TDP leakage strategy boomeranging

TDP is the party which pioneered the usage of leakages to its advantage. Leakages played important role in Chandra Babu becoming CM and then his continuance as CM for 9 years with out any opposition. During that time whenever he has to take any major decision on cabinet reshuffle, sacking of ministers or transferring officials or crushing opposition, Chandra Babu used leakages as his main weapon. This helped him in overpowering even NTR and then taking over the party in his hands. Now the same leakages are worrying the party giving sleepless nights.

Now the party is faced with the leakages of some senior leaders contesting next elections from constituencies. Some leaders allege leakage politics and media behind defaming of the party. Even none other than Balakrishna who is keen on contesting for assembly faced the leakage problem. Suddenly from nowhere news appeared that he was interested in MP seat and will be contesting either from Vijayawada or Hindupur. However Balakrishna who turned furious issued clarification stating that he will not leave the state and will be contesting assembly elections from Gudivada.

Balakrishna exercised restraint thinking that if he goes in public about his constituency it will bring bad name to the party he just stated that he will contest from the district.

Puppet PM’s helplessness on ‘T’

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for long has been regarded as puppet in the hands of Cong President Sonia Gandhi. On any subject he never used to open his mouth without getting prior approval from party president and UPA chairperson. So when it came to light that PM expressed his helplessness on telangana issue when MPs from the region met him and asked for announcement of T state by asking him to speak on the matter with Madame Sonia it came as nothing new.

Infact if any of the Cong representatives are shocked then they may be new to this phenomenon but experienced persons will only be surprised if PM arrives at any decision. The incident happened when Se leader and RS member V.Hanumath Rao met Manmohan SIngh and asked him for how long telangana issue will be dragged. He requested by announcing telangana atleast the party could be saved in one region.

PM without answering the question directly adviced him to speak on the subject with President Sonia Gandhi.When VH tried to speak about importance of telangana, he asked him to do the same to Sonia or state incharge Azad. When VH said he informed to all important people, PM once again insisted on the importance to speak to Sonia.

CM cornered from all sides

AP politics are taking turn day in and day out. Till recently everyone was shocked to see CM Kiran launching all out frontal attack on all his detractors with even sending signls to ministers in cabinet that those who don’t agree with the decisions of the cabinet, would be sacked.

In the midst of all this many representatives are flying to Delhi with the single point agenda to change CM. Insiders reveal that while Dy CM Damodar Rajanarasimha warned that he would resign from the post, DL.Ravindra Reddy is said to be contemplating on quitting his MLA post.

Some say PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana who is eying CM post for longtime is behind all this rebellion. Botsa speaking to all those going to Delhi, even with formers minister Peddi Reddy Ramachandra Reddy raised many suspicion. Even Former Minister Sankara Rao is waiting for Sonia Appointment. Buzz is if anyone gets Sonia’s appointment, then the number may increase more.

Peddireddy went one step ahead and said had Kiran not become CM, Jagan would have stayed in the party. Many are of the opinion that people are contemplating on joining YSRCP.

Gunashekar not learning from his mistakes

A famous saying goes that Success only comes to those people who learn lessons from their own mistakes.But director Gunashekar seem to have no knowledge of it. The director is known for spending crores of producers’ money for erecting lavish sets. All his films so far have huge sets and this has become more or less a trademark style of Gunashekar. This has also been pointed out by Ram Gopal Varma in the introduction song of his film Katha Screenplay Darsakathvam Appalraju.

The director is doing the same for his next movie Rudramma devi. He is touring all the historical monuments in Warangal along with art director, Thota Tharani. He is reportedly planning to erect all those sets which will reportedly make the movie a big budget movie. Interestingly, Gunashekar himself is producing this movie and it will be suicidal venture for Guna if failed at the box office.

NTR becomes fida for that actress

Regina Cassandra, who has earned much acclaim for her performance in SMS and Routine Love Story, is one of the top contenders for a major role in the NTR-starrer to be directed by Harish Shankar. The actress was reportedly recommended by none other than the hero of the movie, NTR himself. The actor had reportedly watched both the movies of Regina and is extremely impressed with her.

Tamannah will be the main female lead in the movie. The movie will be produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara films banner. Dil Raju earlier produced NTR’s Brindavanam. Young Music Talent Thaman will compose the music.

Viswaroopam TV Release idea stalled

It is known that Universal Kamal Hassan who is doing multitasking of acting, directing and producing his latest release, Viswaroopam, had come up with a radical idea of releasing his movie simultaneously on TV along with the theater release. He had striken deal with major DTH operators in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi for 50C rupees for this. However, this idea had triggered concern from the people associated with Tamil movie  trade expressed. They fear that if Kamal’s e idea becomes a success, many future movies will follow this new revenue model which will result in slowly wiping out the theatrical collections. So, they have threatened to stall the movie release in Tamilnadu if the actor does not repeal his plans.

Hence the actor had to drop his idea of TV release and sent a  message to the distributors and exhibitors that the TV release idea will be dropped. However, few sources close to the actor say the idea is still in consideration for the Hindi version, Viswaroop.

Dabangg 2 valued at 180C

New year eve is fast approaching and many resorts, clubs, business houses and corporate houses are getting ready for gala celebrations offering various schemes and musical nites for youngsters. According to latest information they have even got in touch with film stars and signed whopping deals with them.

Musid directors, stars, singers are making huge bucks getting signing deals with the corporates. According to insiders stars who are drawing 1lakh increased their rate to twice or thrice the amount. Charmi,Poonam Kaur, Aksha, Tashu Kaushik signed by Jubilee Hills International Club while Sayali Bhagat agreed for Country Club. Even Shradda Das signed a deal.

Madhu Sharma, Menakshi Dixit, Vidya Rao and Siva Reddy agreed to perform for Hailand resorts near Mangalagiri Road, Vijayawada. A family club in Vijayawada signed Kamna Jethmalani along with five comedians. Corporates in Vizag are in talks with some stars. Five Star hotels in Hyd are not lagging behind and names will be out once they reach an agreement. Most of the stars however like to spend new year in Goa like Shriya.

Tamil hero becomes the dubbed version of Mohd. Ghajini

Telugu born Tamil actor Vishal might have been inspired from Mohd. Ghajini. He is not disappointed even after repeated failures in Telugu. Going in to details, despite the long streak of failures, Vishal is particular of dubbing his films and releasing in Telugu. His latest movie Samar is being dubbed in to Telugu as ‘Sukra’. The movie had completed its shooting formalities and is in post production mode. The makers are planning to release it in January.
 
The dubbing works of the movie will begin very soon and the audio event in Telugu will also happen some time this month. Trisha is the female lead in the movie. Thiru who earlier directed Khiladi with Vishal is directing the movie. The film, produced by Vikram Krishna, stars Trisha as the female lead.

Will Vinayak’s weapon give success to ‘Nayak’?

Weapons have been an integral part of Vinayak’s movies. Each of his heroes has carried different arms as their weapons. This time, it is a sword. The successful Tollywood director VV Vinayak, who is now directing Naayak, has presented his hero, Ram Charan with a sword for this movie. This sword has been specially designed for this movie. Vinayak recently unveiled the sword and it has to be seen whether Nayak’s new weapon will present success to Nayak.

Vinayak used different weapons to present success to his heroes in all of his films. All of his movies like Yogi with Prabhas, Lakshmi with Venkatesh and Allu Arjun with Badrinath, have heroes with weapons associated with that character. The weapons which Vinayak gives his heroes are associated with the mass image of the hero. As a result, the weapon resonates with the character and lingers for long in the memory of the public.

This movie Naayak will see the hero, the superstar Ram Charan, in a dual role. The movie also stars the beautiful Kajal and also the petite Amala Paul, whom Ram Charan’s characters romances in the movie.The music for this movie has been composed by Thaman. The movie is being produced by DVV Danayya under Universal Media banner The movie is all set to have a Sankranthi release.

Nani-Samantha’s deleted delight

It is nearing completion and C.Kalyan producer of the film says film will be releasing on Dec 14th/ He says the film is a touching love story with Nani, Samantha’s love chemistry sure to spellbound movie lovers. Ilayaraja’s music is an asset to the film.

According to latest information both Nani and Samantha are getting ready to give deleted delight to movie lovers. Buzz is the makers of Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu have decided to release the deleted scenes of the movie, as a part of a unique promotion campaign for the movie.

These deleted scenes are not a part of the film. Usually, these deleted scenes are a part of the DVD package and are available after the film’s release. But this is the first time that the makers of a movie are releasing the deleted scenes for the public as part of the promotion of the movie. The movie’s tag line is ‘This could be your love story’ and so the scenes will be released along the same lines like ‘this could be your first date’ , ‘this could be your first fight’ and ‘this could be your birthday.

The movie preview consists of all these scenes. Gowtham Menon says that the he wants the viewers to know the characters better before they come to watch them on screen. So they have included the scenes of the actors’ in school and college and also as adults. It has to be seen how Nani-Samantha’s deleted love making will help in the promos of the film.

Veena Malik’s real life ‘Nagna Satyam’

Hot ISI bomb Veena Malik is making her Tollywood debut in a film titled ‘Nagna Satyam’. Even before the film is released she is enacting her real life ‘Nagna Satyam’.She was recently spotted with Hemant Madhukar. They were caught having drinks together and cuddling each other. The pictures have already found their space on the internet.

Both were invited as special guests by the producer Uday Shankar, who threw a party on the occasion of audio release function of the movie Made in Vizag. Hemant had reached before Veena on the party.When Veena arrived, she went up to Hemant, hugged him and also locked lips with him. Hemant is the son of the veteran Telugu filmmaker K Baburao. Currently, he is donning the hat of the director of the upcoming Bollywood movie Mumbai 125kms. He is also a married man. Off late he has also been posting love-quotes on Tweeter.

One wonder whether Veena is really in love with Hemant or doing it to gain some media attention. Veena who is starring in movie The City That Never Sleeps in the pipeline,is eying Guinness World Record by giving the maximum number of kisses Initially, she had denied her links with Hemant. But with these photographs out before the public, it will be difficult for her to get away with a simple denial. Veena has also been previously linked with Ashmit Patel.

Samantha to disappoint fans !

Fans of Samantha who are eagerly waiting to listen hear her voice in Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu will have to wait longer. The actress will not be dubbing for the movie. However, the trailers have her voice. Earlier it was said that Samantha will be dubbing in her own voice for YVM. The Tamil version Neethane En Ponvasantham will be dubbed by Samantha herself. She hit twitter to make his announcement, “Did not dub for yvm.. Sorry.. Only the trailers have my voice.. Don’t want to risk it.. And disappoint chinmayi’s fans..”

The movie is a bilingual film releasing in Tamil and Telugu languages. Samantha is the heroine in both versions. Hero Jiiva who earlier seen in Rangam movie will be playing the lead role in Tamil version titled “Neethane En Ponvasantham”.

Slight delay in SVSC audio release

Fans of Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu had to wait a bit longer to lay hands on the audio CD of Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. The  audio release function of the movie which was scheduled for 13th December on the eve of Venkatesh’s Birthday has been postponed. Technical reasons have been cited for this delay. The new date is December 15th. “Except two filming of two songs, entire shooting has been wrapped up. So we are happy to announce the music launch and movie release dates, ” said producer Dil Raju.

Recently the climax sequence of the movie was canned at a specially erected set of Bhadrachalam Temple complex at Ramoji Film City. SVSC has music by Mickey J Meyer.  The film will hit the big-screens for Sankranthi on 11th January, 2013 worldwide.

Viswaroopam to be banned ?

Universal Hero Kamal Hassan is due for a big success for a long. He is currently acting and producing a big budget movie Viswaroopam and the actor  has been in negotiations with a number of all India distributors to sell Tamil, Telugu and Hindi version of Vishwaroopam for a total of Rs. 100 Crores. But that did not seem to materialize resulting in further delays.The actor is planning to release his latest release Viswaroopam on all major channels in India in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages along with the theatrical release. Kamal had reportedly earned 50C from this deal.

This news had spread in the industry like a wildfire. Gunashekar scouting locations in Warangal

After a series of heavy flops, Gunashekar’s career is at cross roads. He desperately needs a hit with this movie to steady his ship. So, he is putting his 100% efforts in his next project, Rudramma Devi. He had recently being to Germany for the trial shoot of the movie and is now in Warangal for scouting locations.  He along with art director Thota Tharani are now in Warangal visiting historical monuments like 1000 pillars temple, Ramappa Temple and others.

Guna will himself produce the movie and had roped in some top class technicians on to the project. Director Gunasekhar says that the film will be India’s first historical stereoscopic 3D film and the regular shooting of the movie will begin in February 2013.

Nani is the busiest hero in Tollywood !

Post the success of Eega, Nani is being flooded with several new offers. He is currently preoccupied with three movies already and is finding it difficult to share his dates. And now one more movie had been added in to his filmography. He is signed as the main lead in the Telugu and Tamil remake of Band Baaja Baaraat, have confirmed that he has agreed to do the remake of Bollywood super hit.  Previously, there were several names associated to this project but YRF’s announcement had make it clear.

Banda Baaja Baaraat (2010) made Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh into big stars. Gokul, an associate of director Vishnuvardhan (of Panjaa fame), is now planning to remake Band Baaja Baaraat in Tamil and Telugu. The makers are planning to rope in Ishaqzzade fame Parineeti Chopra to play the female lead opposite Nani.

Norms flouted for Chiranjeevi?

Megastar Chiranjeevi after becoming Union Minister is trying to be in  news in one way or the other so that he will be remembered by people. Couple of days back he lavished praises on CM Kiran as if he is a top leader from Cong High Command coming here to monitor the performance of CM Kiran. Similarly after SC ST subplan he claimed it was his victory and only on this condition he merged his PRP with Cong after getting promise from Sonia Gandhi.

To claim credit yesterday he addressed press conference in assembly premises when the session was in progress. All the norms were flouted by the ruling party to accommodate its Union Minister to address the scribes. This even after Speaker Nadendla Manohar has recently issued orders that there should be no media conferences when the house was in session. Media and political leaders are now permitted inside the assembly premises only half-an-hour after the session closes.

Because of Chiranjeevi’s ignorance of the procedures and the over-enthusiasm of the assembly staff, a serious situation has arisen which would have resulted in some heads rolling.  Chiru in an attempt to save the jobs of staff, owned responsibility for the faux pause.

CM KKR is ‘Kiri Kiri’ Reddy?

While CM Kiran Kumar Reddy is spending sleepless nights to tackle dissent inside the party and also handle the opposition attack inside and outside assembly, opposition parties are going hammer and tongs on him. TDP president Chandra Babu Naidu who is busy enjoying his state wide padayatra in the runup for assembly elections made fun of CM kiran Kumar Reddy saying he is not Kiran Kumar Reddy but ‘Kiri Kiri’ Reddy.

Launching an allout attack he said one doesn’t know how much he improved in giving good administration to people but he improved a lot in giving retort after retort to opposition’s legitimate questions with out any justification and logic. Chabdra Babu was referring to Minister DL.Ravindra Reddy opposing Cabinet decision of not giving permission to CBI to prosecute former minister Dharmana Prasada Rao, CM Kiran went one step further warning that he can remove or sack the minister differing from the collective decision of the cabinet.

CBN is also referring to Kiran’s comments showing his hair while responding to MLA Peddireddy’s allegations that his brother is acting like extra constitutional authority. One wonder whether CM Kiran takes it as a compliment or attack from CBN.

Prince Rahul’s love for Ja’Gun’

Now it seems Prince Rahula and Sonia Gandhi is coming to the terms of stark reality in Andhra Pradesh. When it chose to insult former CM YSR and throw his son Jagan out of party and send packing in jail, it did not expect him to grow in such powerful manner and such enormous proportions.

When Jagan even from jail started sending shock waves making MIM withdraw support, Cong realized that he is a formidable person and it is better to have an understanding with him. Rahul’s personal emissaries started inquiring about having a pact or trying to bring him back to Cong party and JC.Diwakar Reddy said if cases are waved off and promised CM post he will consider it.

While some say Jagan may come to party once again others rule out such possibility as he has not forgotten the treatment meted out by Sonia and Rahul. Those who know him vouch that he is not of the kind who forgets and forgive all but will exact revenge in a powerful manner.
