Pawan Kalyan resolves Puri – Danayya rift!

It was a hot topic in the media when Puri Jagannath launched a complaint with Directors’ council on Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu producer for not paying him 4Crore. Later, the producer assured that the issue will be resolved directly between him and Puri which only arose due to a misunderstanding. There were several rumours that the issue was not resolved and Puri is shying away from the post production of the movie.

Here is a little clarity from our side. Pawan Kalyan who stayed way from this issue so far had called both the director and Producer and reportedly solved the issue amicably. Puri will now begin the publicity of the movie from today. A Press meet will be conducted today in Puri’s office regardsing the same.

Amala Akkineni – A Unique force in Tollywood

A new broke out on Monday evening that Amala Akkineni, wife of actor Nagarjuna was arrested by the Charminar police in connection with a Greenpeace protest she is in. Amala along with other activists put up a banner on the historic Charminar against coal mining and deforestation. She was later released on bail.

However, praises are being heaped from all corners on Amala for the fight she put on. She is constantly fighting for Animal welfare and other environmental issues from years. Amala is a rarity. She hails from a wealthy family and huge back ground but fights solemnly for a good cause. Not to leave out, Nagarjuna should be commended for cooperating with her in every move of her.

Both Rajasekhar and Suresh Krishna are small time film makers who spend time opening offices with 4-5 people and select beautiful ladies after conducting some talent tests. Film Nagar sources say these kind of people are turning these bogus talent tests as a way to prostitution and many gals are getting cheated who can be seen in Madhuranagar, Yousufguda, Maruti Nagar, Film Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Rehmat Nagar but they wont be complaining as they lack courage to take them on.

Bandla Ganesh gets a costly gift to Puri

Puri Jagannath received a surprise gift from Producer Bandla Ganesh who is going to produce his next movie, Iddarammayilatho. The comedian turned producer gifted the director a diamond-studded cigarette lighter worth 44 Lakhs! The lighter contains 1,455 diamonds, apart from several other features. However, Ganesh adds that Puri is worth much more than this.

Puri had just returned from a Bangkok trip where he had finished penning of the script of Iddarammayilatho. The movie will go on to floors towards the end of the month. Amala Paul is one of the two heroines. Devi Sri Prasad will be composing the music.

Autonagar Surya postponed again

The release date of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha starer Autonagar has now been pushed to December. Deva Katta has announced that the much-awaited action entertainer is now eyeing December 2 release.Deva Katta posted on his micro blogging site “our producer hav decided to push d release of ANS to december. 2 songs yet to be canned. wil release first look 1 week b’fore audio release” (sic). The film has completed its entire shooting except for two songs.

The movie shooting is complete except for 2 songs. Samantha is the love interest of Chaitanya in the movie. The movie is being produced by K Achi Reddy under Max India banner while RR Movie Makers presenting it. Anoop Rubens is the music director of the film.

Is Talaash related to Aarushi murder case?

There were rumours that Aamir Khan’s Talaash is based on the sensational murder case of Aarushi Talwaar. However, Producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar are disturbed with the rumours and had asserted that the movie has anything in common with the Aarushi Talwar murder investigation that is currently underway.

They said,”Our film is a work of fiction that bears no resemblance to the Aarushi case. We do not believe in exploiting other people’s tragedies. The story was misguided and in very bad taste. We urge everyone to ignore it.”

Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji, Kareena Kapoor film Talaash is all set to release worldwide on November 30.

Mahesh Babu’s party had ended in one year itself. Last year the actor was signed as the brand ambassador for Thums Up National wide. However, the Sales Analysis team of the company did not find Mahesh’s brand much useful in other states and had suggested to replace Salman Khan in the National wide campaign.

The Company has also signed an agreement with Being Human – The Salman Khan Foundation – to jointly promote, conceive and execute charitable and social activities. The Company’s partnership with Being Human takes forward the vision of both the organizations ensuring the sustainability of communities and their welfare.Salman, who is riding high on back-to-back hits, says he is looking forward to the partnership with Thums Up, “a soft drink that I have grown up with”.

Skyrocketing production costs scarring film makers

Film making recently has become extremely costly affair and with the high risks involved many top production houses are closing their operations unable to come to the terms of the shooting skyrocketing production costs. Sometime back many film makers small and big held a meeting at Film Chamber, Hyderabad and they have taken some important decisions.
 
Many film makers requested top heroes to reduce their remuneration by 30%. They have even taken a decision to complete all films with in 45 days so that production costs will not shoot up. Around 130 film makers attended the meeting and some worried film makers to bring down shooting production costs even threatened to stop shooting of all the films so that thopse involved in film making will realize the urgency of the issue.
 
No one can deny the fact that even a small film is shooting atleast a song in overseas in the name of richness and are releasing the film’s audio on a grand scale inviting top tollywood personalities. Promoting of the films, organizing of success meets and other marketing techniques are drilling holes to the pockets of producers. Even top banners like RR.Movie makers suffered losses in film making and if no one pays attention to shooting production costs, then film makers will be scared of making films in near future.

Politics in India is a family business and people enter politics only to make money or gain undue favors with the powers that are ruling the country and state for their business entities. Parties ruling the stae and centre are no different and everywhere one can notice family rule irrespective of the party that is ruling the state. However currently there are similarities between Andhra Pradesh state and Central Govt.
 
In Andhra Pradesh there is strong wave in favor of late YSR widow Vijayamma,her son Jagan. Jagan after starting his career as entrepreneur became powerful MP and even internationally acclaimed all powerful Sonia Gandhi found it extremely difficult to tackle him. Somehow she managed to send him packing to chanchalguda jail but she is paying heavy cost as some of her state cabinet ministers were also found tangled in the case.
 
Sonia Gandhi is all powerful and omnipresent and can do anything without questioning. If anyone questions her they would be branded as traitors. Her Son Rahul Gandhi is aspiring to become PM just like Jagan dreaming of becoming CM. Sonia’s son in law Robert Wadra is a powerful entrepreneur who amassed lot of wealth ten times more than that of Jagan. Even Vijayamma’s son in law Brother Anil has lot of businesses.
 
So there are lot of similarities between Rajiv Gandhi family Sonia-Rahul-Robert and YSR family Vijayamma-Jagan-Anil. So there may be lot of understanding and both the families may even come to some sort of understanding in future.

KCR’s Telangana Kahaanis

Contrary to the general impression that KCR will hang his head in shame by the way he was insulted in Delhi, he still started saying his own famous kahaanis on telangana. KCR is known for kahaanis like center would come out with an announcement in a month’s time, telangana is on the anvil, TRS will merge after the formation of telangana, he is receiving signals on telangana etc. Even recently while there was no movement on Telangana at Center and Union Govt did not even utter a single word, KCR started boasting about signals. When media questioned him where were the signals and when some even wrote articles about 
KCR’s signals, he became furious and went hammer and tongs on media.
 
He spent a month in Delhi meeting many top Cong leaders and when he started giving statements that he was in Delhi on the invitation of Sonia Gandhi and Cong high command, Cong prominent leaders ripped him apart that no one invited him for any talks and he came on his own. Even after such insults and returning back from Delhi empty handed with blatant damage to his reputation, KCR started telling the same Kahaanis.
 
He says telangana announcement will come during Dasara and center will be giving dasara present to all telangana people by announcing formation of Telangana state. One wonder for howlong KCR can think of fooling people.

Media hype may backfire on Babu ?

When NTR launched TDP, he was blessed with anti incumbency wave against ruling congress. Even print media hailed the entry of NTR into politics and Ramoji Rao’s Eenadu gave extensive coverage to his Chaitanaya Yatra which he under took during the election campaign. In a way media played an important role in TDP and NTR’s historical landslide victory.
 
From the beginning TDP is the only party which enjoyed the support of media thanks to Eenaadu. Most recently other political parties realized the importance of media and YSR launched Sakshi, which now turned YSRCP’s official media.CBN’s son Lokesh bought stakes in Studio N and now with Andhrajyothi supporting TDP’s cause fully to tackle its betenoire Jagan andYSRCP, TDP emerged powerful as media savvy political party.
 
However many including TSDP’s own cadre feel that extensive media hype on CBN and his current padayatra many backfire on Babu. They cite how media hype on Jagan’s corruption resulted in TDP getting wiped out in the byelections. Media is giving extensive coverage to each and every petty acts of Babu and most recently it covered a news item that he got a daily wage of Rs 1000 for one hour for working in a farm. TDP cadre feel that if media highlights in this manner, then everyone will think that people are betteroff in Cong rule. And even common man will curse Babu as how can he say people are getting Rs 1000 per hour as daily wages.

Sharmila to show YSRCP strength

YSR’s daughter Sharmila is all set to take the center stage as her brother Jagan is still languishing in Chanchalguda Jail. Hopes of YSRCP’s leaders and cadre received a set back when Jagan’s bail was rejected and the party in its efforts to cash in on to peoples sentiments and even to boost the sagging morale of the party cadre decided to bring in Sharmila, the chief architect of party’s bypoll victories.
 
When Jagan was sent to jail and when everyone including his political opponents thought that YSRCP will be drifting directionless without its leader, Sharmila and Vijayamma took upon themselves and campaigned vigorously ensuring victory for the party. Sharmila caught the attention of all with her striking similarities between her and her father YS.Rajasekhar Reddy. However after the victory , Sharmila disappeared from political arena much to the shock of YSRCP and delight of its opponents.
 
Now that Jagan’s bail rejected and its raival Chandra Babu getting wide coverage for his padayatra, YSRCP decided not to leave the field for Babu unopposed. They plan to unleash their secret weapon Sharmila and the buzz is she will be taking padayatra covering entire state soon. Initially it was decided Vijayamma and Bharati would be taking the yatra but considering Vijayamma’s age and Bharati’s corporate commitments it was decided that Sharmila will take the tour. It has to be seen what impact Sharmila’s yatra will have on CBN’s yatra.

Surprise Lovers of CBN letters!

Till recently many thought that only telangana TDP representatives were waiting eagerly for Chandra Babu’s letters on telangana formation to PM and Central Govt. However only now many came to know there were many political leaders in seemandhra who are waiting for CBN’s love letters on telangana. This may come as surprise but it is true. Telananga MPs from TDP are furious at some seemandhra MPs resigning from the party after CBN sent letter to PM on telangana asking him to convene an all party meet.
 
They feel that many MPs from that region have already prepared to leave the party whether or not Babu gives a letter but are waiting for the right opportunity. Now that Babu has given a letter, they resigned and joined YSRCP. T-TDP representatives allege that some of their seemandhra counterparts are feeling sad that Babu did not send the letter with much clarity. Had he sent letter demanding for separate state formation, they would have resigned from the party and jumped to Jagan’s party. Currently they are only voicing their opposition to CBN’s letter.
 
This revealed that there are many surprise lovers from seemandhra for CBN’s love letters on telangana.

Satellite rights cannot beat Super Star

But however hard and whatever means tollywood film makers try selling their film’s satellite rights lavishly they couldn’t beat Super Star. There wont be any prizes for guessing as he is one and only Rajani Kanth.
 
His blockbuster superhit film Robot was sold for Rs 8crs and even now it is the highest in Tollywood. If one analyses how some of the films sold their satellite rights then this fact will be understood. Mahesh Babu-Venkatesh multistarrer Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is currently second with its satellite rights sold for Rs 7.5 crs. Prince Mahesh’s Business Man was sold for Rs 7.4 crs. Ram Charan Teja’s Nayak’s satellite rights is said to have been sold for Rs 7.5-R8 crs while Nagarjuna’s Shirdi Sai fetched Rs 6crs and his upcoming film Damarukam sold for Rs 5.25 crs.
 
Julaayi was sold for Rs 5.75crs while Rajamouli’s Eega for Rs 4crs and earlier his superhit Magadheera for Rs 5.5crs. Rebel fetched Rs 5.5crs and Dammu Rs 5.5crs. Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh fetched only Rs5.5crs. Had film makers sold the film after the release of the film it would have fetched Rs 7crs. Racha was sold for Rs 6.25crs while Ravi Teja’s Nippu and Daruvu were sold for Rs 4.25 and Rs 4.75 crs respectively. Sekhar Kammula’s Life is Beautiful was bagged for Rs 3.5-4crs while Rana’s Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum went for Rs 3.5crs.
 
Vishnu’s Denikaina Ready fetched Rs 3.75crs while Sudigadu was sold for Rs 3/.75 crts. Onamalu fetched Rs 1crs. All this show the true power of Super star Rajanikanth and where our stars stand in comparision.

TDP President Chandra Babu Naidu is undertaking padayatara to come back to power. This is his last ditch effort after exhausting all his means. He was confident of coming back to power last elections itself as he strategically stitched a strong alliance against Cong Party. Tollywood silver screen for long has witnessed mass masala entertainers. However for the past year or so it seems movie lovers are witnessing some changing trend in tollywood. It all started with ‘Dookudu’ last year which turned out to be hilarious entertainer. Though the film starred Prince Mahesh Babu, the film mostly resembled Allari Naresh film for its out and out comedy. This year started off with Mahesh turning ‘Business Man’ and Venky received baton as ‘Bodyguard’. Mass entertainers like Racha, Adhinayakudu entertained and once again Naresh as Sudigadu turned the tide towards hiliarious entertainer taking cue from Power Star’s Gabbar Singh.

In between Julaayi provided a lovely entertainment while Prabhas showed all his superlative stunts as ‘Rebel’. In between Rajamouli’s graphical wonder ‘Eega’ thrilled while Ravi Babu’s ‘Avunu’ scared. Now socio fantasy flicks like ‘Damarukam’ from King Nag and Devaraya from Srikanth are coming to entertain movie lovers. Power Star’s ‘Cameraman Gangato Rambabu’ and Mahesh-Venky’s family film ‘SVSC’ arereadying themselves.

All in all Tollywood film makers didnot pack all the year with out and out mass entertainers but presented sumptuous and delicious film meals to movie lovers with mass, socio, class, romantic,hilarious,thrilling entertainers.

Venkatesh’s slow change over

Victory Venkatesh for long has entertained movie lovers with class and mass entertainers. Film makers always banked on him for family entertainers and he scored many sensational and romantic hits. Till recently he has been one of the four strong pillars of Tollywood but now it seems he is coming to terms with age that is fast catching him up. Over all these years Venky was seen in mostly single hero films but over the past few years he has changed his trend.
 
Currently he is starring in multi starrer films like ‘Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ and ‘Shadow’. In SVSC he is teaming up with Prince Mahesh Babu where both will be seen as brothers for the first time in their career. Though ‘Shadow’ says it is Venky’s starrer but even Srikanth is also featuring in the film. So both the films can be treated as multi starrers. To the top of it Venky is also playing a special role in Rana starrer Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum.

This shows that Venkatesh unlike Nagarjuna who is doing films with different storylines, is choosing multi starrers to prolong his career and at the same time entertain his fans. Venkatesh is eying a slow changeover so that the smooth sailing will not pinch or hurt his fans.
