Okkadine Audio Release date

The budding hero with baritone voice Nara Rohith and the magnetic face beauty Nithya Menon are playing the lead pair in the upcoming romantic flick Okkadine. The movie shooting is now complete, and the makers are planning for a grand audio release on October 14th in Hyderabad. Post production activities are going on in full swing and Okkadine is set for a November first week release.

The movie is being directed by Srinivas Raga.Producer C.V. Reddy has reportedly mentioned that the movie is not only a youth entertainer but also meant for older audience too, reflecting Telugu traditions and culture in every take. The music composed by Karthik will be the highlight.

Iddarammayilatho Launch date

Our readers are aware that Puri Jagannath will be directing Allu Arjun in a new movie titled ‘Iddarammayilatho’. Puri had given the final narration of the script to Bunny on Sunday who liked it immensely. The film will be officially launched on October 17 in Hyderabad and the regular shooting will begin from October 25 onwards.. Most of the movie will be shot in foreign locales. Puri is currently busy wrapping up the post production activities of Pawan Kalyan’s Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu.

Bunny will be seen romancing with 2 beauties in the movie. Devi Sri Prasad who delivered many hits with Bunny will be scoring music for this movie. Ganesh Babu will be producing the movie under Parameswara Arts banner.

Athiloka Sundari Sridevi is all set to make her comeback to silver screen with “English Vinglish” and it’s not only her fans who are eagerly waiting for the movie, but also ace filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma.

“Can’t wait for Friday. For first time in 20 years, ever since I became a director, I am going to stand in a line and buy a ticket to see Sridevi,” the 50-year-old tweeted.

Sridevi bid adieu to Bollywood after marrying producer Boney Kapoor in 1996. Her last release was the 1997 hit family drama “Judaai”. English Vinglish is about a middle class housewife who enrols for an English speaking course in order to please her husband and family.

The actor said, “Look I can either get married or do Rajamouli’s film. I cannot do both at the same time. So, I had to choose between my wedding and the movie… And I picked the movie,” says the actor. Talk about commitment! Well his female fans wouldn’t be complaining for sure.

The actor has confessed that he is looking forward to start shooting for the untitled flick with Rajamouli. “We will start shooting from December. It is going to be a racy mass entertainer. It has everything from action, romance, and emotion. Most importantly, we have a great script. We will share more details soon. I’m really looking forward to working with Rajamouli again, after Chatrapathi,” .

Now a days film making involves lot of marketing techniques and right from the announcement of films the way film is promoted decides the fate of the film even before its release. In the film promos release of teasers,trailers, first look posters plays an important part. Many think that teasers and trailers are one and the same but there are very minute differences between the two. Trailer say the story of the film in a nut shell and is made by taking out interesting scenes, songs, clips etc. Making of trailer is bit easy because trailers are mostly released after audio release and during audio release by which time most of the film’s shooting is completed.
 
However teaser is not that. Most of the times teasers are released with in a day or two of the starting of  film’s regular shooting. During such time teasers should be cut to get the theme of the film with storyline. In the end if a punch dialogue is added fans will be going wild. If one happen to look at Badshah teaser it contains dialogue ‘Badshah decide aite war one side aipoddi’. However SVSC teaser is released with a song. Film makers created a trend by releasing film’s teaser in form of a song. The song became immensely popular and many of them are using them as ringtones or caller tones. Shadow film makers are getting ready to release its teaser. All this shows teasers, trailers and first look play an important role in the film’s success and it is not just routine cut and paste job.

Film makers and industry look for big festivals and happy occasions, holidays to release their films so that they can mint money with movie lovers ever happy to celebrate the occasion watching their favorite heroes films. There are many such festivals with film makers target and they include Dasara, Diwali, new year eve and Sankranthi. Already movie lovers are calculating which film will be releasing and which hero will be entertaining them next year sankranthi.
 
Movie lovers are expecting high profile films like Nayak, Badshah, Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Shadow, Vaaradhi etc. However now it seems most of these films are out of sankranthi race much to the disappointment of movie lovers and fans of those top stars. While Prince Mahesh Babu, Victory Venkatesh’s multi Starrer ‘SVSC’ was expected to give sankranthi treat, film makers advanced their release and now it will be releasing in the month of December itself. Young Tiger NTR’s Badshah seems to be following Prince Mahesh as he too decided to come early in December itself.
 
This left Mega Power Star Ram Charan Teja’s Nayak. However according to latest information even he is shying away from releasing his film on Sankranthi. Now fans are hoping atleast Victory Venkatesh will give treat coming as don as ‘Shadow’. Many expect even Rebel Prabhas to come with his new film tentatively titled ‘Vaaradhi’. It has to be seen which hero will entertain movie lovers on Sankranthi.

Young Rebel Star Prabhas who delivered consecutive hits coming as ‘Darling’ and ‘Mr.Perfect’ decided to turn ‘Rebel’ to give out and out mass treat to all his fans. The film directed by Raghava Lawrence is fully loaded with mass elements and milky white beauty Tamanna’s sensuous glamor treat being the highlight in the film. Though the film did not connect well with multiplex movie lovers, it received thunderous response from B and C class viewers. Prabhs’ stunning stunts and breathtaking action along with Tamanna turning red hot on silver screen made the day for the viewers. However Prabhas failed to score a hat trick as the film failed miserably at the overseas box office.
 
In the midst of all this another young and macho hero Rana is all set to test his luck this year on silver screen.Rana who after ‘Leader’ failed to impress movie lovers. Though he came with ‘Nenu Na Rakshasi’ movie lovers rejected him outright. In between he made his bollywood debut and then featured in RGV’s department. So his upcoming venture ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’ is make or break for him in tollywood. Creative director Krish is directing the film which features natural beauty Nayanatara. Film makers are taking all steps to make the film a grand success. They have roped in Victory Venkatesh and Sameera Reddy to do special number with Rana in the film. This will surely be a treat for Rana fans. It has to be seen whether Rana can deliver where Prabhas failed.

Vishnu settling old scores

Khairatabad MLA Vishnu Vardhan Reddy who used to be calm till recently suddenly turned aggressive during telangana march yesterday showing his true colors. Eveyone mostly educated people of Hyderabad was stunned when he gave a call asking telangana protesters to stall international summit on Biodiversity. This gets a feeling that he is trying to settle old scores with his rivals in the Cong party and even CM Kiran Kumar Reddy. One wonder if he want protestors to stall biodiversity summit then why should he participate in promotional ads asking people to support bidodiversity. This shows his double standards and to gain attention he is using his late fater P.Janardhan Reddy’s name saying he is just following the dream of his father.
 
But many feel he is trying to gain optimum political mileage on the whole telangana issue as his sister is gaining importance in the constituency after joining YSRCP. More recently his sister had darshan of Khairatabad Ganesh along with Vijayamma. Some others feel that he is just playing to the gallery just like other politicians who shout at the roof tops in front of public raising mob frenzy but conveniently forget the issue in couple of days.

Better CBN ask people to punish him

Chandra Babu Naidu couple of days back speaking about his 117 day long pada yatra ‘vastunna meekosam’ in the state said that he is coming to people moved by their condition due to increase in prices of essential commodities and doing away of various schemes by this Govt. He said he is coming to them to punish himself for his inability and helplessness to solve the woes of people. While his party claim that their leader is going on a tour to understand the situation and ground reality of peoples problems and have closer look at their living conditions.
 
However his rivals say that he is just following late YSR’s strategy of coming back to power by going on yatra and mingling with people. They even make fun of him that Chandra Babu shouldn’t punish himself but ask people to punish him for his mistakes and sins he committed during his rule. They say if Babu try to punish himself he wont be finding single mistake and will never punish himself. They even cite how he is going on claiming all successful Govt policies as his ideas generated from his brain or that of his son Lokesh. Wonder what Babu got to say about it.

Kodandaram fail to keep his promise

Prof Kodandaram who Govt for his proposed telananga march on Sep 30th couldn’t get the required permission. He emerged successful only after he used the influence of telangana ministers in CM Kiran Kumar Reddy’s cabinet and after he gave an undertaking to the govt that the protests would be peaceful and he will end the protests by evening 7PM.

However Kodandaram failed to keep his promise as even before the start of the so called peaceful march, his supporters torched newly constructed toll gate. Even on the day of protests yesterday his supporters went on rampage in and around necklace road and imax theater and looted, damaged and burnt furniture. To the top of it as if an achievement they broke the furniture and torched necklace road railway station. They even burnt media vehicles.
 

Kodandaram just ended the issue by tendering mere apology to media. If this is not enough he turned adamant when he should end the protests and instead said he won’t be leaving the place till central govt comes out with some announcement on Telangana by midnight. He enacted a huge drama increasing the tensions and just like a wily politician who derives his political mileage from the protests he called off his protest at midnight.
 
Kodandaram showed his true colors by prostrating in front of all and sundry for permission and then turn adamant by defying law. Losses incurred to public property should be recovered from Kodandaram and other organizers.

Telangana Ministers in trouble

Yesterday’s telangana protest march at Necklace road seems to have plunged telangana ministers in CM Kiran Kumar Reddy’s cabinet in deep trouble. When CM refused to give permission to the march citing security problems, all telangana ministers including Dy CM Damodara Rajanarasimha lashed out at CM for being anti telangana and insulting telangana sentiments. They branded him as telangana traitor. They after consultations with Prof Kodandaram and other T JAC members threatened CM Kiran to tender their resignations enmass if march is not allowed.
 
CM Kiran relented and now with the violence and aftermath incidents, telananga ministers are running to Delhi to give explanation to high command. Already seemandhra ministers are up in their arms for the violence in yesterday’s march and Kodandaram not adhering to the promises he made to Govt. Telangana ministers feel that their counter parts will show this violence at High Command and impress upon them that if telangana is given then things will take this turn.
 
Telangana ministers are furious that when they helped Kodandaram by getting permission, he inturn turned the protests into violent one and did not keep his promise. They now fear that Cong High Command will take them to task for misleading them with regards to the march. Ministers feel that when they helped protesters by getting permission, they are branding them as traitors while they even lost their reputation in front of their high command by siding with the protesters.

Nani’s Paisa Release date

Creative director Krishna Vamsi’s new film titled Paisa with young heartthrob Nani as the protagonist is carrying its shoot in and around Hyderabad. The movie shooting which began in April, is going on at brisk pace. The shoot is 70% complete so far. The makers are planning to release the movie on 5th of December. This is the first movie in the combination of Nani and Krishna Vamsi. The ace director is so determined to deliver a hit as he is reeling under the pressure of flops for quite some time now.

Nani is romancing a Keralite beauty Katherine Theresa, who is making her debuting in Tollywood with Paisa. Ramesh Puppala of Mirapakaya fame is producing the movie under Yellow Flow banner and Santosh Rai is handling the lens.

Orange as ‘Ram Charan’ in Tamil

The mentors of Ram Charan are making sure that the dubbing rights are sold to right persons and the movies get decent number of theaters for release.

Earlier, his Magadheera as Maaveeran, Chirutha as Siruthai Puli and Racha as Raghalai have done well in Tamil.

It is known that Hrithik Roshan is remaking the Hollywood film Knight And Day. The film, an official desi remake of the Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz starrer Knight And Day will be directed by Siddharth Anand. The movie script required its hero to have a lean and mean acrobatic image. And Hrithik will be the perfect fit.

On the other side, Katrina Kaif will be reprising the role of Cameron Diaz in the movie. The untitled film will go on floors early next year. It is produced by Fox Star India. It will be mostly shot in India, Middle East and other European countries.

She tried to make her come back several times but could not make it due to wrong selection of films. She is now all set to try her luck once again with Ram Gopal Varma’s ” Bhoot Returns” also features J.D. Chakravarthy, Madhu Shalini and Alayana Sharma.

“My interest was going away from my work, so I should not have done few films. Had I taken a break at that time, it would have worked for me. Later I took break, but it was much-needed,” she told.

Bhoot Returns is slated for October 12th Release.

Will small films see silver lining?

Movie lovers , film makers and industry give importance to films of top heroes and speak about the performance of the films, analyse how much collections and shares they grossed and the top directors and banners under which those films are made. However everyone is conveniently forgetting the fact that all the top directors, producers shot to fame only after doing small films under small banners before becoming  famed directors. No one become overnight stars and it is better industry remember that.

Teja shot to fame with a low budget film of Rs 50 lacs ‘Chitram’ which created a sensation collecting Rs 8 crs share. Even ‘Nuvve Kavali’ made by K.Vijay Bhaskar with a budget of Rs 1.8crs went on to collect Rs 20crs. This saw many low budget films like 6 Teens, Show, Aite, Anand, A film by Aravind doing well. Nuvve Kavali stunned all in 2007 while Happy Days created a record of sorts in 2008. However Happy Days cannot be treated as low budget film since its budget is Rs 2.75 crs.

This requires encouragement from top film makers and industry making theatres available for screening.

KCR skips T-March-turning telangana traitor?

T-March is witnessing a strange and surprise element. KCR chief architect for reviving Telangana moment and who used to be the forefront in all the protest marches and other events this time gave a miss to the all important telangana march which is going on at present in Hyderabad and which is getting entire world attention with International Biodiversity summit scheduled in the city tomorrow.

This came as a surprise and protagonists of Telangana are already branding KCR as telangana traitor for running away from all important T-march and cooling his heels in Delhi even when Cong deceived him by making him stay in Delhi for more than 25 days without delivering anything.

This leads to the suspicion that KCR is more interested in meeting his personal and vested interests rather than fight and achieve telangana. From the beginning his opponents slammed him for forcing byelections on people only to increase his numbers rather than fight for the state unitedly. KCR not saying a single word against Sonia Gandhi till now give weight to all these speculations. Now it has to be seen how KCR will come out unblemished with out being branded as Telangana Traitor.

T-March ignites fire in Cong

Issue of telangana divided parties vertically except for TRS since it is only formed with Telananga as its main agenda. All parties couldn’t take any decision on telangana without hurting the feelings of other region. Till now Cong has been taking refuge in the fact that other parties haven’t arrived at the decision. However with Chandra Babu Naidu sending letter demanding PM to convene all party meet on behalf of his party TDP, Cong is in dilemma as it took KCR for a ride for over a month making him stay put in Delhi sending him feelers that they would come up with some announcement on Telangana.
However at the last moment Minister Vayalar Ravi stunned all asking what is Telangana and where it is in media interactions. Though KCR did not utter a single word on the thing, Azad once again reiterated in Kashmir that there wont be any decision on telangana unless all parties agree on the formation of Telangana.

This made Cong representatives from the region especially its MPs with Ponnam Prabhakar firing on all cylinders on Azad. Even Dy Damodar Rajanarasimha complained on Vayalar Ravi.Damodar in front of CM Kiran vent his anger on how could he pretend as if he was unaware of Telangana. Meanwhile Ponnam Prabhakar vented his anger on Kiran saying he is not caring Telangana ministers. He went on to say CM Kiran is not fit to rule the state. Many feel Dy CM is using the opportunity to his advantage taking potshots at CM Kiran.
This made ministers from the same region Sridhar Babu, Sunitha Lakshmareddy, Sailajanath and Jaggareddy taking Ponnam to task that it was CM who solved 14F issue and other things and even got Pranahita-Chevalla project on fast track. They challenged Ponnam to undertake yatra for Telangana just like CM who is daring everyone with his Indiramma Bata.Many Cong representatives feel that if High Command goes on delaying its decision then divisions in Cong will do irreparable damage to the party.

Why golden year is remembered

Now a days leading regional dailies are carrying out features remembering golden hits when the film completed 30-50 or 50yrs. Many may wonder why they are carrying those articles but those who are wellversed with tollywood film industry feel that except for remembering those golden hits and savoring those beautiful story lines tollywood has nothing new to offer as present film makers are hell bent on bombarding silver screens with stale and monotonous mass entertainers.
 
So movie lovers who crave for variety films cannot but remember ANR’s ‘Meghasandesam’ turning superhit 30yrs and so on. During the same time NTR’s ‘Bobbili Puli’ roared to success and during that year when 90 films were released more than 25 films are still remembered. This means 25% of the films released 30yrs back in the year 1982 are superhits. Though not all turned out to be hit like ‘Meghasandesam’ or ‘Subhalekha’ many are remembered for their beautiful scripts.
 
Just before his political entry NTR’s Anuraga Devata and Naa Desam came in that year only. Similarly Megastar Chiranjeevi’s memorable hits Manchu Pallaki(Vamsi), Intlo Ramayya Veedhilo Krishnayya (Kodi Ramakrishna), Subhalekha (K.Viswanth) came in 82. Even Nutan Prasad created sensation with his dialogue ‘Desam Klishta Paristhitulalo Undi’ in the film ‘Patnam Vachina Pativratalu’ (Vijaya Bapineedu) released. Raghavendra Rao came with ‘Devata’, ‘Trisulam’,.’Justice Chowdhary’ and even revolutionary films like ‘Ee Charitra e Sirato’,’Maro Malupu(Mejolla Satyanarayana) struck note with movie lovers. Villain Mohan Babu turned hero with ‘Pratigna’, ‘Gruhapravesam’ and even Krishna’s high budget mythological film ‘Ekalavya’ by MS.Reddy and political entertainer ‘eenadu’ entertained people in 82. Similar is Jandhyala’s Nalugu Stambhalata.
 
Genex film makers slow poisoned movie lovers with mass films and now when films like Vedam’, “onamalu’ and ‘Naanna’ fail they blame them. It is for film makers to slowly change the taste of movie lovers by slowly changing their scripts including healthy comedy and making family entertainers oe else Tollywood will only be left with remembering golden hits.
