It is mind-blowing the amount of cash that is flowing in to Telugu cinema business through Dil Raju. He bought the Nizam rights for NTR’s Dhammu, Ravi Teja’s Dharuvu, and Ram Charan’s Racha. And now reports emerging out of industry that he is interested in buying the Nizam rights of Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh and Prabhas’ Rebel. .

In addition to this, he is producing Seethamma Vaakita Sirimalle Chettu, the first multistarer of Telugu cinema after several years. So, it is almost 120 Crores of amount invested by Dil Raju in Tollywood and we would have to see how much money he would make out of these investments!

The combination of Sensational director Shankar and Chiyaan Vikram is all set to repeat once again after their super hit movie ‘Aparachithudu’. Post the failure of Snehithudu, Shankar had regretted making a remake and vouched to never do a remake once again. He is seriously penning a script and is yet to announce the main lead of it. There were earlier news that the movie is ‘Bharateeyudu-2’ and Kamal Hassan will be acting in it but Shankar had refused to comment on it.

Whatever the combination, Shankar will surely bounce back like injured tiger. And if he manages to get one more Bharateeyudu or Aparachithudu, the movie will be a celluloid sensation for sure.

Gone are the days, when actors like NTR, ANR and Krishna used to work 2-3 shifts a day and release a minimum of six movies an year. Days have change considerable we are currently in days where actors take 1 movie an year and release 3 movies in 2years. Ram Charan is no different, he took more than year for Orange and about an year for his Racha.

However, he seem to have changed a bit. Currently, two of his movies, Vinayak movie and Yevadu are on sets. Interestingly, a day after the last day shoot of Racha, Charan had moved on to a fresh schedule of Vinayak movie. If Charan maintains this pace, we can expect 4 movies from Charan in the next one year which is great for both fans and thousands of people who make a living out of cinema.

This is about good old friends of Telugu cinema, who are tangled with the tag of enmity from some time. One is a versatile actor and other one is mega producer.

Good old friends Prakash Raju and Dil Raju once again proved that everything that is gossiped about them is false. The friends bonded close to each other at a recent felicitation program of Prakash Raj. Indeed this explains the fact that Prakash hasn’t walked out of Dil Raju’s latest movie.

A strong grapevine in the industry is that Prakash walked out of this project citing differences with Dil Raju. Insiders revealed that Prakash is totally inside the project and his part of shoot will begin very soon. Let us hope their ‘Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ will do magic at Box Office.

Movies should be released in theatres when the craze is on. Any change in the release date for a couple of times is okay but months of delay will take its toll.

Finally, countdown has started for Balakrishna’s much delayed flick ‘Adhinayakudu’. Production giant RR Makers has stepped in to rescue this movie as theirs is next with this hero. Balayya has recently finished dubbing for the movie, which is going to hit screens in a couple of weeks. But, what is bothering the producers and distributors are the opening collections.

With no proper publicity and negative talk, the makers are worried about investment recovery, which is generally high in first couple of weeks of release. Trailers and audio haven’t created much needed hype for ‘Adhinayakudu’ pushing producers into more dilemma. Watch this space for interesting updates.

It seems Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu also has turned into a psycho-analyst after going through the article written by his follower and “psycho analyst” C Narasimha Rao in Andhra Jyothy daily a few days ago on the psychological status of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.Agreeing with the contents of the article, Naidu has said Jagan has a strange psychological behaviour.

In an interview with a television channel, he said Jagan imagined himself in a larger than life size image and did not believe in anybody except himself.“At least, his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy used to have some fear for people while taking decisions. But Jagan does not care anybody and goes ahead with whatever comes to his mind. He did not hesitate to project ordinary deaths as suicides for his father, without caring for what the people think about him,” he said.

The TDP went further in describing Jagan as an aggressive blackmailer. “He has not left even the judiciary and attributed motives to the judges. This attitude has come to him only because of money and power of his father,” he said.

Most of the senior producers feel very sad about the state of producers of this generation. There were days when the producer is treated like a king in the film industry. But producers have lost value in this hero-ruled industry years ago and they are reduced to money spending machines. Gone are the days where producers walked with their heads high in pride.

Now they have been carrying bags and turning into loyal ‘servants’ of heroes. Whoever stays loyal to a star hero is likely to be rewarded with dates to make a movie with that particular star. Producer Ganesh Babu, who is producing his second film with Pawan Kalyan, is seen carrying the star’s bag at the airport. A driver or other assistant could do that for the hero. But the producer here wants to prove his loyalty with every chance he has.

Pawan Kalyan may not be noticing the damage it does to his personal image. But in this era where everything is seen through the eyes of media cameras, heroes should at least advice their ‘pet producers’ to act dignified in public.

Samantha who played a cameo in Gautham Menon’s Ekk Deewana Tha, will be seen in a full length role the Hindi version of Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu. The Movie is titled as Assi Nabbey Poore Sau and it has Aditya Roy Kapoor and Samantha in lead roles.

Several heroines had tried their luck in Hindi land in recent times but failed to make a mark on the audience there. Lets see if Samantha can make it big there!
