It is a fact that no one can match the power of Power Star Pawan Kalyan in Tollywood and similarly none can come anywhere near the magical charms of Prince Mahesh Babu. According to latest information,, Mahesh babu is going to be seen along with Pawan Kalyan on screen soon. There are chances that Mahesh might do a guest role in Trivikram, Pawan Kalyan’s next film. Mahesh has a lot of respect for Trivikram as he is the one who extracted the hidden talent in Mahesh in new characterizations through the films like ‘Atadu’ and ‘Kaleja’. Even Mahesh respects and likes Pawan Kalyan a lot. That is why Mahesh babu might have accepted Trivikram’s request for his latest film.
 
This is going to be another feast to the fans of both Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan as two top heroes of Tollywood together on screen is no joke for fans. Mahesh earlier gave his voice over for the movie ‘Jalsa’.

Ramcharan Injured in Janzeer Shooting ?

There seems to be no end to the troubles facing the remake of Zanjeer featuring Telugu superstar Ramcharan Teja, Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt in the roles played originally by Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bhaduri and Pran.

In the latest setback, and what could be regarded as a crippling blow to the film’s next schedule, Ramcharan Teja has injured his nose on the set of his new Telugu film Naayak, thereby throwing the next schedule of Zanjeer featuring him with Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt, completely off-course.

Says a source from Hyderabad, “Ramcharan who is fiercely focused on his Hindi career at the moment is dismayed by the turn of events. But these things can’t be helped. He got hit on the nose while doing an action scene for his Telugu film Naayak and is being treated in his wife’s hospital in Hyderabad.  The current schedule of Zanjeer in Mumbai from December 20-28  has been cancelled.”

Apparently Ramcharan’s sudden unavailability entails  an indefinite delay in the next schedule of Zanjeer,as Priyanka and Sanjay Dutt’s co-ordinated dates are not available until February 2013.

Says the source from Hyderabad, “Ramcharan has taken the blow very badly. He  even tried to shoot with his injured nose since Mr Dutt and Ms Chopra’s dates were going to waste. But it was impossible to shoot in his condition.”

Sonia angry on Botsa’s rape comments

Congress president Sonia Gandhi has reportedly expressed anger at the remarks of the PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana on the Delhi gang rape.

According to sources, she has asked her adviser Ahmed Patel to obtain an explanation from Botsa on the remarks. It is learnt that Botsa has given a letter explaining his comments and his later statement condemning media reports to the AICC general secretary and state party in-charge Ghulam Nabi Azad.

It was reported that Botsa has faulted the girl for moving about at midnight. He has reportedly said that we cannot move about during midnight simply because we got freedom at midnight. He is reported to have described the rape as a minor incident and praised Sonia Gandhi for talking to student leaders though it was a small incident.

Stunned by the anger of women organizations and opposition parties, Botsa alleged that he was misquoted. He said he only said that the government should provide security for women to move about freely even at midnight. He has also apologized.

NTR’s new movie titled ‘Rabasa’

If the buzz from the Film Nagar scuttlebutt machinery is to be believed, NTR’s upcoming movie under the direction of Santosh Srinivas is titled ‘NTR Rabasa’. Santosh had earlier directed Super hit movie Kandireega and is now busy penning the final version of the script. The movie will be shot simultaneously with Harish Shankar movie.

NTR will be seen romancing two heroines in the movie. Samantha is one of them and the other heroine is yet to be confirmed. Bellamkonda Suresh will be producing this movie under his Sri Sai Ganesh movies banner.  More details of this project are expected very soon.

Ram Charan’s Big Time in Tamil

The Tamil version of Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Nayak, Saravedi had created enough buzz in Kollywood and the Tamil version was picked up for a record price. And now the efforts are on to make sure the movie gets grand release there. They are planning to release the movie on January 9th along with the Telugu version. This is the first time both the versions of a movie are releasing together.

On the other side, Orange, directed by Bhaskar of Bommarillu fame, will be dubbed in Tamil and released as Ram Charan on December 28. Ram Charan’s Magadheera was earlier dubbed and released in Tamil as Maveeran and raked a moolah there.

Nagarjuna is Greeku Veerudu!

As the shooting of the movie nears completion, the makers of Akkineni Nagarjuna’s upcoming movie directed by Dasarath are looking for an apt title for their movie. Greeku Veerudu, Premikudu and Chandrudu are the titles in consideration for the movie. The movie had recently completed a major schedule in Bangkok.

Nagarjuna will be seen as an NRI who comes to India for the first time. Nayantara is pairing up with Nagarjuna in this movie. Second time after Boss. Dasarath is directing Love Story and D Sivaprasad Reddy is producing the film on Kamakshi Kala Movies banner. Thaman is composing the music.

Mani Ratnam’s Kadal Release date

Ace film maker Mani Ratnam’s upcoming movie Kadal had completed its shooting formalities and is in post production phase. The film is set in the backdrop of the lives of fishermen and is shot in some tough conditions including torrential rains and exotic locales in South Tamil Nadu and Andaman & Nicobar islands.The movie is all set to release on February 1st.

The film features debutant Gautham Karthik, son of actor Karthik and debutant Thulasi Nair, daughter of Radha in the lead roles. Arvind Swami and Lakshmi Manchu will be seen in important roles. The film will be dubbed and released simultaneously in Telugu as Kadali.

Small Music director gets Big opportunity from Balayya

JB is the music director for a small movie,Bus Stop  and now he will  be scoring music for Balayya next movie directed by Chinni Krishna. JB’s music for Bus Stop had earned him good name and that good work had earned him this chance. A song had been already recorded for the movie and it turned out very well according to the sources. Balayya will be seen as strict Police officer in the movie which will go on to sets in January.

Ravishing red hot Bengali beauty Richa Gangopadhyaya who romanced Rana in Leader went on to mesmerise Mass Maharaja in Mirapakaya. She even sizzled on Kollywood silver screen with films like Mayakkam Enna and Osthe.

Super Star Mahesh Babu is one of the most sought heroes in Tollywood today. Several Producers are ready to give blank cheque advances for his dates in the next 3-4 years. Ram Charan’s Reshoot season

Things not seem to be working for Ram Charan’s upcoming movie, Yevadu. The movie is burdened by reshoots after Samantha was shown the door from the project due to dates problems. And now the makers have decided to reshoot the item song of the movie after the song video was leaked on to internet few days ago. The song ‘Ayyo Papamm’ has Scarlett Wilson and Ram Charan shaking legs. The song in audio is superb but the response for the video was not so satisfactory, so the makers are reportedly planning to reshoot the entire song once again. We will have to see if they repeat Scarlett Wilson for the new version or go with a new girl!

Yevadu has Shruti Hassan and Amy Jackson playing the female lead roles. Allu Arjun and Kajal Agarwal makes guest appearance in the film. Vamsi Paidipalli is the director. Dil Raju is producing the movie under his Sri Venkateswara films banner. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music.

Simbu croons for a Telugu movie

Tamil Super Star Simbu who made headlines earlier this year when he crooned his first non filmi single — Love Anthem For World Peace is all set to portray  his singing skills to Tollywood now. He has lent his voice to a song in director Madhura Sreedhar’s upcoming movie, Backbench Student. Simbu, who has already recorded the song in Chennai, will be starring in the video as well.

That’s not all, Anirudh, the music director who shot to fame with the hugely popular Kolaveri Di, has sung the title track of the movie that stars Mahat Raghavendra, Piaa Bajpai and Archana Kavi. Apparently, it was actor Mahat who got Simbu on board.

Mega Heroes turning Big Zeroes?

Many die hard fans of mega family feel that their heroes are the kings of Tollywood and are the born successors for the crown left by Mega Star Chiraneevi who ruled Tollywood empire unchallenged for decades. However if one see the performances of mega family heroes starting from Ram Charan Tej, Allu Arjun, Pawan Kalyan, Naga Babu and upcoming stars Sai Dharam Tej, many feel all of them are just zeroes with out the mega family tag or the usage of powerful name Megastar Chiranjeevi. Many feel if they do away with mega star name, they don’t even measure up to talented new comers in looks or performances.

While Naga Babu did not achieve much success, Pawan Kalyan known as Power Star reeled under many flops for decades before managing to score hit with Gabbar Singh. However most of the scenes consisted of Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s hit songs. Ram Charan who tasted biggest defeat with Orange, made it a point to include remix songs of his dad so that his film will not turn out to be a disaster. While Rajamouli magic worked for Magadheera, in Rachcha he included Vaana Vaana and now in Naayak , subhalekha rasukunna. Sai Dharam Rej who is making his debut with Rey is also banking on Chiranjeevi’s golimar song. This shows that mega heroes are big zeores on Tollywood silver screen.

Mahanth Raghavendra is the former boyfriend of Tapsee. His upcoming film is ‘Back Bench Student’ being directed by Madhura Sreedhar of ‘Sneha Geetam’ and ‘Its my love story’ fame. Madhura Sreedhar in a press meet, talking about his film, he said “Generally back bench students have best brains but this back bench student has best heart”. Pia Bajpayee of Rangam and Dalam fame is pairing with Mahanth Raghavendra while Archana Kavi is playing the second female lead in the film.
