Rani Mukherjee serious on her second innings

0
Rani Mukherjee might have fewer offers as main lead heroine but that did not sublime her career. She is taking it more seriously now. After the raunchy dance number Dreamum Wakeupum and a lavani in the song Sava Dollar, Rani Mukerji has gone a step further in her upcoming film Aiyyaa. The actress has done some sensual belly dancing moves in the latest track, Aga Bai, in the film.Rani trained herself in belly dancing to lend authenticity to the number. 0

She said, “India is a culturally strong country and very traditional. Bollywood is now making its mark and people in Hollywood want to work with the Indian stars and in Bollywood too. I would love to work with Shah Rukh Khan.

Bollywood babes insecure of Ileana

0
Bollywood film industry somehow has some inferior impression of Southern film industry and their film personalities. Though on many occasions they were proven wrong and were amazed at the superlative skills of talented film makers and actors that impression is still there. Even when in present where most of their top heroes are scoring stunning success of the range of Rs 100crs grosser it is a pity that the industry nurtures that feeling though Big B Amitabh Bachchan on many occasions lavished praises on the talents of the south.

Recently gorgeous goan beauty Ileana D Cruz amazed all with her performance in ‘Barfi’ on debut. She sometimes even surpassed her experienced counterparts Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. No one from south in recent times created such an impact on film makers in Bollywood and now that the film is the representing India at Oscars, Ileana became an overnight star. Opportunities started pouring in on her lap and this is making Bollywood babes insecure about her.

Though she has long way to go to reach the stardom of Katrina or other stars or match the performances of Vidya Balan in Dirty Picture or Kahani or Kareena Kapoor in Heroine, Ileana has already sounded warning bells. Now Katrina and other heroines who are only sizzling in item numbers gaining immense popularity and attention may change track and look for more performance oriented films to clip Ileana’s wings.

Can ‘Cameraman Gangato Rambabu’ live to huge expectations?

0
Power Star Pawan Kalyan is coming as ‘Cameraman Gangato Rambabu’ aided with milky white beauty Tamanna. Puri Jagannath is directing the film and though film makers haven’t uttered a word about the film there were huge expectations amongst fans, film circles and movie lovers. Though this may come as surprise for the film makers it is nothing new as Power Star Pawan Kalyan is doing this film after the stunning success of ‘Gabbar Singh’ with which he rewrote many existing records in tollywood. True to his trade mark dialogue in the film that he will be setting a trend rather than following a trend, he set a new trend that too with a remake film.

Now he along with Puri Jagannath has enormous task of creating new trend by scoring back to back hits in Tollywood. Expectations on the film are never ceasing down even when Puri Jagannath’s ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’ failed to impress movie lovers at box office. Till now no hero had back to back sensational hits as one can notice from Ramcharan’s Magadheera followed with ‘Orange’ and even Prince Mahesh Babu after ‘Dookudu’ path breaker couldn’t come anywhere near it though he did not disappoint anyone with Business Man.

It has to be seen whether Cameraman live up to the huge expectations. Till now it is singing right tunes with the teasers released today and few weeks back catching the attention of all. While the first teaser Pawan kalyan and Tamanna’s duet song Nee nagumome extraordinary’ song, the teaser released today highlighted Pawan’s role as a media reporter. Pawan was seen reacting to media news and fighting for the justice for common man. Oct 18 will be the D day for Cameraman.

Secret behind heroines walking out

0
Now a days heroines walking out of projects are quite common in any film industry and there has been sudden spurt on these kind of incidents in Tollywood. When Shruti Hasan walked out of Young Tiger NTR’s prestigious venture ‘Dammu’ under Boyapati Srinu direction it created a sensation. Ironically Shruti even participated in a song shoot before taking such crucial decision. Later the film was completed with Trisha and Kartika as heroines.

Samantha who is the most sought after heroine walked out of renowned film maker Maniratnam’s Kadal and then later from Shankar’s project. This raised many eyebrows but all those heroines who are walking out of the projects complain of dates adjustments. Film makers of Prabha’s Rebel first planned to cast Anushka in the film but she walked off and the Tamanna entered into the project. This did not stop there with Ileana rebutting claims that she was starring in Power Star Pawan Kalyan-Srinu Vytla’s combo film and couple of days back Kajal walked out of Prince Mahesh Babu’s film. She walked out after shooting a song under Srinu Vytla direction.

Analysts feel that this is due to the fact film makers not giving due importance to heroines taking them for granted. They say trends have changed in film industry and heroines are not after one hero and can not give dates in bulk unlike in olden days. Now with many corporate signing them for endorsements giving bulk dates may result in loss of golden opportunities. It is for the film makers to take heroines in confidence and stop treating them as glamor dolls who act as mere puppets.

Silver screen battle of Tollywood Babus

0
Tollywood has been witness to many fascinating battles and this occasion is no different. Silver screen is soon going to witness battle of two tollywood babus. There are many babus in the industry but if you think any of those heroes with surnames of Babus will be engaged in this battle then you are mistaken. This is only between two heroes who are turning silver screen babus.

They are tollywood hot hunk Leader Rana and family hero Srikanth. Leader Rana is turning B.Tech Babu for his upcoming film ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’ under Krish direction. He even participated in a song having words  ‘Ranga Martanda B.Tech Babu..Rangulu Marche Bootaka Babu’.. Manisharma tuned music for this bilingual entertainer. While Rana is satisfied with only Nayan, family hero Srikanth who is turning Dora Babu in ‘Devaraya’ under Nani Krishna direction is romancing with hot babes Meenakshi Dixit and Veedisha. Chakri is the music director. Srikanth will be seen as Dora Babu and Sri Krishna Devaraya and it has to be seen which babu will win the silver screen battle.

Both the Babus are longing to hit success track and movie lovers feel if both of them score a decent hits it will be good for the industry.

Chandrababu taking people for a ride

0
Everyone knows that Chandrababu is politician to the core and will not leave any opportunity which will give him political mileage. He is going on his 117 day yatra hoping that people will recognize his sincerity during his regime and bring him back to power. But many feel that he is chameleon to the core who changes his colors according to the situation. Till recently when there were some signs that Cong would come up with some sort of announcement of telangana, he promised to write a letter on telangana pledging his support to the formation of state to Govt. however now noticing that there won’t be any such announcement he is conveniently skipping the issue.

This is one side of his face and on the other side he is famous for claiming any schemes which are beneficial to poor as his pet projects and fool people that they were introduced by him. Govts are using fees reimbursement schemes to rob people of money to serve the vested interests of Pvt colleges. However many benefited from the scheme but Babu who is claiming that it was his scheme, is renowned for making BC students pay full fees to the colleges. He is going on claiming Dwakra was introduced by him while the scheme was implemented across the country by the then PM in 1992. It is a shame that Babu is claiming credit for schemes which were not his schemes. Better CBN tell facts to people as they are no fools.

Will Cong fooling KCR work?

0
KCR who has been hoping hope against hope that Cong will buckle under the T-Pressure he created with the help of his colleagues Cong MPs from Telananga was once again taken for a ride for by Cong High Command and Sonia Gandhi who fooled him to the core by not coming with road map for the formation of separate state of Telangana.

It came as severe jolt for KCR who camped in Delhi for more than 20 days totally brining down his telangana temper and rethoric even when preparations are in full swing for the proposed telangana protest march on 30th. When KCR expected that after the CWC meet, Cong would come with some sort of announcement, Vayalar Ravi who came after the meet stunned all including KCR asking where is telangana and what it means? He said the core committee did not find time to discuss silly issue such as telangana thus dashing the hopes of KCR and his grand merger plans.

If Cong thinks that by engaging KCR in talks calling him down to Delhi so that cutting his contacts with Hyd T march then it succeeded in its mission to the full extent. But it has to be seen whether disengaging KCR from Kodandaram and his TJAC will yield the results and calm down tempers in the run up for the march. It is a known fact that had KCR been in Hyd during these days he would have heightened the tempers in the region which is not the case now.

It has to be how ever seen whether Cong fooling of KCR will work for the party in the longer run.

Union Govt becoming Telangana Traitor

0
Union Govt which has to take care of the aspirations of people of each and every part of the country is fast becoming the traitor of telangana. When everything was going smoothly, the then Union Home Minister  Chidambaram issued a statement on the formation of separate state of Telangana couple of years back at the mid night. What ever may be the consequences and reasons behind the statement the Govt can not go back on its own policy decision made in full public gaze.

When entire telangana region erupted with jubilation, in a week stime Chidambaram poured cold water on their dreams and aspirations by going back on previous decision. From then on telangana continued to boil with peace going to toss in entire state of AP. But center is not bothered about the damage its indecisiveness is causing on brand Hyderabad internationally and even now when international summit is on in four days time, the proposed protest march will definitely dent the image which will have severe impact on said future investments.

Union Govt by delaying its decision and taking people of telangana for a ride is fast becoming the Telangana Traitor in the eyes of the people which is not at all good for the country.

CBI’s double standards to the fore

0
CBI officials may say that they are working independently and don’t have any pressure from any of their higher authorities or their political bosses. However hard they may try to convince, people will not believe them because they have earned such notorious reputation it will be hard for them to come out of it so easily. This is proven time and again when they conveniently try to bail out tainted people without providing key and crucial information like in Quottrochi bail in bofors case or in disproportionate assets cases on Mayawathi, Mulayalam Singh and others.

Many feel the same is happening in Jagan’s case and the 26 GOs issued by the then YSR Govt. CBI sent Minister Mopidevi  Venkataramana packing to chanchalguda jail in 26 Gos case though he claimed innocence saying the decision is not in his individual capacity but entire cabinet is responsible. However yesterday CBI did not follow the same rule in case of Dharmana to whom it served notices regarding same Gos. Dharmana Prasada Rao argued in the same manner as that of Mopidevi but to everyone’s shock CBI court granted bail with in seconds and CBI lawyers did not even oppose it.

This made Mopidevi supporters furious and they allege discrimination as their leader hails from BC community. Wonder what CBI and Cong bosses got to say.

Once the teaser was released, it has gone viral all over the net. Here is our First Look Impression.

The new style of NTR and Thaman’s back ground music of the teaser has caught everyone’s attention. The dialogue style of NTR has altered a bit and there is a difference in tonal modulation as well. This has received a very positive response from fans. The high production values in the teaser had given Hollywood kind of movie look.

Siva Thandavam Release postponed

0
According to the rules of Telugu film chamber, dubbing movies are charged 30% tax. Hence it became a norm for producers cheating the chamber by declaring dubbing movies as bilinguals. C.Kalyan, the local producer of Vikram’s Shiva Thandavam has done the same. However, a couple of producers challenged the producer C Kalyan’s claim and the release will be postponed till the issue is cleared. So, it might take another week to release in Telugu. However, the Tamil version, Thandavam, is hitting the screens on September 28th.

Anushka is playing the female lead. Jagapathi Babu, Amy Jackson and Lakshmi Rai are playing pivotal roles in ‘Siva Thandavam’. Vikram is playing a secret agent who is blind guy and uses a technique called Echolocation to sense the objects. Audio of the Tamil version has been already released and gathered positive reviews. GV Prakash is the music director and AL Vijay is the director.

Cherry’s triple impact

0
Mega Power Star Ram Charan who came out of rotten ‘Orange’ and created ‘Racha’ this year after taking a break before getting his things right is preparing for a triple impact on silver screen. This time however he is planning to have two birds at one shot and is cushioning it with two wings.

Cherry is planning to blast bollywood with his terrific stunts and sensational dances to stun movie lovers leaving entire film industry in awe with his debut film ‘Zanzeer’ directed by Apurva Lakhia. Pretty beauty Priyanka Chopra his romancing him and also revealing a trick or two of bollywood trade. He even has Salman Khan at his side guiding him in his journey. The film will be a bilingual and film makers are already eying first day records.

In the midst of all this he is doing two high voltage mass entertainers in Tollywood under VV.Vinayak and Vamsi Pydipalli direction. While he is turning Naayak under VV.Vinayak film, he is starring in ‘Yevadu’ under Vamsi Pydipalli direction. Many wonder who will be casualties in Cherry’s powerful triple impact and already mega fans are busy with their own calculations so that they can take on anyone when it comes to the terms of business and collections of their heroes films.

Big B in tears after watching ‘English Vinglish’

0
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is making a cameo in Gauri Shinde’s debut directorial ” English Vinglish” which marks the comeback of screen diva Sridevi after a gap of fifteen years had recently watched a special screening of the movie and is reportedly in tears watching the movie

“A viewing of ‘English Vinglish’ directed by Gauri Shinde, wife of R Balki tonight, leaves me with collective lumps in the throat and a surge of flushed eyes near the tear ducts.

“And it is not all the emotion of a particular moment that puts one in such state. It is the uncontrollable effect of appreciation that prevents one from expressing any at all…,” Bachchan, 69, wrote on his blog.

The film is about a middle class housewife who enrols for an English speaking course in order to please her husband and family.

Why young and newcomers failing on silver screen?

0
Tollywood is witness to many young and talented new comers making their debut in many small budget films but most of them fail to impress movie lovers in totality. This is a fact not only with new comers who don’t have any film background but also with debutants who have sufficient support in the film industry. When Sekhar Kammula introduced many faces in his superhit ‘Happy Days’ except for Tamanna no one caught the imagination of others from their next films. Similar is the case of young heroes like Tarak, Nitin, Varun Sandesh, Nikhil and many more. Till recently Nitin created a record of sorts with a string of 13 flops and only ‘Ishq’ changed his fortunes a bit. MS.Raju’s son Sumanth Ashwin made his debut with ‘Tooneega Tooneega’ but failed to impress anyone.

Many are left to wonder what was wrong with these youngsters who come to films after undergoing intense training in film schools unlike in olden days. Film critics say that instead of following their own style of acting and performing accordingly, they try to follow their favorite heroes to create an impact on movie lovers forgetting the fact that if they want to watch their favorite heroes, movie lovers prefer to watch originals and not their carbon copies or clones.

They even highlight the point that though they have undertaken training in film schools they lack basic skills in voice modulation and dialogue delivery. Unless they improve upon these skills it would be difficult to shine in the industry making an impact.

RGV out to scare on silver screen

0
Director Ram Gopal Varma has innumerous fans just like his detractors. Whether one hates him or likes him he is a phenomenon who did wonders on Indian silver screen. But one look at the career graph many feel that he is out to scare people  who come to watch films on silver screen in theaters. Most of his films are either made on gansters and have gory elements with sound effects that send shivers down the spines.
Though he made some romantic entertainers in between like Govinda Govinda, Rangeela or films on corporate wars like Corporate, Company etc highlighting the nexus of mafia and underworld he stuck to his strength that is scaring movie lovers with horror and thriller flicks like Raat, Kaun, Jungle, Nishabd,Phoonk,Kaun, Madhyanam Hatya, Bhoot, Agyaat. Now he is all set to come with his upcoming entertainer ‘Bhoot Returns’.

He is even turning beautiful Manisha Koirala who mesmerized all in ‘Bombay’ as Saira Banu into Bhoot in ‘Bhoot Returns’. He is even passing comments that she is best suited for the role. This itself shows his passion for horror flicks. If given a chance one feel that he will change Atiloka Sundari Sridevi into a scarry ghost to scare people.
