Vishal Confident On Scoring A Hit With Ganesh Chaturdhi!
Telugu-born Tamil hero Vishal who is known for his action entertainers is back once again. He is one of the few Tamil actors who has had a decent craze in the Telugu market right from the beginning of his career. Despite many setbacks, he did not leave Tollywood and dubbed all his films in Telugu. He is arriving on 15th September with an interesting film titled ‘Mark Antony’.
SJ Suriya is playing a very important role in the film while Abhinaya and Ritu Varma are the heroines. Sunil is also a part of this movie and the trailer which came out recently impressed everyone. It looks like a fictional crime drama with characters traveling in time. The looks of actors and the backdrop looks very interesting and the movie lovers are expecting a crazy ride.
The pre-release event of this film was held recently and Nithiin arrived as the guest. He praised Vishal and wished a big success to the team. Sunil said that the Tamil industry is like a temple while Telugu film industry is his home. SJ Suryah too showed confidence in the movie while claiming that he is going to give a hit to Mahesh Babu in the future as he delivered super hits with big stars like Pawan, Vijay and Ajith in his career.
Vishal thanked all the distributors for taking his film and showing confidence in their project. He spoke highly about the director and said that he faced a disaster during Ganesh Chaturdhi earlier but he is going to arrive with a very good film this time. ‘Mark Antony’ is written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran. Suneel and Selvaraghavan are playing key roles in the movie while GV Prakash Kumar is the director. S Vinod Kumar is producing this flick while Abinandhan Ramanujam is the director of photography.

Victory Venkatesh’s ‘Aadavari Maatalaku Arthale Verule’ which released back in 2007 was a very good success. It is a film that you can repeatedly watch as the emotions are very relatable. The father-son dynamic between Kota Srinivasa Rao and Venkatesh, Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music, entertaining scenes and the love story of Venkatesh with Trisha made it a beautiful film. Selvaraghavan made this film which looks like a regular family entertainer but is very layered.
People watch it even today whenever it is telecasted. Selvaraghavan made a tweet long back saying, “Watched AMAV after a long time. Had a great time working with Venky and Trisha, and I don’t mind making a sequel.” Trisha responded to it now and replied, “I’m ready @selvaraghavan.” Interestingly, Selvaraghavan’s tweet was made back in 2013 and Trisha giving a reply now is creating a lot of curiosity among the netizens.
Many are thinking that there might be a possibility of a sequel here. With the story ending in a perfect way, people are already predicting that it might be a continuation where Venkatesh and Trisha will be seen as husband and wife. It is well aware that talented filmmaker Srikanth Addala who is known for his class family films like ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’, ‘Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ and ‘Mukunda’ is hoping to make a comeback with his upcoming film ‘Peddha Kapu 1’. Unlike his previous flicks, it is an intense mass film and the teaser shocked a lot of people.
The audience did not expect such violence, drama and cuss words from an Addala film. With the movie releasing on 29th September, the makers have released the theatrical trailer and it looks very powerful. Revolutions are born because of the social injustice in the society. Peddha Kapu-1 portrays caste oppression within a village where there is the domination of two powerful people belonging to the upper class. There’s a lot happening in the trailer that discloses the storyline of the movie.
Tagged as Common Man’s signature, the movie showcases when here is a crisis, it results in revolution and a commoner raises his voice against the oppressors and he even begins a violent war against them. Srikanth Addala has done a brilliant job and the dialogues are thought-provoking. There is the same intensity in almost every sequence in the trailer.
Vikrant Karrna looks fierce and has a very good screen presence. The first part of ‘Pedha Kapu’ seems to have a lot in it and the gritty affair is sure to attract action movie lovers. The action sequences supervised by India’s leading action director Peter Hein were crafted with a strong realistic setting.
Chota K Naidu cranks the camera while Mickey J Meyer composes music. India’s leading action director Peter Heins supervises fights and Raju Sundaram is the choreographer. Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor while Miryala Sathanarayana Reddy is the presenter. The production design of Dwaraka Creations is top-class for a movie with a newcomer.

Icon Star Allu Arjun is currently working on ‘Pushpa 2’ which is being made under the direction of Sukumar. The shooting is going on at a good pace and Mythri Movie Makers are producing this flick. The first part minted huge money and got nationwide recognition. Allu Arjun played the role of a red sanders smuggler who rose from being a daily worker to a syndicate head.
With both Bunny and Devi Sri Prasad winning National Awards for the first part, the expectations have skyrocketed over the second part. There are a lot of rumours surrounding this project. While there was a talk of Sai Pallavi coming onboard, it was immediately dismissed. Now, there are rumours about Priyamani playing a key role in ‘Pushpa: The Rule’.
Recently, the ‘Yamadonga’ actress gave a clarity about it. While promoting her blockbuster movie ‘Jawan’, she made it clear that no one from ‘Pushpa 2’ team approached her till now and said that she would not leave the chance of working with Bunny if it arrived.

Many expected Sukumar to take actors from all the regions for the second part as the first film became a huge blockbuster. But Sukumar is taking actors who are required for the script and continuing most actors from the first part.
Jagapathi Babu is a new inclusion into the film but he is not the main villain. It is Fahadh Fasil who is the prime antagonist and the second part is going to be a fight between Pushparaj and Shekawat characters. Let us wait and see what happens in the coming days.
