Sri Lakshmi can leave AP

CBI has given clearance to the arrested IAS officer Sri Lakshmi to go to Tamil Nadu for getting physiotherapy at the Vellore Hospital.

Sri Lakshmi, accused in the OMC scam was given bail when she complained of backache and said she needed surgery. She was however directed not to leave the state. Recently she filed a petition seeking permission to go to Tamil Nadu for further treatment. On this, the court sought the opinion of the CBI, which said it had no objection.

However the agency’s deputy legal adviser said she should inform the court when she would go and return. On his, Judge Durga Prasada Rao directed the arrested officer’s counsel to submit a report on her health condition from the doctors and details of her visit to Tamil Nadu.

No Gangnam for Charan?

Criticism over Cong. reps for all-party meet

The Congress party which selected six representatives – three each from Rayalaseema and Telangana for participating in the all party meeting on Telangana, has finally picked up two. The party announced the names Suresh Reddy, former speaker from Telangana and Gade Venkata Reddy, former minister from Seemandhra.

There is criticism instantaneously that the party picked up wrong candidates. Though Suresh Reddy is from Telangana, he was never active in the Telangana movement. Congress MPs of Telangana who fiercely fought on the issue were disappointed at the selection of Suresh Reddy who is also known as a very soft person. On the other hand, Gade Venkata Reddy is a strong opponent of state bifurcation. He has been very vocal in expressing his views. Even opposition parties are criticizing the ruling party that the very selection of its representatives gave clear evidence about it is insincerity.

Congress party has instructed the two representatives to reflect the ground level people’s views at the meeting. This would also mean that the two would give divergent views on the creation of the Telangana state.

T-meeting may give SKC report a miss

The proposed all-party leaders’ meeting in Delhi on December 28 “is only intended to understand the latest situation on Telangana issue from the political parties in the state”, according to the Union home ministry sources.

At the same time, the sources clarified to the media in Delhi that the meeting was not to elicit opinions from the parties on the report submitted by Justice Srikrishna Committee, constituted to study the separate statehood demand.

“It is a fact the then home minister P. Chidambaram proposed all-party leaders’ meeting on the report of Justice Srikrishna, but that is a bygone issue. We intend to look at the whole Telangana issue afresh,” an official told the reporters.

“There is a change of guard in the home ministry, so the new minister desires to have a meeting to know the latest situation on Telangana. It is for the political party leaders to respond,” the sources said. Meanwhile an official in the ministry clarified to the media that only eight political parties were invited for the meeting, and the name of Lok Satta had been deleted from the invitees’ list since it is not a recognised political party by the Election Commission.

The YSR Congress was included in the list in the place of Praja Rajyam, which does not exist anymore, the sources said.

Lakshmi Rai was at the receiving end of some fan frenzy at the shooting of her upcoming flick, ‘Onbadula Guru’, in Puducherry.College students and fans came to the shooting spot of her film and some even reached out to touch her. Post Mankatha, Lakshmi, who is happy to be getting good scripts in Tamil as well as from Tollywood, has become choosy with her roles, the current one, with Vinay Rai, being one of substance. Director P.T.Selvakumar was canning a song, Vidiya Vidiya Idhayam, penned by Madan Karky with K’s music, picturised on the lead actors near the Boat House in Puduchery .

A huge crowd gathered in the morning, waving to Lakshmi Rai and taking her autograph while shooting proceeded smoothly . The trouble started around 4 pm when a huge group of college students reached the spot. In a while, the crowd went crazy, with youngsters mobbing Lakshmi, reaching out to touch her.The few security personnel present could not do much. Cameraman Chelladurai and other unit members quickly escorted her to the car. Shooting was disrupted for the rest for the day while the producer sought recourse to police protection later.

“Oh, it was nightmarish,“ concedes Lakshmi, “but there was no mishap, as reported in the local media. I know fans indulge in such activities out of love and affection, and I don’t want to make a big issue of it.”

Yamudiki Mogudu Release delayed

Allari Naresh’s first socio fantasy movie, Yamudiki Mogudu which was supposed to take place today is facing financial problems. The movie did not hit the screens as planned in the morning. All the theaters have cancelled the morning shows and are hopeful of screening the movie from matinees.

This is Allari Naresh’s first socio-fantasy movie and did good business all over. Richa Panay is playing the female lead. Ramyakrishna will be seen as her mother.  E.Saththibabu is directing this movie while it is being produced by Chanti Addala.

Prabhas and Venkatesh multistarer soon!

Looks like the season of multistarers had began! We have Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu releasing for Sankranthi and we recently heard Ram and Venkatesh joining hands for Bol Bachchan remake. And here is one more.  Prabhas and Venkatesh might be teaming up for a multistarer movie very soon. Dil Raju who already is making a multistarer with Mahesh and Venkatesh with Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is also the man behind this new project. There is no information regarding who will be the director of this movie.

It is also rumoured that Trisha will be pairing up with Venky and Kajal will play the love interest of Prabhas in this new multistarer. ‘Suryudu- Chendrudu’ is the title in consideration. Lets wait for the official word!

SVSC Censor date

The biggest multistarer of the decade, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is all set to entertain audience. The movie unit had recently completed the shooting part and are now busy in post production phase. The makers have reportedly booked a slot for censor on January 7th. With this the movie is certainly on track for January 11th release.

Srikanth Addala is the director of SVSC, the family entertainer casting Samantha and Anjali as the leading ladies and Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Brahmanandam et al in prominent roles. Mickey J. Meyer composed the musical scores while KV Guhan is cranking the camera.

Charan okays Boyapati film

Mega Power Star Ram Charan reportedly had okayed a movie under the direction of Boyapati Srinu who is well versed in directing mass masalas like Bhadra, Thulasi, Simha and Dhammu. The project will go on to sets from February. Charan will now have to adjust his dates between Yevadu, Zanjeer and this project.

Alexander Vallabha will be producing the project on his Creative Commercials banner. KS Rama Rao will be presenting it. Boyapati had already began the preproduction work of the movie. More details on this project very soon.

Dil Raju’s Business Mind

It is already known to our readers that Dil Raju, the producer of Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is planning huge premieres across the state on January 10th night.These Premiere shows are all paid shows and are being planned in about 20 centers of the state. The producer is expecting no less than 1 Crore revenue from these shows.

The shooting of SVSC is complete and is now in Post production phase. Story: Naresh(Allari Naresh) is interested more in dramas rather than studies, he has been attempting to pass his Intermediate from past 10 years. Once Naresh and his friends get ready to perform a drama “Seetha Swayamvaram”, the girl who has to perform the role of Seetha leaves the Stage. Narada(Naresh) comes to Bhoolokam and sets Yamaja(Richa Panai)[ daughter of Yamadharma Raju] to play the heroine role. After Seetha Swayamvaram Yamaja follows Naresh where ever he goes. How Naresh gets rid of her, What happens after that is what the movie is about?

Performances: Naresh is very comfortable and is at complete ease when it comes to comedy roles. His comedy timing is very good. Richa panai is passable but her dubbing is not convincing. Ramya Krishna is good. Shayaji Shinde is okay, even though his personality didn’t suit to Yama’s role. Bharath is okay. The remaining artists fitted to their roles. Music by Koti is Average. The Art work and VFX effects are good. The Cinematography is good. The editing is okay. The story and screenplay are convincing. The direction is good in parts.

Analysis: The Title “Yamudiki Mogudu” is taken from the 1988 super Hit Socio- fantasy film of Chiranjeevi which was based on Yamalokam Backdrop. This movie too has a similar concept and backdrop so it’s convincing and well justified. Here also the hero travels all the way to Yamalokam and returns back and how that happened forms the plot. The movie is rich in production values. The art work(sets) looked colorful (even though most of the colors used are red and pink). The VFX effects are okay and believable to most extent.

‘Allari’ Naresh has taken huge gap after his recent flick “Sudigadu”, he returned back with yet another entertainer. This time he has come up with a socio-fantasy film in the backdrop of Yamalokam. The story is similar to any other Yamalokam based movie and even the climax has nothing new to offer. The dialogues are good and entertaining(even though they have gone overboard at times). The movie has some funny moments entertained by Raghu Babu, Krishna bhagwan, Bharath.

‘Allari’ Naresh is good in the role of Naresh, his scenes(family) in the first half even though appear routine, he engages us with his impeccable comedy timing and dialogues.
Richa panai is okay, her performance is good in couple of places and she has done okay job as debutant. Her dubbing is poor. Ramya Krishna is okay and she danced well in the song. Naresh suited to the role of Narada. Sayaji Shinde could not bring the heaviness to the role but he is okay. Krishna Bhagwan as usually brings some laughs with his punches.
Bharath entertains in a few scenes. The remaining cast is okay.

Koti has given Average music, a couple of songs are okay. The remix song “Attho Athhamma Kuthuro” from Alluda Mazaka movie(It was composed by Koti only) got huge response in the theater. The lyrics were changed to suit the situation. The background score is passable. Art Director and Producer Chanti Addala has tried to give a rich look to the movie with the lavish sets and visual effects. Cinematography is good. editing is okay. The Screenplay is good even though it’s predictable. Satti Babu tried the dialogues(satirical) in the same format as of EVV. The Direction is good at some places. He is still stuck up with old fashioned direction in many scenes. The movie can be enjoyed more by keeping the logic aside.

The movie fares well in B, C Centers for the entertainment(double meaning dialogues). We have to wait and see for the response in the ‘A’ centers.

NTR back in College!

Young Tiger NTR is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming movie, Badshah and will shift to the shooting of his other movie with Harish Shankar from January 3rd. NTR is reportedly going to play a college student, a role which he had not portrayed since the days of Student No.1 and Subbu. Fans are going to see a brand new NTR with different personality and body language in this movie. The makers are aiming to finish and release the movie on July 9th, the date on which NTR’s blockbuster movie Simhadri released.

Samantha will be pairing up with NTR in this movie. The other beauty is yet to be decided. Harish Shankar who delievered a blockbuster this year in the form of Gabbar Singh is wielding megaphone for this movie. Bandla Ganesh is producing the movie under his Parameswara Arts banner.

MS Narayana’s hilarious role in Badshah

The rumours spreading all over the internet about Ram Charan’s nose injury is not true. The actor is safe and sound. Few days ago he had suffered a sinus related problem but is completely cured now. He had already began the dubbing of Nayak too. So now, there can not be any confusion regarding the release date of Nayak. For the past few days, Few websites  have been spreading rumours that Charan was injured while performing an action sequence for Nayak and the injury is so serious that it may cause delay in the release of the movie. Yamudiki Mogudu Hindi dubbing rights sold

The makers of Allari Naresh’s first socio fantasy movie, Yamudiki Mogudu are making a merry . The movie had fetched record prices in all the areas way higher than Naresh’s best. And now we hear that the Hindi dubbing rights of the movie were picked up for 23 Lakhs. Manish of Gold Mines who earlier bagged Hindi dubbing rights of Rebel and Badshah had laid hands on this movie too.

The makers of the movie have used the title of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 1988 blockbuster movie, Yamudiki Mogudu for their movie. Chiranjeevi’s super hit song ‘Aththo aththamma koothuro’ is being remixed for this movie. Richa Panay is playing the female lead. Ramyakrishna will be seen as her mother.  E.Saththibabu is directing this movie while it is being produced by Chanti Addala.

ACB ride on YSR’s shadow

In the times of YSR being the Chief Minister of AP, there used to be a person with white hair always behind YSR. He is Sureedu. Everybody knows that KCP was the soul to YSR and Sureedu was like his shadow. After the demise of YSR, both of them lost their glory. Jagan didn’t give much importance to Sureedu like his father did. Sureedu was once a key suspect in Jagan’s illegal properties case and was hot topic at that time and then everything went normal and Sureedu was out of limelight.
 
Now this name is foreground again. The ACB raid on his house is the reason behind this. ACB has raid on APPSC member Rivunjaya Reddy, who has close association with Sureedu, which leads to a raid on Sureedu’s house as well. There were accusations on Sureedu, that he made many self-helping activities in the time YSR.
 
There is a talk in political circles that in order to get hold of Sureedu, government has planned this raid. There was news some time back that Sureedu has turned as an approver in the case of Jagan’s illegal properties.
