Trivikram Eyeing Old Beauty Again!

RGV locks horns with Rajamouli

Ram Gopal Varma and Rajamouli will have a special place in Tollywood history. One will be remembered for changing the path of Telugu cinema and the later for drastically improving Telugu cinema trade. And now they are going to lock horns with each other.

RGV’s Bhoot Returns and Rajamouli’s Makkhi, the dubbed version of Super hit movie, Eega are going to clash at the Bollywood box office on 12th of this month. Makkhi had caught the attention of the entire nation and Bhoot Returns is making a silent entry to the box office with relatively less publicity than his other films.

RGV to make Bhoot 3

Even before the release of Bhoot Returns, Ram Gopal Varma had decided to make one more film in the series — Bhoot 3. And for the first time, he is going to organise a contest, to get the story for the third installment of the scary film.
The movie will have a new hero and Sunny Leone on board.
RGV  had recently shot a small video with the child artiste in Bhoot Returns, Alayana Sharma, asking for a story for the next film.

Padma award for Sri Devi!

Choreographer turned director Raghava Lawerence had earned the name of a minimum guarantee director who is capable of judging mass pulse. Bellamkonda Suresh had bagged the Telugu dubbing rights of Kanchana for 2 Crores and bagged as much as 10 Crore profit.

And now Bellamkonda is producing the next movie, Muni-3, the third in the series. The movie will have its formal muhurath on 24th of this month and the regular shooting will go on from then.

CMGR in DTS Mixing

The post production of Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu, the most awaited movie of the season had reached the crucial stage. The movie had completed the dubbing and rerecording works and is currently in DTS mixing.

The movie is all set to release worldwide on October 18th. Milky beauty Tamannah is playing the female lead in the movie. Pawan Kalyan is playing the role of a TV Reporter and Tamannah plays his assistant as Cameraman. Puri Jagannath is directing Pawan Kalyan after 10 years of their Badri. Mani Sharma is composing the music. DVV Danayya is producing the movie on his Universal media banner.

Secret behind KCR’s Delhi stay

General public and telangana people in particular are very much surprised at some of the actions of TRS chief KCR. KCR who used to be in the fore front of Telangana movement suddenly drifting away from the it. His actions during the past 4-6 months raise suspicions about him. Even recently when entire telangana people participated in telangana march, KCR did not care a hoot for the march. He did not utter a single word and stayed in Delhi, deciding to skip march. Everyone was surprised at his month long Delhi stay during which he did not even care to forget about attending but condole the death of tallest figure in telangana, Konda Lakshman Bapuji. It was pretty unlike him, when he wept on hearing Prof. Jayashankar’s demise.
 
But political analysts say that KCR and his family can not survive in political and personal arena, solely on telangana movement and spitting venom on Union Govt, Sonia Gandhi and others. It is a well known fact that he and his family has lot of businesses across the country including seemandhra. If he spits venom on Sonia and Union Govt, Sonia will unleash ED and CBI on his businesses which will sound deathknell to his family. So KCR was in Delhi to pacify the top bosses even if it means saying good bye to telangana movement.

High Command taming T-MPs with CM

Strange are the ways of Cong high command and its actions. What is visible may not be the thought process of Cong party or Sonia Gandhi. For the past few months telangana MPs and CM detractors including Dy CM Damodara Rajanarasimha were seen spreading rumors that CM Kiran will be shunted out and there is imminent change this time with telangana person all set to become CM. They started spitting venom on CM with T MPs going hammer and tongs. 
However CM Kiran did not sit back quietly but responded back strongly unlike his nature. Many feel he has complained against T MPs and his detractors to High Command reasoning out that they are behaving not as Cong party leaders but as TRS leaders. He cited how KCR was spitting venom on Sonia and how T MPs are enjoying his actions without criticizing him. He even mentioned Kodandaram’s comments against Minister Sridhar Babu warning if he don’t relinquish his post, he will meet the same end as his father.
 
Cong High Command which is vexed with T MPs behavior and other leaders who are not toeing the high command line gave CM full powers. This was the reason why CM supporters were seen lashing out at T MPs with even Renuka Chowdhary and Jaggareddy entering the fray. CM’s statement that telangana wont be formed to serve the political interests of few should be viewed in this context.

Can Makki overcome ‘Bhoot’ scare

Rajamouli’s Eega is all set to enter bollywood battle field but if one expects everything will be clear for its success march then tollywood movie lovers will  be mistaken. Makki will be surrounded by more than 6-10 high profile flicks releasing on the same day and in the midst of all this our own Ram Gopal Varma known for his maverick ways is trying to scare the small fly which is out to exact its revenge unleashing his scarry ‘Bhoot’ which is making a come back.
 
While one can understand Bollywood film makers releasing their films on the same day but our own Ram Gopal Varma releasing his Bhoot to take on Rajamouli will be pretty hard to digest for tollywood movie lovers. Some may be even cursing Ramu for being insensitive to the feelings and not ensuring the success of Makki which was a run away hit in telugu, tamil and Malayalam.
 
Already some film buffs are out to find out whether Ramu has any previous scores to settle with Rajamouli but they couldn’t find out anything. It has to be seen now with Makki supported by star couple Ajay Devgn and Kajol can overcome the Bhoot scare and fly its way past to success.

Ace Film maker Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Bhoot Returns’ and its dubbed Telugu version ‘Boochi’ is all set to scare viewers next week. The film is releasing on October 12th in 3D. Ram Gopal Varma is in Hyderabad to begin promotions for the movie.

A sequel to 2003 hit Bhoot, The film explores the dramatic and horrifying changes in the life of a family when they come to stay in a new house. Strange things happen and the little girl in the family feels the presence of someone  .J.D.Chakravarthy, Urmila and Madhu Shalini play key roles in this movie.

Isha Chawla back to business

After a few months of complete bed rest, Isha Chawla is finally back to work. She complained of some undisclosed illness and was absent from movie shootings. Due to this the planned Russia schedule of Sunil’s Mr.Pellikoduku had gone haywire and Sunil had to movie on to his next movie shooting. And now she had recovered fully and is back to work. The shooting of a song had began in a special set erected in Annapurna 7 acres studio. Remaining two songs will be shot in Russia very soon.

Devi Prasad of ‘Blade Babji’ fame is directing this film. The movie is going to be produced by RB Choudary, Paras Jain and NV Prasad under Mega Super Good movies banner.

Mallika Sherawat turns in to writer

She is also worried that there is too much spice in her life to lay it bare for everyone to read! But she insisted that if she decides to write it at all, it will an honest account of her life.

Mallika is currently not having any offers in Bollywood. She has recently shot with American pop star Bruno Mars for his parody video of Salt ‘N’ Pepa’s Whatta Man (featuring En Vogue) for a comedy website.

Lawerence all set to direct Ram Charan

Lawerence is preparing a story for Ram Charan. The director had recently met Charan and narrated a story line. The actor liked it and agreed in principle to do a movie with him. Lawerence is now busy developing the story line in to a full bound script. On the other side, the muhurath of his next directorial Muni-3 will go on to sets this month end.

Mumbai based model Kriti Sanon is all set to pair up with Mahesh Babu in his upcoming film to be directed by Sukumar. Earlier, Kajal Agarwal was the first choice for the role but after Kajal failing to allocate bulk dates, director Sukumar has finally decided to ahead with Kriti Sanon. Kriti Sanon, who is perusing Engineering, is a passionate dance and has learnt Kathak for 5 years besides shooting for a few commercials.

Anil Sunkara, Gopichand and Ram Achanta are producing the film under 14 Reels Entertainments banner. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. The next schedule of the untitled film will start in Goa from October 10.

Kavitha back on Tankbund track

KCR and his kith and kin disappeared from telangana scene for quite some time and when everyone started wondering what was happening, suddenly KCR appeared and started singing about signals from Cong Govt and Sonia. Stating this he flew to Delhi even though no one from Union Govt invited him for talks. However he cooled his heels in Delhi for more than a month and returned back to Hyderabad couple of days back. Till this time KCR’s sons and his darling daughter never came out of their house leave alone speaking to people and press. Even when Kodandaram and TJAC organized T-march they did not come out of their houses though the party’s cadre made their token presence.
 
Now however with the return of KCR, his darling daughter Kavitha, President of Telangana Jagruthi Samithi came out to Tankbund and sat on protest against the installation of statues of Andhra popular personalities that were damaged by miscreants during million march. Many wondering what she was doing till all these days and why she did not even come out of her house when T-march was on.
 
This shows the respect KCR’s kith and kin have on telangana and the sentiments of the people. Many say they are more interested in improving his personal assets rather than fight for the statehood for telangana.

Hard realities about Mythologies

Many think mythological films are very easy to make. But there are many hard realities that film makers and even movie lovers miss while making and watching them instead of enjoying them. One has to get to the terms that at present age mythological film making is quite difficult to make and even impress movie lovers. That was the reason why one can not compare Balakrishna, Nayanatara starrer ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ directed by Bapu with evergreen classics from the old. Everyone should understand that there wont be any copy or Xerox for Ramayana.
 
Yesteryear classics are reference books and should not be compared with current films. That was the reason why Balakrishna pleaded movie lovers not to compare his film with the older version of his father NTR, Anjali Devi starrer ‘Lava Kusa’. That film is an epic and even now people worship them as real gods. Even great directors like Bapu, Raghavendra Rao can not take Mayabazar, Lavakusa, Patala Bhairavi. No one can say for that matter that Krishna’s Devdas was bad but it cannot be compared with ANR starrer. Dasari made Devdas and mocked by insulting old classics.
 
Bapu made many classics but not every film of his will be passed as great. Similar about K.Vishwanath whose every film can not be Sankarabharanam. One wonder how could he make ‘Apatbandhavudu’. Many mythological films come and not all can be Lavakuysa. So Sri Rama Rajyam should be viewed as one and should not be compared with great classics.

Tollywood beats with comedians

Comedians and hilarious heroes are the integral part of the industry and one can not imagine a single flick without comedy or comedians or for that matter hilarious heroes. In a way telugu film industry is blessed to have so many comedians compared to other regional languages. One gets the feeling that tollywood can beat any industry with its set of gifted comedians.
 
Right from Sivarao, Jogarao, Chadalavada, Veerabhadrarao, Nalla Ramamurthy, Raja Babu, Balakrishna, Padmanabham, Mada, Nootan Prasad, Allu Ramalingayyah, Brahmanandam, Sutti Velu, Venu Madhav, Babu Mohan, Sudhakar, Rajendra Prasad, Allari Naresh, Krishna Bhagavan, Ali, AVS, MS.Narayana, Giri Babu, Chitti Babu, Sunil, Raghu Babu, Dharmavarau Subramaniam and many others. Actually film makers from other regions should learn from Tollywood and encourage comedians in their fields.
 
Tollywood should be proud of their comedians and film makers should make scripts that bring to their fore the talents of our great comedians. Everyone knows what wonders Brahmanandam can do and the same can be expected of MS.Narayana and others. Movie lovers remember how Sunil a small comedian stunned all becoming hero scoring hits after hits. Rajendra Prasad and Allari Naresh’s comedy is liked by all and it is imperative for film makers to make the best use of the available god given talent to the industry.

Song shoots ‘shoots up’ budget

One can not imagine any Indian film without songs , dances. Film makers are under the impression that unless until romantic songs in beautiful locations are pictured movie lovers will not come to see their films. Now they are having another impression that only if their film consists of item number then they can have some hopes on film doing well. No one is giving importance to story line. However many feel that song shoots are shooting up the budget of the film. But even when film nagar is buzzing with this news no one is taking steps to bring down the budget.
Infact film makers are spending lavishly on shooting, choreography, audio release but there is no need for such expenses. It is a known fact that any song would appeal to viewers if it comes according to situation. However the moment hero and heroine meets they will be flying in their dreams to some exotic foreign locations and as if that was not enough they will be joined by another 20 dancers and lavish settings and costumes. Film makers conveniently forget the fact that people in love long for loneliness.
Till now they can not get over from their age old impression that a film should have 6 songs. One doesn’t know who arrived at that conclusion but out of 6, 3 will be duets. An Introduction song on hero with fast mass beats is a must though it can not be understood by anyone. One gets a question if without songs will people don’t see films?

Sonia furious on Shankar Rao

In the momentous rage and anger she gave green signal for MLA Shankar Rao to file a petition in High Court against its own former Chief Minister YS.Raja Sekhar Reddy and YS.Jagan for alleged corruption and quid pro quo acts during his regime. When Shankar Rao came to her with his masterplan to reign in Jagan who was going great guns with his ‘Odarpu Yatra’, Sonia would have been mighty p;leased.
 
Now however with the turn of events and subsequent losses at YS.Jagan’s party in various bypolls and Mamatha deserting Congress, she is in desperate need to save its Govt and also bring back to power at Center in 2014 elections to make her son Rahul Gandhi the PM.For this she needs the support of Jagan and when she with her govt making all efforts to bring him out on bail, Supreme Court has taken serious view of Shankar Rao’s petition and even sent notices to 6 cabinet ministers in the state. Even when it sacrificed one of its minister, another minister is on verge of going to jail.So all her best laid plans are going avry and in the mean time SC rejected Jagan’s bail. Now Sonia is extremely furious on Shankar Rao for all this mess.
