Synopsis:
Vishnu Murthy (Brahmanandham) tells a love story of two orphans to Lakshmi Devi on Akshaya Thruthiya day. Ravi Teja (Ravi Teja) is a settlement broker in Hyderabad while Ileana (Ileana) is a taxi driver in Bangkok. Both of them are orphans and they share common likes. Because of an arati thokka (Banana peel) thrown by Papayya (M.S.Narayana) on the road, the story takes a certain direction and Ravi Teja heads to Bangkok to negotiate a settlement between Circle Inspector Subba Raju (Subba Raju) and Bangkok Don Prakash Raj (Prakash Raj). He meets with Ileana in this process and falls in love with her. Rest of the story is about the game Vishnu and Lakshmi plays with Ravi Teja, Ileana and Prakash Raj.
Performances:
Ravi Teja is at his usual energetic self. He brings fabulous energy and entertainment with his interpretation of character. And we never get tired of his kind of comedy.
Ileana has lost herself in recent times. Somehow, the charm and beauty on her face is lost and her body looks too pale on the screen. The romantic track between Ravi Teja and Ileana never really takes off and the viewers will find it hard to connect with their feelings.
Though Prakash Raj was the main villain of the film, Puri uses him for comedy purposes in the role of a mafia don who forgets every thing in regular intervals. Jyothi Rana looks sufficiently vampish. Ali brings a few laughs as Bangkok taxi driver Goli. Brahmanandham and Kovai Sarla are good in their roles. Subba Raju did well in the little role he is offered. M.S.Narayana is seen in a very brief cameo. Fish Venkat is routine.
Technical Performances:
Puri Jagan said something interesting in the audio function of the film. “I made the film without a story”. He was telling the truth. This movie does not have a story but he entertained the audience through out the run time of the movie. The songs tend to come in at abrupt intervals and spoil whatever flow is there in the narrative. This is especially more evident in the second half, where screenplay is quite bad. He made good decision in restricting the run time of the movie to 2 hours otherwise it would have become difficult to entertain audience. Dialogues written by Puri are awesome as ever. Characterizations and Certain dialogues were too good. There were certain moments in the second half like the Anna Chellemma track between Prakash Raj and Ileana bored a bit but is manageable.
Raghu Kunche’s music is average and picturisation of songs is okay. Cinematography and Editing is good.

Final Say:
Devudu Chesina Manushulu might be the only movie in recent times which released with such low expectations in recent times. Expectations are almost zeroed due to several postponements. This might help the movie at box office. Watch it if you have nothing to do!

Chandrababu’s chameleon eyes

Eyes are essential for any human being. One should take extreme care in protecting them but it seems TDP chief Chandra Babu seems to have forgotten the fundamentals. He did not notice that his eyes were having problem and had some infection till the eruption of Telangana moment.When the symptoms were first noticed, instead of diagonising them and getting treatment, he tried to take comfort saying that Telangana and Seemandhra are his two eyes. However little did he realise that his disease will increase till he gets totally blind.
Had Babu analysed himself even at stage things would have been different. However he continued to be adamant and now recently he came with a statement that Hindus and Muslims are his two eyes and due to this he is not aligning with BJP. Now one wonder how come his two eyes which were earlier Telangana and Seemandhra become Hindus and Muslims. If so how to equate them. Muslims with telangana or seemandhra and vice versa.
His political opponents and political analysers feel Babu has gone mad with his myopic eyes and losing foresight. They feel that he is in the process of losing sight completely as his eyes are on verge of turning blind. Hope Naidu take some preventive course of action before it becomes too late.

Who says CBI is Congress Bureau of Investigation? Till now YSRCP and sometimes TDP accused CBI of being a puppet at the hands of ruling parties and currently that of UPA led by Congress. The fact was proven many times in case of Laloo, Maya, Mulayalam. Whenever Congress needed their support, cases against them would go slow and the moment they turn enemies CBI gets a wake up call. However just like every rule has an exception, it seems CBI is also having an exception and this time it is the state of Andhra Pradesh it is showing its power.
Much to the surprise and disbelief of general public and citizens across India the agency stated including the names of ministers and even arresting them shifting them to central jail. Already Mopidevi Venkataramana is passing his time in jail and Dharmana Prasada Rao is next in queue in Jagan’s disproportionate assets case. CBI is now gunning for other ministers J Geeta Reddy, Sabita Reddy, Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Kanna Lakshminarayana who received notices from Supreme Court.
Now the question that is in the minds of general public is can CBI score a sixer and send CM Kiran who used to captain AP Ranji team and currently captaining AP Congress team packing?.If and when it happens it will be a record in the entire history of CBI since its inception after India’s independence.

Botsa Satyanarayana seems to be having immense political clout. As such his family is full of MLAs and MLCs and no wonder that he enjoys such clout. But before that it was found that he owns liquor shops and manages the syndicate using benami names. But none in the govt officials and law authorities could act against him, as some hidden hand is saving him from taking any action against him.WIth Botsa revealing his political ambitions to become CM post, action against him would be extremely difficult.
Many wonder who is the hidden hand with immense power that is saving Botsa. Many feel that someone more powerful in Congress High Command at Centre is saving him as he has some business and political and business dealings with him. Many feel unless until Botsa’s secrets are busted out none can believe Congress claim of cleaning corruption.

Akkineni Nagarjuna is always viewed as Yuva Samrat, romantic hero, King and all in all charming Manmadhudu of tollywood. He starred in many love stories, romanced hot beauties and in some got himself sandwiched between two or more stunning babes. Even now many new comers desire to romance and seduce King of romantic hearts Nagarjuna.
However he sometimes experimented and emerged victorious unlike many other top heroes. His devotional flicks Annamayya, Sriramadasu proves that point and now he is turning as ‘Shirdi Sai’. Shooting is completed and is set for grand release in september. In the mean time he is busy with his romantic ‘Love Story’ with Nayanatara.
However to the surprise of many he is unveling his spiritual side. He is saying that on hearing Shirdi Sai songs he is getting immense happiness and enjoyment. He even said that one night he found an idol of Shirdi Sai on his dining table and even on questioning none could reply properly. This is unlike Nag who earlier used to listening to songs from commercial films and who never responded or gave vent to his feelings though he listened to songs and poems in Annamayya and Ramadasu.
Some devotees feel that age bought him wisdom and spiritual realisation, others feel that this kind of marketing gimmicks create undue hype on Nag-Raghavendra rao’s upcoming devotional flick ‘Shirdi Sai’ which may backfire on film makers. One has to wait and watch for the spiritual effects of Nag’s spiritual musings.

Secret of grounded Gopichand never takes off

Tollywood angry young man Gopichand has immense following in masses. He did not disappoint them after turning to villian in ‘Jayam’ and later becoming hero. His mass masala entertainers get good response from B and C centres and many wonder why grounded Gopichand is never taking off. This time he tasted failure turning lover boy in ‘Mogudu’ under Krishna Vamsi direction. He is again back to his strong genre romancing Nayanatara in Jaganmohan IPS.
However the film’s shooting is stalled as director Bhoopati Pandian walked out of the project alleging harassment from Gopichand. The film makers replaced the director as some small mistake happened during shooting of marriage scene. However this Chennai based director slammed the film makers alleging mental torture from Gopichand asking him to change script, story and scenes immediately every time. Those who know Gopi’s behavior says that this is nothing new for the hero as he has the reputation of behaving in high handed manner with everyone around him.
Gopi recently got into problem when his marriage got cancelled with the bride revealing she was in love and then later her father killed. His close aides say that he is effected by that but others rubbish. They say Nizam King is known for this nefarious acts and that’s the reason why is career is ground and is never taking off though he has immense talent. Hope Gopi realises this and mend his ways as many feel he is a perfect replacement for Mass Raja Ravi Teja.

Evil effect on ‘Eega’ creator

No one hates failures and Rajamouli is no different. Till recently he has been hailed as the most successful director and he has proven track record of delivering 100% hits with all top tollywood stars. His recent venture ‘Eega’ which is a starless crusade against all top stars across the country emerged victorious in the most spectacular manner with many film makers turning envious of ‘Eega’ and his creator ‘Rajamouli’.
There were speculations that he would be going to kollywood and direct superstar Rajanikanth and Surya. Even in tollywood rumors mills worked overnight that he would be directing Balakrishna’s 100th film. Many thought with lady luck smiling how many more stunning hits this tollywood jakkana would deliver. However some evil eye had its desired ‘Evil’ effect which his detractors always desired for.
Some how he was influenced into nourishing the dreams of becoming a producer and he turned overnight producer teaming with Sai Korrapati in the middle of the project ‘Andala Rakshasi’. The film proved to be a disaster for him and many wondered how Rajamouli who has a keen eye for technicalities was duped into producing the film. Some even questioned whether Rajamouli ever watched the film before turning the producer.
Now Rajamouli knows that he would have to face difficult questions from media and to escape from that he has taken a holiday route to Goa. Hope he will regain his senses and in the mean time evil eye’s black magic will disappear once he returns after his vacation.

Tarak in search of success track

When NTR made his debut with a sensational hit ‘Student No 1’, entire Nandamuri family launched Taraka Ratna in a grand manner in a glittering ceremony where he signed 7 films on a spree which is all time record for any hero across the world. However his first film ‘Okato Number Kurradu’ turned to be a disaster and snap disappeared all the other six projects without any trace.

A decade passed by from that time and till now nothing spectacular happened expect for the fact that Tarak is still in search of his success track. More recently he came with his Nandeeswarudu last year and prior to the release of his flick he announced with much fanfare asking his fans to address him as ‘NTR’ showing that he is in competition with young tiger NTR.
However the film went without a trace and now he is planning to turn ‘Vijeta’ under the direction of P.Uday Bhaskar. Now many wonder whether he can emerge victorious and prove all his detractors false. However film critics feel that unless until he improves his acting skills, diction, dialogue delivery along with his dancing and stunt enacting skills it will be a highly daunting task for him to turn the tide which is against him at present. One has to wait and see how Tarak emerges successful in his search of success track.

Ravi Teja acts as a settlement man and Ileana does the role of a cab driver in Bangkok. Brahmanandam and Kovai Sarala play the role of god Vishnu Murthy and goddess Lakshmi. The movie is releasing today worldwide.
Ileana is pairing up with Ravi Teja in this movie after their hit combination in Kick. Raghu Kunche is the music director. BVSN Prasad on his Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner and Reliance entertainments are jointly producing the movie.

Ajith flexes muscles for new movie

It is known to our readers that Billa combination Ajith and Vishnu Vardhan (Panja fame) is back for a new movie. Ajith had promised director Vishnuvardhan a new look when he met him 15 days back, and Vishnu says he was surprised to find the actor much stronger and fitter than the last time he saw him.
The director goes praising Ajith, “He is very dedicated. I’m surprised to know that even after completing 20 years in the film industry, his dedication is unmatched. Six hours a day in the gym is no mean achievement for a man who had undergone 13 surgeries. Few can match the intensity of his commitment and each time I see him, he surprises me. She is a student in a management school now. Actress Karthika is doing a business management course in London School of Economics. ‘I am pursuing this to take care of my family business,’ Karthika says.
Karthika also confirmed that she will be equally concentrating on her acting career akso. ‘I would like to be remembered as a good actress, like my mother,’ says the daughter of Radha.

Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu audio launch in Dubai

Power star Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming movie Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu shooting is progressing at brisk pace. The entire talkie portion and 2 songs will be completed by the end of August. Reports suggest that the audio launch of this much awaited film will take place by the third week of September. It is rumoured that the audio launch might be organised outside India especially Dubai. Still no proper confirmation on it and we have to wait for more news on this.

But, the teaser of the film is likely to be released either on August 22 to coincide megastar Chiranjeevi’s birthday or September 2 on Pawan Kalyan’s birthday.

Athiloka Sundari Sridevi is making her comeback to movies with English Vinglish. Gauri Shinde, wife of filmmaker R. Balki is debuting as a director with “English Vinglish”. According to the director, the film and Sridevi’s characterization in the movie is inspired by her mom. “Like most people in India struggle with this language, it’s just the insensitivity and insecurity that made me do this film,” Shinde said.
Asked how she managed to cast Sridevi in her debut film, she said: “While writing the script, I did not think of anyone. When Balki met Boney and Sridevi, they asked him what was he doing at that time. Balki mentioned about me writing a script. Sridevi liked the subject and I narrated the script to her and it just happened.”
“English Vinglish” is slated for release Oct 5.

Now other cabinet ministers J Geeta Reddy, Sabita Reddy, Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Kanna Lakshminarayana are feeling the heat. Many feel one by one all the ministers will be sent packing to Chanchalguda Jail. Already Geeta Reddy who is having significant clout with Sonia Gandhi and Congress high command flew behind the heels of Dharmana Prasada Rao to somehow manage and get her name erased from CBI charge sheets using pressure by her political bosses.
Whether her efforts fructify or not, many are wondering when all these ministers go to jail will CM Kiran hold cabinet meetings in Jail and make them sign files so that the functioning of the Govt and the system will not suffer. Some others feel that by sending all minsters from YSR cabinet to Jail, CBI and Congress high command is making Jagan’s job easier. Now he can without waiting for any one’s approval or raising the suspicion can arrange for cabinet meet of former CM YSR’s cabinet and pass some resolutions to topple congress govt and plan its down fall. It takes lots and lots of guts to leave alone speak but to look at the Nandamuri icons who are known as Simhas and tigers of tollywood. However Allari Naresh is hearing nothing of those good advices but is going ahead to mock the dreaded simhas and tigers. Allari Naresh who till now making everyone smile heartily this time is turning Sudden Star in ‘Sudigadu’. The film directed by Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao and is produced by Chandrasekhar Reddy on Arundhati Movies banner. The film comes with the tagline ‘Oke Ticket pai vanda cinemalu’.Film is presently in post production. One wonder how he got that sudden courage to take spoofs at all heroes and especially targeting Nandamuris is still a mystery.
In the film’s first look poster which was released recently Sudigadu explain specials of tollywood heroes and in one one liner he says “heroes are experts in thigh thumping and delivering punch dialogues”. Even a movie novice and just born baby knows whom these words refer to. Natasimha Balakrishna is renowned and popular for thumping thighs like he did in ‘Samarasimha Reddy’ and airing powerful dialogues. Young Tiger NTR is also no less reputed in those kind of acts. It has to be seen what will be the reaction of Nandamuri fans and their heroes. Will there be any counters or will they choose to ignore these spoofs as a part of Allari Naresh’s comedy acts has to be seen.

TDP Babu is on Taming mission

Those who watched the glory of Chandrababu are unable to bear the gloom of TDP chief. He shone like a star in the world’s galaxy of leaders with international community hailing him as the brand ambassador of India and future PM of India who has great foresight to for brighter vision for the Country. True to their predictions he bought global recognition to Hyderabad and by giving it hitech color, he made Hyderabad synonym for India. However all that is past and many feel those days may not come again for Babu.
He underwent lot of tribulations after 9 yrs as CM, now as around 9 more years as Opposition Leader. Whatever strategy he tried it boomeranged on him and now to increase his headaches Telangana moment is hanging as damsel sword on his neck. Many feel had he used the same foresight and rewarded hi colleague KCR with plump portfolio, he and the state wouldn’t have faced so many troubles or underwent so many trials and tribulations.
Now Babu is on taming mission. He is facing problems from tigers and lions from inside and outside. From outside tigers like KCR, Kiran and Jagan are lurking around while from inside Natasimha Balakrishna and Young Tiger NTr along with Harikrishna is waiting to pounce on him. He with carrot and stick method tamed Simha Balakrishna and it seems he is content to contest from Hindupur Constituency next elections. He has bigger and most daunting mission of taming Harikrishna and NTR and Babu might have already opened discussion channels with them.
He is taking on outside tigers politically chosing to ignore Jagan completely though his other leaders are taking on him. He is concentrating on laying strong foundation and his BC card is just a trailer. He is going hammer and tongs on CM Kiran. It has to be seen how he tames T-Tiger KCR. Once that is done TDP will see ray of success light.

AP suffering from Sonia Stroke !

State of Andhra Pradesh which is regarded as rice bowl of India and also the country’s top destination for software techies is fast losing its shine and sheen due to various developments on political fronts. Till recently corporates vied with each other scouting for lands, fixing appointments with CM of the state to invest in State as it provided conducive and peaceful atmosphere. Similar is the case with job seekers from other regions who made Hyderabad favorite destination as they don’t have to face any language problem unlike any other places. Even on farming sector farmers used to be role models for entire country.

However political instability, rising production costs, increasing power cuts, depleting natural resources, derogating infrastructure facilities,law and order problem with authorities turning a blind eye and power holidays to corporates, pressures from political front to recruit people on regional basis than on merit are making corporates look for alternative venues. When analysed further what could be the cause for the present situation in State many feel that people and AP is suffering from Sonia Stroke.
Her indecisiveness on various burning issues that are troubling the state, inability to control rebellion in the party and the Govt, divide between cabinet ministers, diverging statements from ministers on various issues is bringing disrepute to the State and bringing down its brand value among the corporates across the world. Unless until State comes out of Sonia Stroke it is difficult to survive.

Open Challenge to Danam Nagendar

Communist Party leader Raghavulu who is doing some yatra or other to be in the media attention and become talk of the town threw an open challenge to State Labour Minister Danam Nagender.. Reacting to Danam Nagender’s dadagiri sometime back at Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy shrine managed by ISKON near Banjarahills, he dared Danam to carry locks and keys to various temples across the state and get along with the job of putting them in lockouts.
Raghavulu questioned how dare Danam could do like this taking law and order in his hands, completely breaking them with even having a second thought that he is in responsible position as a Labor Minister of the state. He wondered whether Danam would have acted in matters pertaining to his department and problems faced by labors who are struggling to meet both ends due to bad and unimaginable working conditions and managements who are taking workers for a ride.
Raghavulu went on to accuse the minister of hobnobbing with the managements of the companies to meet his vested personal and political interests seeking funds for the party leaving the cause of labors in a lurch. Many wondered how Raghavulu went hammer and tongs at Danam with such intensity. He even asked Danam to put down his papers as the Minister since he failed on all fronts and is busy on his mission to lock temples across the state. It has to be seen how Danam will react and what will be the impact of his reaction.

AP’s Political Yatra Specials

Currently Vijayamma is doing deeksha on fees reimbursement issue and may soon hit the roods. Already CM Kiran Kumar Reddy who is fighting bitter battles in and out of his very own Congress Party is on ‘Indiramma Bata’.

Not to be left behind is TDP chief Chandra Babu who is all set to start yatra on VNPIC land assignment. One should not under estimate BJP’s lone soldier Kishan Reddy who is currently doing yatra in Tirumala forests against smuggling in forests and inability of Govt to control it. Communists are specialists in yatras and so people need not be disappointed. If people wants to travel from one place to another carry the flag of any of these parties planning their journey according to their yatra specials and one can be sure of reaching their destinations free of cost!. Hope people utlise the services provided by political parties with their yatra specials. Who say parties don’t work for the cause of people?

When Magadheera director Rajamouli unleashed his graphic wonder ‘Eega’ across the world, little did film makers from across India think even in their dreams that it will be a stunning hit. However ‘Eega’ flew enchantingly to mesmerize movie lovers cutting across regions across the globe. Even more surprisingly even in land of creativity and innovation, Chennai also witnessed houseful screenings for the film.Magadheera Rajamouli became Darsakadheera with bollywood getting ready for red carpet welcome. Though Kollywood superstars and top film makers lavished praises on Rajamouli, they took ‘Eega’ stunning success as an insult to their creativity.

Now their creative directors led by Shankar are getting ready to unleash a multipronged creative attack on tollywood. KV.Anand is getting ready to unleash his ‘Maatran’ (Duplicate) in tollywood in which Surya is starring as conjoint twins. Aleady Anand tasted success with ‘Ko'(Rangam) and is keen on giving tollywood film makers taste of their own medicine. Already the trailers and first look of the film is creating a sensation. The film features Kajal in lead and more recently the film makers launched the film’s audio in a grand function at Singapore. Similarly Mysskin is launching Jeeva, ‘Ko'(Rangam’ fame as India’s first super hero in ‘Mugamudi'(Mask). Jeeva will be seen sporting Mask in the film. The film is about a youth’s fight against corruption. Tollywood should be prepared for more from kollywood film makers as ‘Eega’ instigated their creative minds.
