While the makers of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Dictator are making grand preparations to launch its music on Dec 20th in Amaravati, here is the latest news about hero Gopichand’s upcoming film. The makers of Soukyam have finalised to do its audio launch event on December 13th in Ongole city.

Featuring Regina Cassandra as female lead, the film is directed by AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary who is back in form with Sai Dharam Tej’s Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham. In the past, Chowdary had directed Gopichand for Yagnam which became successful.

Anand Prasad, of Bhavya Creations who produced blockbuster Louykyam with Gopi, is producing this film as well. Though there are no exact reason why the film’s music is launched in Ongole, it’s heard that Prasad wanted to held it in Ongole as the songs of their previous film Loukyam was unveiled in Vijayawada.

The film’s music is scored by Anup Roobens. If all goes well, Soukyam would be hitting the screens on Dec 25 on the eve of Christmas. This will be clashing with Dr Mohan Babu-Allari Naresh’s multi-starrer Mama Manchu, Alludu Kanchu.

Chennai: Akshay Kumar will reprise superstar Vijay’s role in the Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster “Kaththi”. “Lyca Productions and A.R. Murugadoss will jointly produce the remake, which will be directed by debutant Jagan,” a source close to Murugadoss told IANS. “Kaththi”, which featured Vijay in dual role, was directed by Murugadoss and produced by Lyca.

The film’s shooting will start from April 2016. This will be the second time Akshay will star in the remake of Vijay’s film. He previously worked in the “Thuppaki” remake, which was named “Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty”.

Two flop films can really impact the career of an artiste or a director. And Srinu Vaitla had two back to back releases in Aagadu and Bruce Lee, both of which failed at the box office. So for some time, Vaitla is bound to feel the heat and as of now no hero or producer is coming forward to bail him out. The latest talk in Film Nagar right now is that Srinu Vaitla might be joining hands with Ram to make a movie.

In the past, Ram acted in Vaitla’s Ready, which was a super hit in the careers of both Ram and Vaitla. However, Ram had a flop in Shivam only recently. And the question now is who will be producing the film for them? Well, the answer surely is Sravanthi Productions, which is also the home banner of Ram.

Ram Gopal Varma has a programme called Ramuism on a particular channel. Popular anchor Swapna handles the show and on it, Varma talks of various aspects every week. Of late, the show does not have the required TRPs and probably in the process of making the programme sensational, Varma will be talking about the mega family.

Already, Varma had made some controversial statements about heroes in the mega family. He had said in the past that Mahesh was a bigger hero than Pawan Kalyan and he also went on to say that fans of mega family were mostly uneducated. So what will Varma say in his latest episodes remains to be the big question. Kajal Agarwal had given her dates to Pawan Kalyan’s Sardar Gabbar Singh four months back and since then she has been waiting for a call from the unit to join the shoot. After several postponements and cancellation of schedules, the actress finally joined the team in Gujarat yesterday. All these months, she was skeptical whether she would be doing the movie or not or some other actress would replace her with constant changes of the movie’s schedules.

One must recall that Kajal Agarwal was the first choice for Gabbar Singh 2, when director Sampath Nandi was to make the movie. When she quoted high price, Anisha Ambrose was taken. Later director Sampath was dropped off, so was Anisha Ambrose and also the film underwent many changes. When director Bobby was taken in and he began the regular shoot in July, Kajal was again approached and she gave her dates from August. Four months later, she has stepped into the sets of the movie and she is feeling happy that the confusion has finally ended.

It will be a direct tussle between Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun on 8th April 2016. Both the actors will be fighting out with their films. Mahesh Babu starrer Brahmotsavam will be releasing on 8th April. The latest information is that Allu Arjun is planning to release his film Sarainodu on the same day. Incidentally Allu Arjun’s birthday is also on the 8th of April. Mahesh Babu starrer Brahmotsavam started its shooting recently and is progressing briskly. Srikanth Addala is directing this film in which Mahesh Babu will be romancing three girls Kajal Agarwal, Samantha and Praneetha.

Post this film Mahesh Babu will move on to his next film to be directed by A R Murugadoss. PVP Cinema is producing the movie. On the other hand, Allu Arjun is working keenly on Sarainodu. His film Race Gurram was released on the 2nd week of April and this film went on to become a biggest hit in his career. Keeping this sentiment in mind Allu Arjun wants to release his Sarainodu directed by Boyapati Seenu on the 8th of April.

As we reported earlier, Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Dictator’ audio launch will be held in AP’s capital Amaravati on December 20. This is the first ever movie function to be held in the capital city. Obviously, Balakrishna and his film will get entered in history books with this rare occasion.

Meanwhile, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, ministers and MLAs are expected to grace the occasion as guests of the movie. Balakrishna romances Anjali and Sonal Chowhan in ‘Dictator’. The movie’s music is being scored by Thaman.

Sriwass of super hit film ‘Loukyamf fame wields megaphone of this film. Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan have penned the script of the movie. Eros International is the production house. The movie is slated for release on 14 January.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’s regular shoot was wrapped up recently in Hyderabad. The film unit has left for Gujarat to shoot some key scenes of the movie. The schedule, which was kick started on Wednesday, will last for 25 days.

Meanwhile Kajal Aggarwal, who was roped in as the lead actress of the movie, has joined the shoot of the movie in Guajarat schedule. A couple of romantic scenes are being shot on Pawan Kalyan and Kajal in this schedule at the moment.

KS Ravindra (Bobby) is directing this out and out mass entertainer. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music of the movie. The movie is being produced by Sharat Marar on North Star Entertainment. April 8 is considered to the date of release of the movie.

Apart from spinning money at the box office Prince Mahesh’s ‘Srimanthudu’ was acclaimed by critics for its social message of adopting a village and developing it. Latest snippet is that Bollywood’s handsome hero Hrithik Roshan showed interest on doing this film.

Hrithik Roshan has reportedly asked Koratala Siva, to make some changes to the script so that it gets suited to Hindi audiences. If everything gets materialized, Koratala Siva, who directed Telugu version of the movie, will helm the Hindi version as well. Eros International will be producing the film.

‘Srimanthudu’ collected a share of Rs.83 crores and stood as the second biggest grosser of Tollywood next to ‘Baahubali’. Shruthi Haasan sizzled opposite to Mahesh in family entertainer. Mahesh is currently busy working for ‘Brahmotsavam’ being directed by Srikanth Addala.

A family oriented story with comedy centred around obese beauty played by Anushka Shetty, it’s surprising that a film like “Size Zero” walked away with U/A certificate. This indicates that either the comedy is not clean or there is something else inside the film.

Earlier rumours have done rounds about a possible lip kiss between Arya and Anushka in this film. Given this U/A stamp like an evidence, should we now believe that the kissing scene is indeed true? Or Sonal Chauhan’s scorching glamour should have won this certificate from the censors. Many feel that Anushka has locked lips than the glamour shed by Sonal.

Also we could put it this way. Some scenes are involving the first night of Anushka and Arya in the film, and maybe those conversations have turned little realistic for which the Board members would have felt that children should not listen to them. Wait for 27th, to find out.

King Nagarjuna’s efforts in launching his two sons are appreciable. While the results of Chaitu and Akhil’s debut flicks went for a toss, their dad’s passion in launching them is clearly visible. Yet, he has committed some mistakes.

If there is anyone who should learn immediately from Nag’s experience, its none other than Nandamuri Balakrishna. Because he has to launch his son Mokshagna very soon. Talking about Nag’s mistakes, we’ve to say that he has chosen larger-than-life story for Akhil, which tanked big time.

Coming to Chaitu, a simple love story would have done but some student politics in the first film itself haven’t pushed either as class hero or mass hero.

So, Balayya should now start taking the decision early about the ‘script’ and kind of ‘heroism’ his son should pick for debut film. Maybe a soft debut will do much help than a hyped ‘superstar’ kind of launch.
