Mohan Babu earned lot of name and fame in Tollywood and he is reputed as Collection King’ as his films used to shake box office during those days. He established many educational institutions through which he is serving the poor and down trodden and in the same way he even launched his own banner on which he made many superhit films.
However same cannot be said of his two sons Manchu Vishnu and Manchu Manoj who made their debut long time back but still looking to make a mark on Tollywood silver screen. Many feel that their sister Manchu Lakshmi is better than these two brothers. Manchu Lakshmi proved herself with her multi talent personality.Lakshmi became known through her role in the American television series Las Vegas, where she played the role of Sarasvati Kumar, the love interest of James Lesure. The show gave her the chance to work with many stars, such as James Caan, Sylvestor Stallone, just to name a few. She has appeared in national commercial campaigns for ARP, Chevrolet, and Toyota. In 2006, she acted, directed, and produced Perfect Lives, a short film that was accepted and screened at the Wilshire Fine Arts Theater as part of the La Femme Film Festival in Los Angeles.
Her performance in Ananganaga O Dheerudu caught the attention of all and even in Ukodatara Ulikipadatara she sizzled in a cameo. She is producing Gundello Godari at present. Manoj who debuted with Sri, featured in Prayanam and Vedam but later failed to make his mark while Vishnu except for Dhee looking for a hit. Hope these two brothers will prove others wrong.
