Smile that irks Dharmana

Dharmana Prasada Rao who once was considered as CM candidate after YSR’s death is now in deep trouble over the GOs he passed in his capacity as minister during the regime of YSR. Dharmana is arguing CBIs contention that it was wrong on its part to hold him responsible for collective decisions of the Cabinet of CM, but many political observers feel that CBI court may soon send him packing to chanchalguda jail. It already sent notices and Dharmana appeared before CBI special court today. 
At the same time YSR CP President who is spending his time in jail also came for the hearing of his case along with others involved and greeted Dharmana sporting a mischievous smile that conveyed to Dharmana and many others who were behind all this tangle that found him in jail. Surely Jagan’s smile would have irked 
Dharmana as he is already tensed with his fate and political future handing in balance.
 
It has to be seen how Dharmana find himself out of the case as if he and Govt counters CBI argument saying there was no case in CBI stand then Jagan will be proven innocent and if not they will be sent to jail. In the meantime Jagan’s smile is sending welcome signals from Chanchalguda jail to ministers who all involved in 26 GOs

KCR scared of T March

Many are wondering what is KCR doing when people of telangana along with all NGOs and other parties are going ahead for its protest war seeking formation of Telangana on 30th of this month. While Prof Kodandaram is leading TJAC which is in the forefront mobilizing forces to show the strength of telangana people during the march, other organizations are doing their best to liven the spirits of the people.
 
Govt is at its wits end as to how to manage the situation as the march follows the day after Ganesh idol immersion which would continue till afternoon on the march day and the next day follows with international summit on Bio diversity. Anything untowards will bring down the image of brand Hyderabad and the whole state of Andhra Pradesh as a whole.
 
In the midst of all this many are left to look at KCR with suspicion as he is spending his time in Delhi, when the state is heated up with T protests. KCR despite of no positive signals from Cong High Command and Sonia Gandhi is still sitting in Delhi showing little concern over the all important march. Many feel that he is running scared of the march as Cong is impressing upon him to cool down the tempers and he is taking about his party’s merger plans as he is worried about the growing popularity of YSRCP in telangana.
 
KCR is expecting some kind of announcement for Telangana based on which he can merge his party in Cong. If in the current situation he is present in Hyd, then he would be forced to utter some vitriolic statements that damage the relationship between him and Sonia.

T-reps raise ‘Seemandhra Traitors’ bogey

Time for telangana march is ticking on and war of words are already in full swing. Whenever there is some agitation is on in telangana for the formation of separate state, representatives from the region cutting across party lines spit venom on ‘seemandhra people’ in their competition to score marks and credit in the hearts of people of telangana.
 
Already TRS MLAs and MPs are in full swing and Cong are joining them with Madhu Yashki raising the retheoric saying seemandhra people don’t have any right to stay in telangana region. Many once again get the feeling that telangana representatives by raising seemandhra traitors bogey are increasing passions in people and this may lead to large scale violence as witnessed earlier.
 
Million march on tankbund led to demolition of statues of great leaders and even in the lead up to the march there were demolitions of some more statues. The purpose of protesters on choosing tankbund as venue leads to suspicion that they are planning to create law and order problem and there may be another violence if police and law enforcing authorities are not taking them seriously.
 
Organisers may say they will carry out protests in peaceful manner but one can not go by their words all the time.

Bible Test for Jagan

Late CM YS.Rajasekhara Reddy’s son YS.Jagan became so strong with in no time that now all the political parties are trying to findout new methods and means by which he can be cut down to size. They are evolving strategies to bring him down but till now nothing worked in their favor. Cong High Command and the ruling govt in AP thought that people will loath him if his father YSR is defamed but it did not happen. It boomeranged on them as his popularity grew in leaps and bounds and when they thought that he could be cornered in Chanchalguda jail, turn of political events are making them prostrate before him.
 
Now TDP senior leaders Kottakota Dayakara Reddy and Varla Ramayya are coming up with new plans so that Jagan can be baffled. They feel that Jagan should be hit by sentiment and are asking Jagan to undergo bible test. They question what Jagan was doing in Delhi during 17th -19th of April and what secret pact Vijayamma arrived with PM and Sonia Gandhi during presidential elections. They say if in their heart of hearts Vijayamma and Jagan feel that they haven’t committed any crime and are honest why don’t they take oath and say the same on their holy scripture ‘BIBLE’. They are even asking what would Brother Anil would say on the whole episode.
 
It has to be seen what would be response of YSRCP and Vijayamma’s response to the challenge of TDP leaders and whether Vijayamma and Jagan will take Bible Test and pass with distinction.

Sridevi’s double standards

‘Atiloka Sundari’ of millions of telugu people Sridevi who became dream gal of Bollywood seems to be following double standards vis a vis her loving daughter Jahnavi. While she is making her comeback to tinsel town with ‘English Vinglish’ even at this age she is stalling the entry of her daughter Jahnavi into films. While some feel that she is doubly right in deciding her daughter’s career saying that she is too young for her age to decide many feel that she is practicing double standards.

It is a known fact that Sridevi started her career in film industry at the age of 4yrs as a child artist and by 13 or 14yrs she made her debut as heroine in Balachandar’s film ’Moondru Muduchu’. From then on there is no stopping Sri and she became the ‘Lady Superstar’ on Indian cinema. Now she is forgetting these facts and imposing herself on her daughter.

Jahnavi was supposed to act in the remake of Chiranjeevi, Sridevi’s superhit film ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari’ which even released in hindi as ‘Admi aur Apsara’. However she put her foot down when film makers planned to cast her opposite Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja.

Sri says “It is too early for her to come in films. At various events she comes with me as a daughter, as a friend, as I like to take her along. It does not mean all this (movie debut).”. She goes on to add “She (Jhanvi) is studying right now, she is doing well. I don’t want to distract her. I would be definitely the last person to want her to get in the industry at this age.”. Let us see what Sridevi got to say about her double standards.

Director Sreenu Vaitla who delivered a block buster Dookudu last year is celebrating his 40th birthday today.He is currently busy working on his stylish action-entertainer, Baadshah, starring Jr NTR and Kajal Aggarwal. The movie is currently being shot in Hyderabad. The teaser of the movie will be released today to coincide with the director’s birthday.

On Sunday, a get together of Dookudu unit and  distributors was held in Hyderabad and distributed shields to the Dookudu unit to celebrate one year of the movie’s release.Vaitla made his debut with Nee Kosam in 1999 and shot to fame with his second film Anandam. Since then there is no looking back with super hits like Venky, Dhee, Dubai Seenu and Ready. The director went on to win the Best Director Filmfare Award for Dookudu.

Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu shooting wrapped up

Pawan Kalyan fans are nearing to celebrate the most awaited movie of the year, Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu. The shooting of the last song of the movie was completed yesterday in Annapurna 7 acres studio. The song was shot on Pawan  Kalyan and Gariela Bertante. And with this the movie shooting is complete. The Post production of the movie had already began and is now going on at brisk pace.

The audio of the movie will release directly in to the market on 26th of this month while the movie will hit the screens on October 18th.Tamannah is playing the female lead. Puri Jagannath is directing Pawan Kalyan after 10 years of their Badri. Mani Sharma is composing the music. DVV Danayya is producing the movie on his Universal media banner.

Tamannaah in Tagore remake?

Tamil director Jayam Raja is all set to make his directorial debut in Bollywood with the remake of Chiranjeevi’s Tagore. The movie will have Akshay Kumar in the lead. And the this film, which will be produced by ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is likely to star Tamannaah opposite Akki.

When contacted, Tamannaah’s dad said, “Yes, we are in talks for the Akshay Kumar film to be directed by Jayam Raja.” Tagore was directed by VV Vinayak and has Chiranjeevi and Shriya Saran playing the lead roles. Tagore itself is the remake of a Tamil movie, Ramana directed by AR Murugudoss.

NTR’s guest appearance in Denikaina Ready

If the latest rumours in Filmnagar are to be believed, Young Tiger NTR is going to give a short appearance in Manchu Vishnu’s Denikaina Ready. Sources tells us that this shooting took place in Bangkok last month when both Baadshah and Denikaina Ready were shot at the same time. Denikaina Ready movie unit had neither confirmed nor declined this news.

Hansika Motwani is playing Vishnu’s love interest. Director G Nageshwar Reddy shot this laugh riot in the exotic locales of Malaysia, Bangkok, AP, etc. The movie’s story is by BVS Ravi; Screenplay by Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan and Siddharth cranks the camera and Editing by M. R. Varma.The audio release of the movie will take place on 28th of this month and the movie will hit the screens towards the end of October.

YSRCP’s public apology

Parties find new ways to gain media attention and in the present list of political parties, YSRCP is known for its creative and innovative approach in various protests taking up public issues and cornering the ruling Cong Govt. Wonder who is behind their innovative protests but they are getting immense media attention in the process. Many say it is Jagan who is coming out with all these master strategies and guiding his party leaders and his mother Vijayamma.
 
Recently all the leaders of YSRCP in front of the assembly held a press conference and tendered public apology for not able to raise issues of public importance due to non functioning of assembly session. They held their rivals mainly ruling Congress and opposition TDP for not allowing assembly to function properly. Most of the assembly session was washed out due to TRS demanding passing of resolution in favor of Telangana.
 
YSRCP leaders read out statistics on how each and every party raised public problems and how its rivals took assembly and public for a ride wasting precious assembly session. Their form of protests has all the trade mark of Jagan and he is the one who started ‘Odarpu Yatra’ which is now followed by Chandra Babu with ‘Meekosam Vastunna’. Whenever Jagan used to announce some kind of protest, Chandra Babu used to do protest on the same issue a day prior to Jagan’s protest. This shows that YSRP is becoming trendsetter in public protests.

Fight for T-Cup

People of Telangana’s burning desire for a separate state is forcing all political parties sing in support of their aspirations. There are many reasons for the dreams and desires of the people of telangana. Now the region of telangana has many players fighting for their share of T in T-cup. Now an interesting question arises as to which party people of telangana serves their ‘T’.
Till recently TRS leader KCR has been hailed as the emperor of telangana and many people including political analysts felt that no one can defeat and he is near invincible. However recent elections in Parakal and Mahabubnagar showed that his power is waning down with him forcing byelections again and again only to improve his parties numbers.
Next comes BJP which is the only national party which made its stand clear on telangana in unequivocal terms. Cong on the other hand is dilly dallying its decision making its T representatives go hammer and tongs at high command, according to the script and screenplay. CPI and other smaller parties and various parties are also there in fray and even TDP is unable to arrive at a firm decision on telangana. YSRCP is also in the similar situation and with Jagan in Jail it couldn’t arrive at any decision. However Vijayamma’s deeksha got immense response in telangana. All parties are waiting for other to press the T button before divulging their stand.
It has to be seen which party will win the love of Telangana people in the coming elections.

TDP’s two yatras on same day

TDP seems to be in peculiar dilemma as to who to follow whom. Its party leaders and cadre seems to be losing faith in their leader Chandra Babu Naidu and are following their own methods for their survival. While TDP chief Naidu is going ahead with his proposed state wide padayatra starting from Hindupur, Anantapur dist Oct 2nd, its leader Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy is starting his yatra demanding separate state for Rayalaseema .

Byreddy is demanding that the state should remain united or else in case of telangana formation, state of Rayalaseema should be formed. However many wonder when Chandra Babu Naidu is making one final assault on all opposition rival parties and on ruling Congress in the runup for 2014 elections, without pledging their full support how come Byreddy and for that matter any other leader can take a stand in divergence with the party stand. They are questioning does it not come under defiance of Party policy.
 

However many are of the opinion that Chandra Babu Naidu is unable to take any strong decision as anything will have grave impact on the poll prospects of the party. Many feel that CBN is losing his command over the party and all the leaders are going one way or the other according to their wish.

Mega Star meets CM for Power!

Mega Star Chiranjeevi is slowly losing his patience as he is not receiving any signals from Cong leaders either from Delhi or in State regarding some post of prominence to him. Ever since he merged his party, there were speculations that he would be given due importance with a cabinet birth either in Union Govt or State Govt. But nothing happened and it was reported that  Chiru is interested only in CM post and he wont be settling for anything less.
More recently there were speculations that he would be made TTD chief but it ended only in disappointment to Chiru. Now that Mamata and TMC walked out of Govt at Center again he is nurturing hopes of getting a present from Sonia Gandhi. In the mean time Chiru met CM to get nominated posts for his party leaders. Buzz is he demanded nominated posts for his party leaders before he gets cabinet minister post at Center. In the end it was reported that he demanded funds for the development of his constituency Tirupathi which he represented till recently before he vacated and which his party person lost to YSR CP leader.

It has to be seen whether Mega Star gets the power he is dreaming of. It is surprising that he did not discuss with CM about increased power charges!
