After her brief stint with NTR in Brindavanam, Sexy Siren Samantha is all set to pair up with NTR in his new movie directed by Harish Shankar. The movie will have its muhurath on October 18th and the regular shooting of the movie will begin in November.

The movie is touted to be an out and out commercial entertainer.The yet-to-be-titled movie is to be produced by Dil Raju on his Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. The director Harish Shankar is currently busy with the script work. Other cast and crew details are yet to be announced will take place.

Posts like Chief Minister and Prime Minister are most revered and who ever sits in that post, people respect irrespective of the qualification or history of that person. However most of the people are surprised by the ongoing rivalry between CM Kiran and Health Minister DL.Ravindra Reddy. Even Cong leaders are stunned by their behavior. Their relationship reached to such point of no return that even when both are present at the same stage at a function, they are not willing to take each others name. Dl.Ravindra Reddy during his speech, did not even mention CM or his name but just concluded by mentioning Azad’s name. While CM Kiran who spoke later though DL.Ravindra Reddy did not mention his name, in his speech after Azad’s name, referred to him, saying his colleague DL. Cong leaders and onlookers are saying that had DL practiced minimum decorum in public irrespective of his differences with CM, it would have been honorable.
 
It has to be seen where their rivalry will lead to and how it will effect the functioning of the respective department and implementation of Govt schemes.

144 Section will be Imposed by police during emergencies so that it bars people mobolising mobs to go on protests increasing the tensions.According to the section, four or more people should be seen in a group. For more than two months there was no cabinet meeting held in Secretariat by the Govt. When curious onlookers and media tried to find out by enquiring some leaders, one wily leader humorously remarked that for a cabinet meet more than 30 people will come. But how can it be possible when 144 section is under force at Secretariat.
 
This shows how callously Govt and its ministers are considering the burning problems of people. Even when cabinet meet is held, ministers fight between themselves or try to target CM without allowing him to function. Some don’t even attend the meet as a protest against CM. When media asked during olden days kings used to have a big bell outside their fort so that whenever poor and needy finds the necessity they can ring the bell at any time. Rulers used to come out to solve the problems any time where ever they were.
 
For this the leaders said when media itself is reporting that Govt is not having any work why to trouble people from other places making them come all the way from their villages and get disappointed when their work is not completed by the inefficient govt. They went on to add that all these steps were taken for the benefit of the people but rued that no one understands the value of their steps.

Tollywood silver screen is getting ready for some special effects and double impacts in the form of Dasara dhamakas and Diwali delights along with Sankranthi sweets. This is also showing a new picture on tollywood silver screen. Most of the top tollywood heroes are planning to scale overseas heights conquering the markets.
 
One will be surprised to know that overseas markets demand and competition is equivalent to that of prestigious Nizam rights. Till recently only Bollywood heroes used to talk about overseas markets but now with the entry of genex heroes Tollywood scenario changes.
 
Now Nagarjuna, Pawan Kalyan are targeting Dasara while Mahesh and Venkatesh together are eying Xmas eve while Ramcharan, Prabhas, NTR, Badshah are fixing next year targets. So fans are in for a full treat of films starting from Damarukam, CGR, SVSC, Nayak, Varadhi, Badshah, Shadow.
 
All the heroes have single point agenda to rake in as much money as possible at box office in the first ten days in record number of theatres. Overseas viewers are deciding to watch the films based on reviews that appear online and so producer is depending on overseas market to sell his hero. That was the reason why one or two overseas distributors now increased to more than ten.
 
There are more than 75 lakhs telugu people in overseas and most of the tollywood films follow bollywood films. The market is revolving around NTR,Ramcharan, Pawankalyan, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Prabhas, Siddharth. Distribution rights are sold for aroundRs1-Rs5crs for a top star’s film while small budget films quote around Rs 10lakhs.  Magadheera was released in 1500 theatres across 15 countries while Businessman was released in 2000 theatres. Even Eega was released in same number of theatres.
 
Overseas distributors grade heroes according to their craze and as such Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan are in A++, while directors Sekhar Kammula and Trivikram Srinivas got similar grading. Nagarjuna, NTR, Dil Raju, Ram Charan got A rating while Allu Arjun and Prabhas got A -. Gradings are arrived after analysing 10days overseas collections. 10days overseas collections is equivalent to 100days in India.

TRS searching for answers

TRS and its chief KCR which used to be the tiger of Telananga and converted the entire region as its impregnable fortress is now suddenly left searching for answers. This was its own doing rather than the talent and strength of its opponents who were subdued for long. Everything happened with its chief KCR boasting of signals from Union Govt and Cong High Command especially Sonia Gandhi.
 
KCR gave an impression that before the grand telangana march at necklace road, a delightful announcement on Telangana State would come from  Center. However even after KCR spending more than a month in Delhi, nothing happened and to the top of it, negative statements started coming from Union Govt. Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde and antoehr minister Ghulam Nabi Azad said in unequivocal terms that Telananga is not possible.
 
This left TRS and KCR searching for answers as entire telangaites and NGOs started blasting them with even other political parties that used to be scared of TRS joining the group. Now TRS changed track and started saying it never set any deadlines on telangana and their talks are not with Cong but with Centre. But it couldn’t respond to questions that when the talks with Cong are in prelim stages how come their chief talk of favorable signals on telangana.

T-Activists slam Nandi Awards

AP Govt couple of days back announced Nandi Awards and some of the awards not only raised eye brows of movie lovers but also derived scathing criticism from telangana activists and dalit organisations. The Jury declared N.Shankar who directed ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’ as the best director and even awarded the film as the best film in National Integration category. This made one wonder howcome a film that was made to demand bifurcation of state can be given an award for the best film for national integration. Shankar speaking to media said “I am happy that even Govt recognized my efforts.The film Jai Bolo Telangana moved not only commoners but also educated lot. It highlighted the fact that some few investers for their vested interests are dividing wedge between people.I got recognition earlier also but I am more happy with thi snandi. This Nandi is dedicated to telangana people and telangana warriors who lost their lives. I thank the jury for understanding the creativity and feelings of telangana people”

The jury even presented best singer award to peoples singer Gaddar for his song ‘Podustunna Poddumeeda Nadustunna Kaalama’ in the film Jai Bolo Telangana. The moment this news came various Dalit Organisations grew furious and  questioned how come Govt follow double standards slapping cases on Gaddar for Telangana march on Oct 30th and at the same time give awards to him. They demanded if Govt is honest they should arrest those who attacked Gaddar during 1997. They said Govt gave award to the telangana song which highlighted the tribulations of telangana people, but they did not understand people’s problems.

One have to wait for the response from the Govt.

Sonia Son in Law-Punching Bag for AP Parties

Being related to some one most powerful not only politically but also across the world who can influence any decision will have its advantages and disadvantages. Now All powerful Sonia Gandhi, UPA Chairperson, Son in Law Robert Wadhra is in neck deep scams and is trying to wriggle out of it. Entire Union Govt and its cabinet of ministers in the first of its kind, started batting for non political person, just because he happens to be Sonia’s on in law.

Robert Wadra’s scams did not stop there as he has become even opposition parties in Andhra Pradesh’s favorite punching bag. While TDP president Chandra Babu already started demanding thorough enquiry on Wadra, even smaller parties like TRS, BJP, CPI and others launched scatching attack on him.

In the midst of all this pressure is mounting on YS.Vijayamma of YSRCP not to miss the opportunity and show the power of Cuddapah and YSR family. They are advocating to file PIL against Wadra in SC so that Sonia could be taught a fitting lesson. They are of the opinion that since Sonia insulted YSR family and sent Jagan to jail on quid pro quo charges, her son in law’s case in DLF amounts to even more quid pro quo decisions and should not be left in any manner.

They say any delay in going hammer and tongs on Wadra will give an opportunity for opponents to take the party alleging understanding between them and Cong. Vijayamma however did not take any direct questions on Robert Wadra from media and said she will discuss the issue with Jagan and take on final decision.

Rana running away from success

When Rana made his debut with off beat film like ‘Leader’ under versatile director Sekhar Kammula’s direction, everyone praised his guts for chosing a completely different theme for his debut unlike others who select Love Stories as safe bet. When he made his Bollywood debut the very next moment, once again Tollywood fraternity hailed his boldness to take on the best in Bollywood. He atonce made an impression in Bollywood and when he rubbed shoulders with none other than Big B Amitabh Bachchan everyone was in awe with him.

However when news came about his foray into Hollywood and more recently into Kollywood films one wonder whether Rana is planning his career in a right manner or in his quest to prove himself as versatile actor cutting across languages and creativity, running away from success. He did not have any hits in Tollywood with Nenu Na Rakshasi and Naa Ishtam failing miserably at Box Office and is pinning all his hopes on Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum.

Now the Buzz is Rana will play a tribal lord in the period film set in 5000 BC.The film attempts a realistic depiction of the tribal clan that fought hard to protect its habitat and Rana would be heading a small army of spirited and courageous fighters who take on mighty invaders. He will be teaming up with Simu under Selva Raghavan’s direction. Many analysts are of the opinion that he should prove himself in one industry before setting his sights to conquer the world.

Samantha better off without films

Samantha who skyrocked to stardom with in no time after spellbounding all on her debut film ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ turned heat on in Tollywood with films like Brindavanam, Dookudu, Eega with NTR, Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli. The mega success of all these films landed her in sensational projects like ‘Autonagar Surya’,’Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’, ‘Yevadu’ and others opposite Naga Chaitanya, Mahesh Babu and Ram Charan.

However this Sensuous beauty  walked out of some crazy projects much to the shock of all . She raised many eye browswhen she walked out of Maniratnam’s Kadal and Shankar’s ‘I’  citing dates problems and ill health but after watching her recent moves one couldn’t but think that Samantha is better off with out films.

Samantha realized that it is better to be a brand ambassador for some companies and participate in some shop and showroom openings. She can charge Rs 10lakhs per hour for a showroom opening rather than spend entire day at shooting spot giving her dates in bulk, This was the reason why Sams rejected a golden opportunity opposite Power Star Pawan Kalyan. She told film makers that she wont be signing any new films till she completes current projects. Many are heard commenting if some one contacts her for showroom openings they will definitely get her call sheets immediately.

CMGR heading towards Record Release

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s much awaited movie of the year, Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu is all set to release on October 18th. Huge amount of money is involved in the movie trade and the distributors are making sure that the movie gets biggest possible release in all areas and thereby pocketing huge opening. In the all important Nizam region, The movie is so far confirmed in 197 theaters. Out of which, 84 are in Hyderabad city and the rest of the 113 are in remaining districts. The highest in the region so far is 291 theaters for Mahesh Babu’s Business Man. Out of which, 96 theatres are in Hyderabad city.

Milky beauty Tamannah is playing the female lead in the movie. Pawan Kalyan is playing the role of a TV Reporter and Tamannah plays his assistant as Cameraman. Puri Jagannath is directing Pawan Kalyan after 10 years of their Badri. Mani Sharma is composing the music. DVV Danayya is producing the movie on his Universal media banner.

Baadshah resumes shooting in Hyderabad

Young Tiger NTR’s upcoming movie Baadshah will begin the latest schedule of the movie in Hyderabad from today. So far, the film has been shot in Europe, Bangkok and Hyderabad. Srinu Vaitla is directing the film and already more than 50% of the film has already been shot.

Kajal is playing the female lead. Navdeep and Kelly Dorjee will be seen in negative roles in this action entertainer.  Gopi Mohan and Kona Venkat are writing the script along with Sreenu Vaitla. Thaman is composing the music. The entire film unit is confident that the film is going to be a massive blockbuster.

Mahesh resumes Sukumar movie shooting

Mahesh Babu has joined the sets of Sukumar’s upcoming film. The film unit flew to Goa and the latest schedule is set to begin from today. Krithi Sanon is going to make her debut in Telugu cinema with this film. The first schedule of the movie was completed several months ago and the movie shooting was halted midway as Mahesh alloted his dates for the completion of Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.

Anil Sunkara, Gopichand and Ram Achanta are producing the film under 14 Reels Entertainments banner. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music.

Damarukam Releasing on 20th

There is incredible confusion about the release of Akkineni Nagarjuna’s ‘Damarukam’ and the latest reports coming out now suggest that the movie will make it on October 20th. There was an air of confusion among the makers themselves regarding the release date as Pawan Kalyan’s Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu is releasing on 18th. Finally, a distance of two days is maintained.

Damarukam is directed by Srinivas Reddy and produced by Dr Venkat under RR Movie Makers banner. Devi sri Prasad is music director. Cinematography is by Chota K Naidu.Anushka is once again pairing opposite Nagarjuna.

Sonia servant Shankar Rao goes missing

Former Minister Shankar Rao who boasts to be die hard Sonia servant and poses as if he is the only honest person in the country went missing since yesterday. Yesterday High Court lifted stay on Shankar Rao’s non bailable warrant which he got in a an encroachment case in Greenfield.
 
Residents of Green Field locality, Alwal approached Malkajgiri police and complained against Shankar Rao and his brother Dayanand that both were trying to encroach their houses by forging the documents. However Shankar Rao escaped action at that time, getting a stay on his arrest warrant. Now that the stay is lifted Cyberabad police went to his house for questioning only to find him missing and even his cell phone switched off.
 
Shankar Rao went hammer and tongs at the corruption in YSR Govt and even the continuance of the same ministers in Rosaiah and Kiran cabinet. He did not mend his ways even when he was made Minister,which prompted high command to sack him. When High Court directed CBI inquiry into Jagan’s cases he proudly declared that he filed SLP in court at the behest of Sonia Gandhi. It has to be seen how Cong High Command and Sonia reacts to Shankar Rao’s episode.

People who are watching Mega Star Chiranjeevi started pitying him for the condition he is currently finding himself. He once ruled Tollywood unchallenged for decades and with the ambition to continue the same in political arena launched his Praja Rayam with much fanfare. But without a sound he quickly merged his party with Cong for the sake of power. Many warned during that time about Cong famous use and throw policy. However as they say love is blind, his love for power did not allow him to see ground realities.
 
For long there were reports that Chiru will be made Union Minister, Chief Minister etc but till now nothing happened. When ever there happened to be rumors about cabinet expansion, Chiru started looking expectantly but all his hopes seems to be crashing. Now he is being treated as a ordinary leader in Cong, and many say time is not far when he will treated as one of the cadre.
 
Chiru who is disillusioned is of the opinion that if he expresses his desire in public indirectly, then it would reach Cong High Command, started telling in public functions that people like him to see as Chief Minister or Cabinet Minister. When even that did not yield results, he started expressing himself directly saying he love to become cabinet minister, sending direct and indirect love signals. It has to be seen how Cong High Command and Sonia reciprocate to Chiru’s signals.

Azad brushes his T-Knowledge

Union Health Minister and AP state incharge from Congress Party, Ghulam Nabi Azad who was presiding over the meeting of Health Ministers of Southern States suddenly decided to brush up his T knowledge.
 
Off late he has issues many statements against the formation of telangana much to the chargin of telananga parties and people. Many were up in arms and questioned his knowledge on telangana. He was even mocked at for questioning what is telangana and where it is located.
 
Azad seems to be feeling the heat and before countering them with his statements decided to brush up his knowledge on Telangana issue. While discussing the issue with state health Minister DL.Ravindra Reddy, Azad was of the opinion that in 2009 AP Assembly passed a resolution on Telangana. Then DL.Ravindra Reddy clarified that during YSR regime, he only constituted a committee headed by Rosaiah to starttalks with the stake holders. Azad even got clarified on this issue by calling Shabbir Ali who used to be a Minister during 2009.
 
Azad even sought assembly records of the formation of Rosaiah Committee. Shabbir Ali then collected all the details and handed over to Azad at Samshabad airport. Buzz is Azad studied the 2 page report carefully and then clarified his doubts on telangana.

Babu prides in his astrology

TDP Supremo Chandra Babu Naidu is a very keen strategist and even more a wily politician. He can manipulate things and his skills even earned him the name of modern day ‘Chanakya’. He suffered a shock defeat in 2004 assembly elections after ruling the state for record 9yrs as CM and till now he did not come back to power brining down the morale of his party’s cadre. When many thought that he will be taking advantage of state situation after YSR, KCR with his telangana agitation spoiled the field for him, while Jagan juggernaut rolled in seemandhra.
 
Many always mock fun at Babu for his statement on power when he stated that free power is not possible and electric wires can be better used to dry clothes. Now CBN is happy that his prophecy and astrology came true as people are experiencing acute power cut. But one wonder whether people will reward Babu with Power since his astrology on power turned out to be true.

Gopi Chand latest movie titled ‘Jackpot’!

Lots of schools have already declared Dasara holidays from tomorrow. Remaining schools will have Dasara holidays from 19th onwards. The Dasara festival falls on 24 October this year. In order to cash on the advantage of Dasara season, we have three films releasing in a gap of 6 days.

Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu, Damarukam and Denikaina Ready are going to release on 18th, 19th and 24th of this year respectively. Though it’s highly risky and dangerous to have such a big films of huge profile like CGR and Damarukam, the makers have gone ahead and release during the same period because it helps the distributors and exhibitors enormously due to festival season. lets hope that all these three films emerge as winners.

Rey nears completion

The shooting of YVS Chowdhary’s upcoming film Rey is nearing completion. The film has been under production for more than a year and for the past few months, the film unit had been travelling all over US including cities like New York, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Trinidada & Tobago, apart from Hyderabad. The last schedule of the film is currently going on in Bangkok and the entire shooting of the film is going to be wrapped up in November.

Rey is a musical film in which the hero based in Carribean fights it out his way up. It seems Sai Dharam Tej and Saiyami Kher will be seen as professional dancers and Shraddha Das will play a pop diva. The first half of the film will take place in West Indies while the second half will be shot in the US. Chakri is composing the music
