Tollywood has many young and energetic stars who scaled the dizzy heights at a very young age. Be it Prince Mahesh Babu, Mega Power Star Ram Charan Teja, Young Tiger NTR, Stylish Star Allu Arjun, Young Rebel Star Prabhas or Hot Hunk Rana all have different styles of acting and energy levels to entertain movie lovers with their stylish performances. However movie lovers has seen all these young turks are only for select few sensuous beauties and not for all.

This film analysts and trade experts along with movie lovers feel that this is bring in a bit of routine experience and monotonous moments in the film. Who ever may be the hero,either Samantha, Kajal, Tamanna, Ileana, Nayanatara, Tapsee and a select few. Even seniors like Natasimha Balakrishna, King Nagarjuna and Victory Venkatesh are not widening their net to cast new stars. Many movie lovers are longing for freshness on silver screen which can be experienced only when new stunning beauties are introduced to the industry.

They wonder why film makers who are roping in hot overseas babes for item numbers are not doing the same in case of heroines. People are waiting for answers from directors, film makers and more importantly top stars.

 

Tollywood film makers find some soft targets and make them laughing stock in their films in the name of entertainment. They try to pass their cheap dialogues that hurt the sentiments of particular community and section of people, as healthy comedy. People at the spurt of the moment may laugh at that time but after second thoughts even they will be wondering how could they have laughed at those dialogues.

Some of the soft targets of film makers include lecturers, police force, priests. They show lecturers and principals as jokers and buffoons with students making them striptease in front of full public gaze. They highlight eve teasing as heroism even though they realize that in real life those acts are forcing females to commit suicides and rapes are increasing day by day.They show entire police force as dishonest and sometimes jokers who doesn’t know basic English.

Their favorite punching bag is Brahmin community and priests in particular. They depict them as novices in their profession, don’t know any traditional rituals. One can see that in Adurs where MS.Narayana was shown he doesn’t have any knowledge of 18 sakthi peethas. In Denikaina Ready, Brahmin woman was shown comparing everyone with her husband AVS and even dancing with them falling on their shoulders. Not to say about the dialogues which mocked Brahmins overall. These films are only examples and there are many in most of the films.

Even Censor Board and Govt’s apathy towards Brahmin community is well known as they know that Brahmins are the most tolerant lot and don’t have enough political power to indulge in violence unlike other communities and force Govt to act. This was seen as no action was taken on film ‘Women in Brahminism’ despite wide spread agitations.

 

Now a days those who happened to watch latest telugu films feel that there are lot of tamil beats in them. To the top of it most of the stars are from Kollywood and one gets the feeling as if they are watching a tamil film or a dubbed version. Denikaina Ready which hit the screens yesterday has starcast of Sivaji Ganesan son Prabhu. Even the music director is from Tamil Nadu. Yuvan Shankar Raja, son of Ilayaraja loaded the film with full of mass beats. Even the lyricists loaded the film with tamil words and choreography has popular kollywood kuttus. Movie lovers couldn’t digest watching Hansika dance to those tunes. This may go in sync with Kollywood movie lovers but film makers could have thought twice before including these beats in telugu film.

 As if this was not enough the support dancers sported lungis and were seen enacting kollywood steps. One wonder what was the intention of film makers. They had plans to release the film in Malayalam and may even release it in tamil. But they seems to have forgotten the fact that the film is a straight telugu film and not vice versa. Hope from next time film makers bring in traditional telugu flavor to the films.

Puri Jagannath’s ‘Cameraman Gangato Rambabu’ starring Pawan Kalyan and Tamanna plunged into unwanted controversy after the first day of screening. The film got average talk with film critics giving thumbsdown to the film for the substandard direction and screenplay except for few powerful dialogues. However from the very next day it all started with TDP burning the flexies of the film in Kurnool alleging that the film makers mocked their leader Chandra Babu Naidu. The moment it was subduing telangana parties started attacking theaters and film makers offices alleging that the film hurt their sentiments.

A close look at how the attacks erupted, one gets the feeling that all this was due to some rumors and analysis by various websites of the film. Most of the websites wrote reviews in similar manner that it was below avg film but for Pawan’s action and Puri’s punches. In some sites they wrote that the film’s characters resembled that of rivalry between YS.Rajasekhar Reddy and Chandra Babu Naidu, relating negative roles in the film Chandra Sekhar Reddy and opposition leader twice CM, trying to make his son Rana Babu CM. However they got all wrong as they tried relating CBN to that of both the villain characters Kota and Prakash Raj. So the dispute died down.

However one doesn’t know who lit the telangana feelings but some sites surely must have done or otherwise no one would have even thought about the film. So media should report in a responsible manner rather than cook some rumors which results in huge losses to all.
