Gabbar Singh postponed to late Summer !

Here is a bad news for all Power Star fans. Pawan Kalyan’s Dabangg remake will not be releasing on May 9th as publicized earlier. Instead the movie might hit the screens late May. This may also force Rajamouli’s Eega to release in early June after one or two weeks of Gabbar Singh release. This postponement is a boon for NTR’s Dhammu which will have atleast 4 weeks of free run with out any competition.

This also led to preponement of Ram’s Endhukante Premanta from May 31st to May 11th. Lets see who will make more of this postponements!

Endhukante Premanta Release Preponed!

Ram and Tamannah starer Endhukante Premanta which was earlier slated for May 31st release is now preponed to May 11th. While the reasons for preponement is not known, the logo of the movie will be unveiled on April 8th and the trailer will be released on April 11th. The makers are also planning to hold a huge audio release event for the movie on April 21st.

Karunkaran who earlier directed movies like Tholi Prema, Darling, etc have directed the movie. Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is producing the movie on Sravanthi banner. GV Prakash who composed music for Darling will render music for the movie.

Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh is all set to release on May 9 as per the producer’s statement. Right now there is no change in this date. When Gabbar Singh is getting ready to hit the screens on 9th, Ram’s Endukante Premanta release has been advanced by twenty days. That means it will release on May 11th as per latest development.
Endukante Premanta was supposed to release on May 31st, but suddenly it came forward to have a direct clash with Gabbar Singh. Ram is known as Junior Power star among film buffs as he imitates Pawan Kalyan unconditionally. What is he going to prove by pitting his film against the big man?
Ram says that Endukante Premanta will not be clashing with any other films. He added that it has been advanced only to avoid clashes with other releases during May. In that case, Pawan Kalyan fans are in for disappointment. Why because Gabbar Singh’s release might be pushed to last week of May and hence Ram’s movie chose a safer zone for release!

Ram Charan has impressed one and all with his down to earth nature and non-egoistic behavior. He attended NTR’s Baadshah launch and invited NTR for tea. Few days later he admitted that his costar Tamanna is good looking than him. Recently he showered rich praises on Eega trailer and appreciated Rajamouli’s work on a public forum.
Although Ram Charan is being very humble and honest in each and every instance, there are few people who are still trying to spread nonsense. They say that Charan is not as transparent as he appears. If he is that transparent, why didn’t he make any comments on NTR’s Dammu trailer, which has been getting terrific response, Is what they are pointing out.
Ram Charan took time to watch Eega trailer and also posted good words about it. That doesn’t mean he should be watching each and every movie trailers and promotional stuff, isn’t it? Also Eega is directed by Rajamouli, the man who gave Charan the biggest hit in his career till date. Charan missed to attend the audio launch of Eega despite Rajamouli’s invitation as he was out of city on that day. After all Charan is not a regular tweeter. He doesn’t speak much about his films too let alone NTR’s!

Mega Powerstar Ram Charan showered praises on ace filmmaker Rajamouli, who is the genius behind the experimental flick ‘Eega’, for repeating his magic again. “Just saw Eega movie trailer. Its superb!!! Hats off to Rajamouli and his team. I guess its time now to be nice to the Eegas around us. If not…,” tweeted Charan.
Though Ram Charan was invited Rajamouli as one of the guests for Eega’s audio launch, he couldn’t make it to the event because of his busy shooting schedule. On that day, Charan was shooting ‘Cherry Cherry …’ song in Pollachi.
The promos of the film has garnered nationwide attention. Even Bollywood renowned film critic Taran Adarsh was spellbound by Jakkanna’s work after watching Eega promo. “Watched the promo of Telugu film #Eega. Brilliant concept. Beats all promos. @ssrajamouli – kudos and respect!!,” tweeted Taran

Legendary actor Kamal Hassan is a proud father now, after watching her daughter Shruti Hassan’s performance in the much awaited film of the year, ‘3’. The film’s hero Dhanush arranged a special screening of ‘3’ for Kamal in Chennai. Kamal, Shruti and Dhanush were the only 3 people present at the screening.
“For the first time in her career, I hugged my daughter after watching her performance. Besides her performance what really thrilled me to bits is that Shruti looks like me in the film. So far everyone thinks she only looks like her mother (actress Sarika),” said Kamal.
“I’ve never been a demonstrative father. But when I saw my daughter’s performance in 3, I knew my little girl had finally come into her own as an actress,” he added.
Since her debut, the Critics has written Shruti Hassan off and doubted her acting abilities. But with ‘3’, the Critics have finally given a thumbs-up to Shruti’s acting skills, especially they say she cried really well in the film. Kamal, who is critics favourite, is on cloud nine with the accolades his daughter has been getting for her work! The big moment for any parents is when their kids succeed, and it seems like Kamal is enjoying the most of this phase!

Salman Khan gives green signal to Zanjeer remake

Although his father Salim Khan has got a few objections, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is in favour of the remake of 1973 superhit ‘Zanjeer’, the film which established Amitabh Bachchan as the ‘angry young man’ of the Hindi cinema.
“I feel 100 percent – a remake of Zanjeer should be made. It was a super hit film,” said Salman, while speaking to the mediapersons. Salman’s father was the scriptwriter of Amitabh starrer Zanjeer. Salim Khan strongly feels that the cult status and the storyline of the original should be retained.
When asked about the reservations his father has got over the proposed remake Zanjeer, Salman replied,”Even ‘Don’ (Salim Khan was also the scriptwriter of Amitabh starrer Don) was remade (Shahrukh’s Don) and a sequel (Shahrukh’s Don 2) had also come out. My father has never objected. Don has been made twice.”

Disco To Beat Summers’ Big Movies?

With ‘Racha’ already hitting theatres by that time and ‘Adhinayakudu’ ready with ‘Dammu’ in pipeline, surely this is a suicide say trade circuits. But Nikhil and his director are fully confident that they can beat all odds in summer. Wait and see.

Despite lacking star value on screen, Eega has a very big star in Rajamouli behind the screen. Moreover Eega is a different genre film, which has the technical finesse and visual splendor that has to be watched on big screen.
If Eega boasts of enough thrills and lives up to the expectations, it has all the chances to have upper hand over other movies, which are mostly routine mass masala fare and romantic tales. Arudhati and Magadheera proved that Telugu audience are looking for something beyond the routine entertainment and Eega should be the one to fulfill their need.

Venkatesh’s Shadow in Paris

Victory Venkatesh’s latest movie ‘Shadow’ team will very soon fly to Paris. The movie is set mostly in abroad and is expected to have more than 40 days of shoot there. The movie shoot had began few weeks ago in Hyderabad and shot few important scenes here. Victory Venkatesh is donning an action role after long long time and will be seen in several getups in the movie.

Taapsee plays Venkatesh’s love interest. The movie was censored yesterday and received U/A certificate. The makers are planning to release the movie on 5th of this month i.e., two days from now. Sadly, there are no Wall posters in many important towns in the state even today. Only few hoardings are erected in Hyderabad city here and there. This might seriously hamper the chances of the movie.

Interestingly, Racha is going to have the advantage of a 4-day Holiday weekend with Mahavir Jayanthi, Good Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So, the collections in the first weekend will be very crucial for the movie.

He is pairing up with the saucy seductress Kajal Agarwal in the lead.
This is slated to be a family drama and it also has Brahmanandam doing a very important role. Music is by Thaman and the doe eyed beauty Amala Paul would be seen as the second female lead. Let us wish this film works and brings Vinayak the much needed hit for his career.

Ram Charan targets to beat Mahesh First Week Record

A star’s stamina is estimated by the first week collections of his film. Why because any film has to run on its merits from the second week. Currently Mahesh Babu holds the first week record. His Businessman movie surpassed Dookudu and turned out to be the biggest opener of Tollywood. Prior to these movies, Charan’s Magadheera was at number one spot in first week collections.
Although Magadheera still holds the all time top grosser record, Mahesh Babu has beaten its first week collections twice in the span of four months. So, Ram Charan is trying to create new record for opening week. Racha is releasing in more than 1500 theaters in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, which is much higher than Businessman’s final tally.
Racha is making enough buzz to take a stunning opening, but it lacks a bankable director to have that extra pull. Will Ram Charan himself manage to do what Mahesh-Vaitla and Mahesh-Puri have jointly done? Even Charan was supported by Rajamouli when he set the first week record with Magadheera. But this time, he will have to do it all by himself.

Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan comes together

Mega fans have been eagerly waiting to see Megastar and Power star on one stage. Chiru and Pawan didn’t share a public dais after elections.
