Young Rebel Star Prabhas’ Mirchi is releasing tomorrow across the world amidst huge expectations. This came as surprise for many as Prabhas’ earlier film Rebel bombed at box office. Sources say it is due to Prabhas’ upcoming film with Rajamouli’.

Now there is Italian connection to Mirchi. According to insiders Prabhas will be seen as Jai an Architect in Italy. He is a guy not so keen on love. Suddenly he will be knowing about important developments in India which force him to return to the country. How he solved and what role Vennela (Anushka) and Manasa (Richa Gangopadhyaya) played and whom he loves, form red hot ‘Mirchi’. One should enjoy how Italian architect constructed Mirchi success towers.

Charming Charmee, if reports are to be believed is getting ready to get raped!. This may be stunning but is true. According to insiders Charmee will be enacting the role of Nirbhaya, the Delhi rape victim who fought valiantly before breathing last.

Many film makers are scripting their stories based on the incident and Director Allani Sridhar is planning to make a bilingual entertainer in Telugu and Hindi on the incident. He feels charmee will suit the role as she earlier featured in lady oriented entertainers like Anukokunda Oka Roju, Mantra etc. Sridhar is currenly in Delhi collecting details on the incident and is even planning to meet the family members of the victim. Sources say he allocated Rs 5crs for the project. Earlier Sridhar remade hit films like Erra sainyam, Matrudevobhava in hindi.

If the talk emerging from Kollywood is to be believed, Superstar Rajinikanth could team up with actor Sanjay Dutt for a film in the future. The actors recently caught up with each other in Chennai, when Dutt was shooting for Policegiri, which is the remake of Tamil hit, Saamy. And the talks of doing a film together did the rounds. It’s rumoured that director KS Ravi Kumar will be wielding megaphone for this project. However, when contacted, Rajini’s spokesperson Riyaz did not confirm nor deny the news.

Rajinikanth is currently busy shooting for his next project, Kochaidyaan. If this project gets materialized, the entire country from North to South will go frenzy.

Young Tiger NTR who is busy shuffling between the shootings of his Baadshah and Harish Shankar movie had okayed his next. The movie will have its launch ceremony on 13th of this month. Kandireega fame Santosh Srinivas will be wielding megaphone for this project. Ram was supposed to do this project but he opted out of it due to differences with the producer. NTR had liked the story and immediately okayed it.

Samantha will be pairing up with NTR in this movie. This will be the third combination of NTR and Samantha after Brindavanam and Harish Shankar movie. The regular shooting of the movie will begin in the second half of the year. Devi Sri Prasad will be scoring music for this movie. Bellamkonda Suresh will be producing this movie under his Sri Sai Ganesh movies banner.  More details of this project are expected very soon.

Telugu-Tamil actor Kajal says the only time she cried was when she had a boyfriend problem. “I have 24 super hits out of the 26 films I have featured in. I have been lucky in my life and have not struggled for my breaks or any other financial issues. The only time I have cried in my life was due to boyfriend problems. In fact, when I need to do an emotional scene I have to try really hard as I have no reference to think of in real life. I can only think of faint memories of my grandfather’s death in ninth standard, as that is the only association I have with sorrow.”

aShe has enjoyed working with Vijay in Thupaaki, though she says he barely speaks and she was the one always blabbering. “I like people who are friendly, but not over-friendly. He is like that. In Telugu, I like Junior NTR. He is not only a good actor, but is honest. He is arrogant, but I still like him as arrogance is also a part of honesty.”

 

Universal Star Kamal Haasan from the very beginning planned his controversial Viswaroopam in such a way that there will be sequel for it. Even before the release of the film, Kamal concentrated on sequel and even shot some scenes but however it got delayed due to the film getting banned in Tamil Nadu.

Buzz is the sequel will be titled ‘Moo’ meaning ‘Three’ and as one is aware that Kamal will not decide titles with out any significance, Kamal will be seen in three different locations in the sequel. First part ended with terrorist Omar escaping from Kamal’s clutches and Kamal stating that he will be coming soon to India. Full details on the project will be out soon.

 

Prince Mahesh Babu who scored three blockbuster hits starting with Dookudu, Business Man and now Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is knocking at “Rs 100cr’ club making a strong success impact. Many trade analysts feel sooner than later he will make his entry in style as the 100cr club will be beautified and honored at the presence of Prince in their club.

Currently he is already having five projects and even if one puts his remuneration at Rs 12 cr, it comes to Rs 60 cr. Already many corporates are competing with each other trying to rope Mahesh as brand ambassador. So Rs 40 cr remuneration is not hard to earn for Mahesh. There is already talk in the industry that he makes more from endorsing brands than starring in the films.

It is a proud moment for all fans of Mahesh, movie lovers and Industry when Prince breaches Rs 100cr barrier.

They’ve always been the best of friends and the best of rivals. The two icons of Tamil cinema – Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth – have always stood by each other. It, therefore, comes as no surprise to know that the latter would be watching the former’s controversial “Vishwaroopam” Wednesday.

Said Kamal: “I’m expressing my gratitude to all my colleagues in the Tamil film industry for standing by me. I’ve a screening at the 6 Degrees theatre in the Auro 3D format for all my friends this evening.”

The screening of “Vishwaroopam”, directed and produced by Kamal, was banned in Tamil Nadu after a group of Muslim Organisations protested against the film saying it will hurt the sentiments of the Muslims. But later, after several round of talks, the actor-filmmaker got permission to release the film after editing objectionable scenes. Now the espionage thriller is releasing in the state Thursday.

Before that there is the special screening and Rajinikanth, who stood by him during tough times, is among the special invitees.

Said a source close to Kamal: “Yes, Rajini sir is indeed watching ‘Vishwaroopam’ on Kamal sir’s request. Rajini Sir was one of the first actors in Tamil Nadu who spoke up in favour of Kamal sir’s film when all the protests broke out. He even offered to do a film free of cost to compensate for the losses suffered by Kamal sir because of the protests. Kamal sir has arranged a screening of ‘Vishwaroopam’ in the special Auro 3D for Rajni sir.”

A special screening of the film for the Bollywood fraternity is also being planned in Mumbai. It is expected to be attended by the Bachchans, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, the Roshans and Shatrughan Sinha’s family, among many others.

On Feb 9, Kamal leaves for Paris for the special French premiere on Feb 10 of “Vishwaroopam”, which stars Kamal along with Pooja Kumar, Jaideep Ahlawat, Shekhar Kapur and Rahul Bose.

When everyone came to know that Mega Power Star Ram Charan will be taking part in Celebrity Cricket League’s third edition, interest in the tournament increased immensely. All eyes are focused on how Cherry would perform in the tournament.

Delhi police are looking for a person or persons who have been posting former actress and MP Jaya Prada’s obscene pictures on social networking sites. Jaya Prada has complained her morphed photographs had been put up on a website and the link posted on her Facebook account.

Sources said Jaya Prada, along with Rajya Sabha member Amar Singh, approached the Economic Offences Wing Monday and complained about the pictures. She claimed that her account had been hacked and her photos were uploaded.

After the mischief monger posted the link, several visitors visited her Facebook profile and posted obscene messages, police said.

Though Lakshmi Prasanna had scored good marks as an actor, the all important box office success had been evading her both as actress and producer. Her maiden production venture Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara is a big flop and failed miserably at the box office. She had not only lost money but also let down her buyers. And now the real problem is her latest production venture, Gundelo Godari is lying in cans with out buyers. So, Lakshmi had decided to release the movie on her own. Aadi Pinisetti, Sandeep Krishna, Lakshmi Prasanna and Taapsee are the lead cast in this film. A new comer Kumar Nagendra is yielding megaphone for this movie. Lakshmi Prasanna is producing this movie on Manchu entertainments banner and Dr Mohan Babu presenting it. ‘Music Maestro’ Ilayaraja had composed the music.
