరన్నది చూడాలి. అక్షయ్ కుమార్ ప్రస్తుతం ఏడు సినిమాలు సెట్స్ మీద ఉన్నాయి అందులో నాలుగు షూటింగ్ జరుపుకుంటుండగా ఒకటి పోస్ట్ ప్రొడక్షన్ వర్క్ జరుపుకుంటుంది. మిగతా రెండు సినిమాలు ప్రీ ప్రొడక్షన్ లో ఉన్నాయి. లాల్ సింగ్ చద్దా సినిమా తర్వాత ఆమీర్ ఖాన్ సలాం వెంకీ సినిమాలో క్యామియో రోల్ చేశాడు. నెక్స్ట్ సినిమాకు గ్యాప్ తీసుకునే ఆలోచనలో ఉన్నారు ఆమీర్.

‘Lingi Lingi Lingidi’ Lyrical: An Impressive Mass Folk Number!
‘GA2 Pictures’ banner has been on a roll lately. They are coming up with interesting projects and one of them is ‘Kota Bommali PS’. The motion poster and other promotional stuff generated a decent buzz on the movie. As we know, it is a remake of the Malayalam hit movie ‘Nayattu’.
Srikanth Meka is playing the lead role while Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is doing a key role too. Rahul Vijay and Shiva Rajasekhar are also playing the main characters in this movie. The first lyrical titled ‘Lingi Lingi Lingidi’ was released a few hours back and it is quite impressive. It is a fast-paced folk number in Srikakulam accent. ‘Relare’ fame P Raghu has penned the lyrics as well as gave the vocals for this song. Midhun Mukundan gave the music while Vijay Polaki choreographed the number.
It is quite natural and the wedding backdrop helped the song a lot. It shows a lot of threads in the song which includes the love track between the lead couple. Teja Mari is the director while Bunny Vass and Vidya Koppineedi are the producers. Jagadeesh Cheekati is the director of photography while Rajnin Raj and Midhun Mukundan are composing the music. Karthika Srinivas is the editor while Gandi Nadikudikar is the editor. Let us wait and see if the film is as impactful as the original or not.
Teaser On The Way From Upendra’s ‘UI -The Movie’!
Kannada star hero Upendra is popularly known for his out-of-the-box films. He acted in many movies with unique concepts and earned a big fan base in Karnataka and Telugu states. Unlike his on-screen image, he is a very soft-spoken and well-mannered person in real life. But his movies are often crazy and pose a lot of questions to the society. He is now coming up with a film titled ‘UI – The Movie’.
Well-known music label Lahari Music entered into the production business and roped in Upendra as the lead actor. They have teamed up with Venus Entertainments and bankrolled this film which will be readied in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages. When all the filmmakers in the country are busy cutting teasers for their films he strokes a debate through his first BTS update video. He asked why should they watch movies by looking at the teaser or trailer alone.
This snowballed into a lot of debate within the Industry, audiences and his fans. In the latest video, we can see the fans pressuring Upendra a lot and he finally announces that the taser will be released on 18th September which makes everyone very happy. It is going to be a gift to the fans on Upendra’s birthday and the teaser will be unveiled at Urvashi Theatre in Banglore.
Apart from being the writer and director, Upendra is the hero of the movie while Reeshma Nanaiah is the heroine. Nidhi Subbaiah, P Ravi Shankar, Murali Sharma and others play prominent roles in the movie. Ajaneesh Loknath is the music composer while Shiva Kumar who worked on ‘KGF 1 & 2’ is doing to be the art director. HC Venugopal is the cinematographer while G Manoharan and KP Sreekanth are the producers. The release date is yet to be announced.

‘Devara’ Team Ready For Intro Shoot With Saif!
As we know, the team of NTR’s upcoming pan-Indian venture roped in Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan to play the antagonist’s role. His character is named ‘Bhaira’ and his look from the movie has been revealed through a poster which came out on his birthday last month. As we know, the hype is unreal on this movie and the makers are filming it on a grand canvas.
They have already shot a few key action sequences and the ‘Kurbaan’ hero flew to Hyderabad recently to shoot for ‘Devara’. Sources say that his introduction scene will be picturized this week and Koratala is making sure that he is presented in the most menacing way possible. His entry scene is expected to have a strong impact in the film and let us see how the team showcases him.
The combat scenes between NTR and Saif are going to be in this intense action saga. Janhvi Kapoor is the heroine in this movie and her look has been released long back. Apart from Saif, Shina Tom Chacko who is getting busy in Tollywood lately is playing a key part as well. Kalyan Ram is presenting this movie under ‘NTR Arts’ while Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Kosaraju Harikrishna are the producers.
Ratnavelu ISC is the director of photography while Sabu Cyril is the production designer. Sreekar Prasad is the editor while young musical sensation Anirudh Ravichander will be giving the music. The movie will be released on 5th April 2024.
Other than this, Saif Ali Khan was last seen playing the role of Lankesh in Prabahs’ ‘Adipurush’ and it was subjected to a lot of trolls and criticism.
